I believe with the FNB of O Speedy Rewards card it's a no. That's the one I have. But same terms same bank only I get rewards for paying bills like gas or electric at speedway gas stations.

I had a credit limit of 5,200.00, first I got a ultimatum from the company to use the card or loose the card, after a month I looked at my credit score and saw where they had canceled the card and knocked a huge hole in my credit

So, I have two secured cards with FNBO - one opened in 2014 and the second in 2017.. and to this day BOTH remain secured. My credit scores have obviously improved (I do have 'normal' Prime credit cards in my wallet now) but keep these cards because of the AAOA for these on my credit report. Never overlimit, always pay right when the statement cycles.. not sure why after 5 years you won't unsecure a $500 credit card. I see the prior responses and can tell you that your customer service team does not take "feedback" seriously.. they hardly care when you do give any feedback. I can barely call in to your 888 number to speak with someone, without waiting for at least 25-30 min on average. I rated this card 2-stars as it really offers NOTHING in the way of benefits, aside from being a loan on your own money, which also earns zero interest. Card APR is OK.. but there are ZERO features on this card that make it worth the hassle (no BT, no Rewards, Nada).

I got the secured credit card in August 2018. Did $300 deposit. They always do a great job. Have a nice website. Give a FICO bankcard score from Experian on website. Easy to pay bill from website. Good phone auto service also (reporting balance, etc.). They report to all 3 bureaus. After six months, February 2019, they increased my credit limit $100 without me asking. (I used the card consistently and always pay the balance down to $0 every month.) I give it 5 stars. Thank you.

They don't tell the facts. They say its this amount on the balance and when you get ready to pay off the amount you call and they forget to add everything in and then you end up paying a large interest. It happened to me.

Even though I got this card to build my credit, I also got it b/c I needed a VISA/MC since most merchants take those over Amex. (I already had an Amex). In order to get the card, I had to go through the whole verification process and then pay a deposit. Finally got the card and after the first billing cycle, I go to use it at the grocery store (with a cart full of food) and the transaction wouldn’t even authorize. I called FNBO to find out what's going on and I’m immediately transferred to the "fraud dept". They tell me that I need to verify my identity and to "go to a bank with my ID and call them back when I get there for further instructions." What?! Who has time for these inspector gadget games. They really put me in a bind my shutting the card off FOR NO REASON. I only used the card to buy groceries and a few online items, so there was no reason for my account to be flagged or shut down. They wouldn't even tell me WHY my account was flagged in the first place. Turns out, they always do this randomly to people's account "for security reasons." To add insult to injury, they also REFUSED to refund my security deposit and all other monies owed!! I filed a complaint with the CFPB (FNBO already has 153 complaints filed against them this year) and I will be suing them if I don't get my money back.

Card is great. Thou it reports as a secured card. Capital one doesn't or opensky credit card. Those two report as credit card not secured. If you shop at speedway gas stations I advise getting it from them the secured speedway credit card. Almost same terms with speedway bounus points that's what I have. Other then that some service reps are rude when I call. That's all

Did you start with the secured card. I did and was advised when I opened it 08/2015 that I wouldn't be able to get the line increase unless I secured it. So it's at zero now and I have other unsecured ones. They never offered to keep the card open and refund the deposit so idk
