More than 40 million people in the United States have a Bank of America credit card (or a former MBNA credit card). The 2006 corporate merger between Bank of America and MBNA made Bank of America cards one of the top credit offerings in the country. MBNA credit cards -- and now Bank of America credit cards -- are best known for the affinity cards offered in conjunction with universities, non-profits, and professional organizations.

I have had a Bank of America Visa for about three years now and its been a great card overall. I first got it back in 2011 while at a Bank of America doing some homeowner transfers and money transactions. Then the branch manager told me about it and I said sign me up. Some of the features I like are the 0% for 15 months intro rate and the 35 dollar max late fee and the customer service I get when I call them. I had to call to get it replaced when I lost it and my wallet in Oklahoma for a weekend. They were nice and I more

I was initially interested in the credit cards offered by Bank of America now that I've had a good experience with them for a while. I saw a few that had higher interest rates from other banks, so I decided to go with Bank of America. I have the Rewards Visa and I'm really happy with it. The interest rate is reasonable and I've never had a problem speaking to customer service about the card. It's very nice to have another option besides my debit card in my wallet to use. I pay it off regularly and use it regularly. I couldn't be happier with it.

I have to disagree on their customer service. It's a very involved process to get to a live person and the hold times can be extremely long.

I got the Bank of America Rewards Visa a few months ago. I am very happy with it. I initially applied for it because I had a large balance to transfer over and wanted to avoid paying high interest. This card had the longest time frame for interest free payments. Transfers were interest free for 18 months! I also highly suggest this card if you have a checking account at Bank of America. It makes paying your bill online much easier. You can simply transfer an amount from a checking or savings and the payment applies immediately. This is my favorite card out of all the cards I own. They more

I have a Bank of America card that works as both a credit and debit card. It is really convenient and helps me pay for purchases if I don't have enough money in my debit card. As a student, I don't have to pay fees on it so it's great.

I applied for a Bank of America card just to have an extra one in case I needed it. I was not totally pleased with it, despite some of the cash back extras. My credit was good enough to be accepted, but unlike Discover which I like, I did not feel the customer service was all that great. Furthermore, you have to apply at a branch which is very inconvenient. The online presence of the company is also lacking, and I found using the site difficult and there were not nearly enough options to take care of my bill properly.

I used to bank exclusively at Bank of America, so I went ahead and got a credit card with them. I opted for the BankAmericard Cash Rewards card, mostly because it offered cash back plus extra on gas, and I was buying a lot of gas at the time.

The card is... ok. Considering the fact that you have to have almost perfect credit to get it though, I would expect more. The base earn is kind of low for my tastes, and while you can get up to 3 percent back on some purchases, it's mostly fuel. But there are no fees to use the card, which is always a more
