I was excited to receive this card with the perks that they offered. Financially I hit a couple of emergencies and used 2 different cards other than my Aviator. It increased my usage up to about 60% on two other ones. My Aviator was about 20% use. I was on time with all my payments as well, and never late, with any of my credit. I noticed my credit score plunge and realized Aviator had lowered my credit limit to within $100 of my balance, now 94% use. Their reasoning for the drop in credit limit was my use of my other 2 cards-nothing to do with them. Very frustrating.

Ruined my credit. I applied for and received the card. They did not bill me and reported a late payment on my credit, dropping my score from 833 to 701. I never had a late payment in 40 years until this company came along. I appealed, but they insisted they were correct. I may sue them since I have prepaid lawyers. Terrible service. They don't know how to run a company.

Lengthy and inefficient application process: They would mail you a letter two weeks after your online application, asking you to mail back copies of address proof, social security, and identification (instead of uploading or faxing), which is very unsafe. Then, they wouldn't get back to you until you called them. After four transfers, I got to the KYC department. They processed it right away over the phone and mentioned there were internal issues in the system, so they would call back. It was a 45-minute call—an utter waste of time.

I would give them a 0 if I could. I canceled my card with them today. They are the worst credit card company I have ever used. Please stay away or you will be sorry.

Tried to ship my skis from a hotel in Canada for a mere $104. They placed a hold on my card without advising me or asking for my consent. I called, and the fraud specialist, who was working from home due to illness, focused more on his and his relatives' sickness than on resolving my issue. He claimed he fixed it, but he did not. When I called back, the second fraud agent was clueless and asked me why I had put a hold on my card! She then involved a supervisor, who explained that the hold was because the shipping company sounded suspicious. After verifying the legitimacy of the company, they removed the hold. However, when the concierge tried to process the charge again, it was again denied. I called again and spoke with a third fraud specialist, warning that I would cancel the card if the issue was not resolved. She hung up on me. During my fourth call, after two hours of trying, I spoke with a very helpful woman, but the call was dropped while I was on hold. The fifth agent informed me that because the charge had been attempted three times, my card was now on an "ultrablock," which meant no one could intervene. She managed to initiate the removal of this block, but it wouldn't be lifted for another 24 hours, totaling 72 hours of frustration and inability to use me card. It was a dreadful experience, especially since I was flying with American Airlines that day and fortunately did not need my card for any purchases.

Decent Airline Card but TERRIBLE Customer Service. This was my second (and final) airline credit card from BarclaysUS. Rude and arrogant customer service personnel on multiple calls. They mess up, I had to clean up their mistakes and they then they treat you like you're the problem. They contacted me about fraud on the card. I called immediately and told them it was not a valid charge. They stated the charge was removed. 4 days later there it was on the card. After 7 years of sub-par customer service, I decided to pay-off, cancel and close the card and account. 5 days later I received a new card to replace the frauded card.

The temporally stopped my card three times this week for Go Puff purchases under $15 Dollars each delaying my dinner and then this morning I was forced to call them and then deal with one of their operators from the Philippines and then also get a code to my phone and plug that in it’s a high pain in bottom for the type of use I get out of it and yes, it’s high interest and high fee per year. I wouldn’t have done this or kept them except I’m hoping to use the airline mileage When I get to be comfortable about traveling with people who sneeze and cough and yawn without covering their mouths

Please stay away from this card and Barclay bank. They are scam. I set up automatic payment everymonth, and they changed from automatic to manual payment without my consent. I was not aware of it until few months later when they called and said my account was closed because I didnt pay. So it racked up few hundred bucks for late payment and interest charges. I tried to argue to no good. I paid all charges thinking that was the last time I had to deal with them. But no today (nearly a year later) they called me again and said I didnt pay again. So my account was inactivated by them, but they still charged annual fee and rack up late fee and interests again. I was so mad. Stay away from these scammers.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CARD!!! Less than a week, card declined while out of town- customer service not available until morning. Unbelievably the WORST service I have ever experienced!!!! Apparently no one can tell me why this has happened and they can’t get my card working until the morning. Thank goodness I have another card or I would literally be sleeping in my car tonight. (Middle aged woman —out of town!!!) Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! This message needs to get to upper management—- TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! ?

Same. Card gets declined every time I try to use it online. That's after taking me a month for them to approve after application with 800+ credit. Customer service say the transactions have been processed their side yet vendor shows decline. Fraud/security team had apparently put a hold on my card because of a transaction from Google. They tell me they will release the hold and clear the card but I need to wait until after the weekend to use it!! Wth?!?
