Well, first of all it has a $79 annual fee, so it better have lucrative rewards to warrant paying such a high fixed cost. Lets get to it. The Bank of Hawaii Hawaiian Airlines Visa Signature Card gives you a one-time 25% discount for a trip between Hawaii and the mainland U.S. for you and a companion, 2,000 bonus miles every year on your account anniversary, 20,000 bonus miles after your first purchase, 15,000 bonus miles after you spend $1,000, 2 miles per $1 spent through Hawaiian Airlines, and 1 mile per $1 spent everywhere else. Now, there are two types of people who the Hawaiian Airline Visa Signature Credit Card could be good for. Frequent Hawaiian Airlines flyers and people looking to save on a single vacation. Frequent Hawaain Airlines flyers should get a Hawaaian Airlines Credit Card because it does offer value, and flights with the airline are one of their biggest expenses. They must simply decide whether to get this Hawaiian Airline Visa Signature Card or the Hawaain Airlines Credit Card. The former has better rewards but it has the NPSL feature, which means you won’t know what your credit limit is and your credit utilization could be reported to the major credit bureaus in such a way as to damage your credit standing slightly. If you want to go to Hawaii for a vacation, the Hawaiian Airline Visa Signature Credit Card would be a good choice too since free flights start at 20,000 miles and you get that 15% discount.
