Ashley Stewart Credit Card's Additional Info
•
Easy access to your account online and toll free customer service.
It’s all about the discounts. The Ashley Stewart Credit Card doesn’t offer points or cash back on every purchase, which is the main thing that separates it from the market’s best store cards. But it does give you 20% off your first purchase, a 20% off coupon for your birthday each year, and the promise of additional discounts and exclusive promotions. With that in mind, the Ashley Stewart Card is best for people who only plan to shop at Ashley Stewart once or twice a year.
For fair credit and up. As is the case with most store cards, you only need fair credit to get approved for the Ashley Stewart Credit Card. So most fans of the store should be able to get approved for its card. If you don’t know where your credit stands, you can check your latest credit score for free on WalletHub.
No annual fee to fret over. The Ashley Stewart Store Card is $21.58 per year cheaper than the average credit card, according to WalletHub’s latest Credit Score Landscape Report. This makes it suitable for credit building and the Island Approach.
Makes carrying a balance quite expensive. The average credit card for people with fair credit has a 26.59% APR, according to WalletHub data. And the average cards for people with good and excellent credit charge 24.1% and 18.01%, respectively. The Ashley Stewart Credit Card trounces all three averages (in a bad way). So if you don’t want to overpay on interest, make sure to pay your bill in full every month.

My balance is lower than what is stated so they don’t update fast enough to show current balance, therefore my score is lower. Otherwise card is ok. There when you need it I guess because clothing is highly priced so you need a credit card.

Very high interest rate. Cute if you shops at Ashley Stewart often and you need an account. Other than that use another credit card that's accepted everywhere.

They have terrific products and nice sales frequently. However, this bill that is continuously being reported on my credit was paid off for several months. I need better review from them so that my credit is accurately reported each time. Thank you in advance!

Never ever get this card I swear it is the worst mistake I ever made in my life I have not use this card in over two years and yet sporadically they will send a negative amount to my credit report and I just dropped my credit down from good to bad because of this credit card and another one from the same bank that I have not used in years. These are the worst credit cards on earth don’t get them

My account was paid in full and was in good standing. It had been dormant for months, but I didn't want it to be closed. On my credit report, it stated that the account was closed by the credit grantor. It was marked red. Seems that you should be notified before that happens, and even then it should say "paid".

I made my credit card payment on the 12th like I was supposed to but did not realized that I had to make the payment by 8pm ET. My payment was made at 7:59 CT. Although the manager agreed that it was an honest mistake, they would NOT remove the $27 late fee that was applied to my account. They stated that they do not give one time courtesy adjustments even if they understand the situation. I am livid and wished that I never would have accepted this card!

I have been an Ashley Stewart card holder for two years I have received three increases for good credit behavior I paid my balance off in full in June and decided to go to the store (for the first time in store) to buy an outfit for an interview I thought I had full access to my credit since I paid the balance off in full thirty days ago, and as we speak the app says it's available to spend go in the store ready to checkout and the rep tells me she has to call the customer service line I'm not thinking anything of it because I have never used the card in store so I thought it was a security feature turns out they tried to tell me my account was in active and I needed to reapply for credit??? What so I went ahead and played the game to be denied. Well I said I don't understand seeing how I just paid the account off 45 days ago. She tells me oh it's because they haven't ran my credit in a while.. I just got a credit increase six months ago..? So my purchase was not made and the embarrassment in the store the only thing the rep on the phone could say was sorry . Sorry doesn't make me feel any better or less embarrassed or confused. I asked why I wasn't notified she said oh in not sure you should have received a letter letting you know your account was closed. Maybe I didn't receive a letter because my account isn't closed it's still open according to the online app. I am so done with this company. The in-store rep was shaking her head like yes this happens alot. I don't understand how this company manages to stay open. So back to lane Bryant and torrid I go.
