As a store card this card seems to have some great benefits. It has that typical heavy discount for the first time you use the card and has some additional special promotions. It gives points for purchases so that you can earn reward dollars and it allows the user to take advantage of 35 exclusive savings days each year, but doesn't specify when those days are in the article. The big down fall I see for getting this card is the high interest rate and the short grace period. I don't think this is a card that I will use.

A lot of store cards can be extremely useful, and I do not see the Belk store card being any different. Belk's APR on this card is simply too high for it to be considered very appreciative of their customers, however. Although, if paid off in full each period, the Rewards Points and exclusive savings days can be a real reward for a frequent Belk customer. In the end, I think this card can be a great value.

The Belk Store card sounds like a great card for people who have good credit and shop at the Belk Store frequently. However if you don't have very good credit you won't be able to be approved for this card, whether you shop at the Belk Store frequently or not. I would hope that this store has a card option for those you have less than great credit scores as many people do.

The Belk Store Card is ok. If you are a frequent shopper at Belk, it is probably worth it. You have to have at least a "fair" credit score to be approved. The downside is that the rewards are hard to obtain. You must spend $400 to receive $10 in Belk Rewards Dollars. The interest rate can be very high. I'm loving the receipt-free returns!

The Belk Store card has both positives and negatives that will attract or turn off credit card holders. For example, it is a reward card, but unfortunately you have to spend $400 just to receive $10 cash back, which in comparison to some reward cards like ie:CapitalOneRewards you are not receiving very much back for what you spend. However, the APR is similar to other department store cards, and even less than say a BestBuy card. One plus that I do like about the card is the receipt-free returns, and the savings that you can get annually. Overall I give the card 3 stars due to the fact that although more

The Belk Store Card is an okay card with a few decent features. On the plus side, you earn 1 point for every dollar you spend on the car. Every 400 points earns you $10 Belk Reward Dollars. The negatives of the card are 1) there are only 35 exclusive savings days each year and 2) The APR is completely outrageous at 24.49%. Unless you're going to pay off your entire balance each time you receive your statement, you'd be better off using a different method of payment to shop at Belk.

This card looks good. One feature that I especially like is the receipt free return feature. This is often a real pain for me to keep up with, so I like that the card eliminates that. I also like that accumulating points on the card gives me actual cash back rather than a percentage off as with most cards. One thing I noticed was that the grace period was only 23 days. This seems very odd, and I feel like this would be a number that I would struggle to keep track of.

The Belk store card comes with a generous initial shopping discount and rewards program, however rewards are only available for use through the Belk store. This is great for anyone who frequently shops at Belk, but not for anybody who wants to have a cash back option. The card is operated through GE Capital, which I have had nothing but good experience with. While an intro APR of 24.49% is high for a credit card, I believe the rewards program makes this a great deal for anyone who does not intend to carry a balance.

This card is great for the Belk fans out there. My mother frequents the store a lot and uses her card to her advantage. If you only go to the store a few times a year then I would consider a different option. Some cards give 2 points for every dollar which may give you more rewards. Overall this card is a fair way to save some money at Belk.

The Belk Store Card seems to be your average, run of the mill store card. It's nice that you're able to earn points as well as a 15% discount when you open the card, but I feel that the point to dollar ratio is a tab bit high. It's nice that there are no fees associated with this card, which is very nice! The only real draw back for this card is the high APR, so if you're the type of person who likes to carry a balance, this card may not be what you're looking for.

The Belk Store Card seems like a fairly decent store card. I like the fact that it has a reward program per dollar spent. The initial 15% bonus is okay, however a bonus on each transaction would be better. The no fee is ideal! The set back may be the required credit score for some people, however all the other features seem comparable and maybe slightly better than other store cards. I did not see an apr mention so that makes me wonder a little. I would inquire about the apr rate before even applying.

The Belk store card is a great opportunity for department store lovers! Every dollar you spent is points earned toward rewards. However, unlike cards like the Capital One Venture card, it is only usable at Belk, so it is only worthwhile for a dedicated Belk fan.

Belk seems like a great credit card like any other department store credit card. I've had a credit card with department stores like Macy's where they constantly offer special days for savings. It's always a perk to get points from where ever you shop.

It seems like a standard store credit card, good rewards for shopping in store and 15% off your one day shopping trip seems like a good deal. I would recommend it if you are an avid belk's shopper, but if you are just looking for a general credit card there are better options out there. It also doesn't say what the regular rate is and that concerns me.

The Belk Store Card seems like a good store card, but I like one card I can use for multiple stores, and there are not any Belks in the area I moved to recently. I do like that you get a rewards certificate after spending and earning 400 points, cashback/points reward systems are always a good incentive( and cause me to spend more than normally, haha.)

I have had a Belk credit card for at least 15 years. I have used it quite often but I prefer to use a credit card that gives me points for travel or products other than clothes. I do like the fact that if you return an item without a receipt, the cashier can just look for the charge on your account and credit it. It seems to take me a long time to accumulate the 400 points necessary to get the $10 coupon. I would definitely use the Belk card more often if I could use the points for purchases from other stores.

The Belk Store card is great if you shop frequently at Belk. You initially get a 20% discount off of your whole purchase. $10 for every $400 spent isn't the
highest amount of reward, but I guess if you buy things a lot, it might add up.
I do also like the fact that they sometimes hold double points events for customers.,
as well as 35 exclusive shopping days each year. Customers like to feel like
they are receiving special treatment when they hold a credit card from a specific

The Belk Store Card is an alright credit card for those who frequent the store. There is no annual fee and an okay points system. You get $10 for each 400 points you earn, which is $400 or less depending on if you get bonus points. This is alright, but not super great. For comparison, the JC Penny card rewards you with $10 per $100 spent, which is much better overall. The initial 15% discount is a perk. The interest rate is mediocre for a store card.

The Belk store card is an awesome choice for people that are in a position like mine. This card enables you to collect reward points that benefit you so much in the end. The day you even open an account the store gives you a 15% off your purchase. The more you spend on your purchases increases the percentages you can get off your entire purchase after a certain amount of time. In comparison to the Target store card, i feel like this is more exclusive and beneficial.

The Belk Store Card is a pretty great all-around choice. The special events, reward points, and introductory deal are amazing, while the fees and grace period make it easy to try out. The support is decent and the website makes it really convenient to track all of these benefits. The interest rate could certainly be lower for those with high credit and looking to take advantage of it, but that does not stop this from being a solid choice.

The good features of this card begins with the 15% off purchases the day you open your account. A person could open an account, when doing their holiday shopping for example, with an offer like this and save quite a good amount of money. Unfortunately that is the best that Belk has to offer with this card. They are consistent with other store cards with their high interest rates (nearly 25%). The rewards system is also lackluster. Unless you are shopping on double point event days, the rewards are $1 spent earns you 1 point. 400 points gets you a $10 rewards certificate. So spend $400 and basically get a more

I would say that the Belk Store Credit Card does have a couple nice features that someone could benefit from. The initial 15% discount for opening an account is a nice incentive for consumers, and the reward points are decent especially for a store credit card. The rewards I receive from my CitiBank card are not as good as the Belk Card. This credit card does not have an annual fee which doesn't impress me to much because many cards offer the same. My main concern is that the APR is a bit high so you definitely want to make sure you pay that balance off each month, otherwise your more

I'm gratified by the fact that the maximum late fee is $35 for this card. My bank charges me way more than that for overdraft fees! The $10 in Belk Rewards for every 400 points earned ($400 spent) is a little low for me, personally. I'm not likely to remember to shop on those exclusive savings days, though. Online tracking seems pretty standard for similar cards, though it's great and a necessary feature. Shopping with the Belk Store Card is nice for discounts but I don’t think I’m able to accumulate enough points to redeem them for any of those rewards. No annual fee is a HUGE plus!

I love my Belk Store Card. From the moment I applied and opened the credit card, I have enjoyed several benefits. I got 15% off all purchases that very day. Although it does have a higher interest rate, it has a 23 day grace period- almost a whole month before adding any late fees. Also, this card has a $35.00 max on late payments; thus, allowing me the breathing room needed when I was unable to work for one week last month. The store offers special savings to its card holders on 35 special days throughout the year. I have no reward point limits, like I do with my other more

I like that there is a max late fee of $35. My Victoria Secret and Kohls cards will keep charging me late fees as long as I don't keep paying. This has been hard when I've gone through a rough patch. With the Belk card, I wouldn't be worried that I would eventually owe hundreds of dollars in late fees. I also like that the grace period is 23 days. If I am short on cash for that month, I get almost a whole month before a late fee is added. I do like the high interest rate. I feel that with an interest rate that high, they should offer more

The Belk card is a pretty standard store credit card. It offers an additional 15% discount that can be used until closing in the day you opened the account. Points accruals for every dollar you spend that qualifies you for coupon discounts is a nice touch. The special card related sale days are pretty standard to other store cards as is the interest rate. Overall the Belk card is a pretty standard card with the added bonus of the point accruals. I have been very happy with this card and the perks it offers over the last few months I have had it.

The Belk Store Card is much better than other store cards. There is no annual fee with 23 days grace period. 15% off your first purchase, in my opinion, isn't a great attraction, but the reward points are great. There is no reward point limit like there is with other store cards and you can look up your rewards online. They Also have 35 days a year that are special saving days for card holders. My only real concern is the 24% interest rate, which is considerably high, but still in comparison with other store cards. I would rather stay with my bank credit card because of the significantly lower interest rates.

I really like that the Belk store card has no annual fee, those things drive me insane. The late fee is nice and low but the grace period could stand to be a little longer, I’m used to thirty days with my other credit cards. The rewards program is not bad considering it is an extra bonus that gives you back 10 dollars for every 100 you spent. The annual interest it a little high, I would want something in the 15-18% range, like my kohl’s card. Overall this card is good; it could stand a few upgrades for it to be great but if you often shop at Belk more

If you shop at Belk then this card is for you! My favorite part about this card was the 15% off they offered me on my first purchase. That is why I applied for the card and I couldn't be happier. They have 35 different days every year that have special savings when using the card. You also accumulate points as you spend, so the more you spend, the more you save. The APR is about average for store cards at around 24%, but if you're a fan of Belk I would seriously think about getting this card.

I originally signed up for this card to get the discount at the checkout and then planned on getting rid of it. After really looking I was surprised that it's not a bad card so I decided to keep it. The Belk Store credit card is a great credit card as far as store credit cards go. The interest is high like any other store card but unlike a lot of others it has a great point system. My khols card has the same rates but only offers discounts randomly. With the Belk card I get the discounts and build points overtime I shop. If you do a lot of more

I think the Belk Store Card is good for most people who shop here. There is a good rewards program and it is pretty efficient for most shoppers like myself. After you get 400 points, you will receive a ten dollar rewards certificate. I love this aspect of the card. In addition to the rewards, there is no max overlimit fee as well as no max penalty APR. The grace period is average at 23 days, but it works well for me. The one thing I'm not too fond of about this card is the thirty five dollar late fee.

The Belk Store Card is pretty decent for a store card. They offer $10 back for every 400 points earned, which if you do the math is 2.5% back on all purchases, or 5% back if you take advantage of double point days. Typically you see the best store cards top out at 5%, so it's nice that they do this, but I wish they'd offer 5% back all year round. Other than that there is no annual fee, but a really high APR. I would only advise using this card if you plan on paying it off every month.

The Belk Store Card is a great card to have if you shop there often. You can utilize they're rewards program to get discounts towards future purchases. They give you 1 point for every $1 you spend and sometimes hold "Double Point Events". After you rack up 400 points they will send you a $10 rewards certificate. Tracking your rewards points could not be simpler, using their website! I also like that they save you 15% off your first purchase. Not to mention that they have 35 exclusive savings days per year for card holders. I would definitely suggest you get this card, if you shop at the store often!

The Belk Store Card is not that great of a store card. The only redeeming quality it has is the 15% off signing bonus for your first purchase. Other than that, you'll be getting a measly 25 cents per dollar spent there. Even on the special double points events, you're still going to have to spend $200 for a $10 gift certificate! If you don't shop frequently but want the discount, you might just sign up for the 15% off, but even then the credit hit might not be worth it. The 35 exclusive savings days seems promising, but I would not expect much from that. Overall, only recommended if you frequently shop there.

Like most store specific cards, the Belk Store Card is only good if you frequently shop there. Since this store operates mostly in the southeastern part of the country, I wouldn’t be getting much use from it. A store credit card similar to this one is Sears or Kmart card. Just like Belk, they offer all my household needs and furniture but aren’t really the best place for a deal. Combined with no intro rate and pretty high APR, I would consider looking elsewhere for a better card. I’m sure that with points earned through shopping and exclusive savings days for card members, you could probably break even but the more

The Belk Store Card is another store card that you should consider only if the bonus sales discounts are worth it to you. I have a Kohl's card that I use specifically for this purpose, and it definitely help, though I won't use it otherwise. Here, you get points on this one which count towards gift cards, and there are bonus savings days. If you shop at Belk frequently, this card is definitely something to consider. Nothing else seems to be jumping out at me that screams amazing, but that's how store cards usually are. On the plus side they seem to accept a whole range of credit scores.

The Belk store credit card has many benefits for using it compared to other cards that just use a point system. The reward system is VERY appealing and rewards you more than what you use the card for. The interest on the card is also very low compared to the standard 29.99% that you see on most cards like my Chase Freedom Card. I believe the best part of the Belk Store Credit Card is the initial 15% discount you receive by just signing up for the card. This is incredibly handy if you plan on purchasing a big selection as soon as you get the card. Overall, the Belk more

The Belk store credit card has been extremely beneficial to me in building my credit. I shop at Belk a fair amount, and having their credit card has provided me with several opportunities to save money with coupons, sales, and free things. Additionally, it has allowed me to build my credit safely - without incurring too much debt. The customer service representatives have been extremely helpful every time there have been issues, which are few and far between. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience of having a Belk store credit card. I would suggest it to anyone that is looking for an easy and affordable credit card.

I have been a belk card holder for about two years, and from my experiences, the Belk credit card is a good card to have if you find yourself frequenting the store. I shop at Belk a good bit mostly because they have a pretty good tall section, and so I finally signed up for this. They are now constantly bombarding me with coupons and sales promotions. That may sound like a bad thing, but I LOVE it. I always know when the best time to shop there is and after spending a certain amount of reward points, you get a 10 dollar off voucher for use in Belk! Pretty more

I have had a Belk store credit card since 2008 and I really enjoy it. I like to keep it for times where I need to buy clothes for a special event and I do not have the money for it. The rewards are great on it. I frequently receive additional coupons and offers in the mail just for being a card holder. I can pay my bill in the store or online. I got married and needed to change my name on the card and did not have any issues dealing with customer service or with receiving my new card in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this more
