The deciding factor for getting this American Express card for me was the no annual fee. It's one of the few Amex cards that doesn't have an annual fee that actually has some decent rewards. With 1% back as a base and up to 3% back at grocery stores, it is a good card to have. I've yet to hit that $6,000 cap they have on rewards, but others might.

I love having an American Express card in my wallet for the times that I need one. The Blue Cash Everyday Card is definitely one of the better options for those that don't use their American Express card a ton. The main reason being that this AMEX card does not have an annual fee, which is very common for AMEX. It also does included rewards too. I would recommend trying to reach the $1,000 threshold in the first three months for your $100 reward, essentially making all your initial purchases at 10% cash back. Then just using it as you need it. Me and the wife pretty much just use our card for when we go to CostCo, as they only accept American Express and we were tired of stopping at the bank every time we wanted to go shopping there.

I really enjoy the AMEX Blue card. They pay their rewards promptly and easily. The rewards system is very easy to understand. You may be concerned that a lot of places don't accept American Express, but you'll find that most places definitely do, as long as they aren't a "mom and pop" type place. You will pile up rewards quickly if you do a lot of grocery shopping for your family. Also, they have excellent first year deals and NO annual fee, which is amazing. If you only have one credit card, you can always add a second by getting the AMEX Blue card. There's no risk and it only rewards you for getting it. I would highly recommend this card to my friends and family.

This is definitely one of the best credit cards I have had. When I first signed up, I earned $150 for spending $500 in the first three months, which was the promotion at the time. You also earn 3% cash back on groceries, 2% on gas and 1% on everything else all year around. They also have great offers available such as spend $75 dollars at Whole Foods, earn a $10 statement credit. Towards the end of the year, AMEX has a promotion where if you spend $25 dollars at an eligible small business you earn $25. Also, one of the best features is in the case you buy items such as a laptop or a TV on this card, AMEX will offer a one year warranty on top of the warranty you receive from the manufacturer.

I like having an AMEX card because I occasionally run into stores that only accept AMEX as their payment method, and I don't always carry cash on me. The nice thing about the Blue Cash card is that it has no annual fee, yet also has some rewards! The bill payment system online is excellent, and I love how I can get a year end report of all my expenses. AMEX also has special promotions during the year, such as Small Business Saturday which this card qualifies for. If you are looking for an AMEX card, definitely consider this one before any others with annual fees.

I think one of the best features of the card is that you can get cash back starting at $25 and then you can use more than one on the same bill. I make sure to get a $25 cash back credit as soon as I hit $25 so it will be waiting for me by the time I make my next payment. I also think the website is pretty easy to use. I've never had problems submitting a payment or looking at my bill. The only downside is the really high APR once the 0% intro rate expires. I'm going to try to pay most of my balance before my 0% rate expires because 20% interest is just too much.

The American Express Blue Cash Everyday is the best credit card available for consumers and its my favorite credit card to use. This card gives me great cash backs and their always a promotion going on that would allow you to earn rewards from using this card. The American Express Blue Cash Everyday allows you to earn rewards on everyday purchases. If you drive your car everyday you may put gas in it everyday as well, this card gives you 2% back on gas purchases. When you purchase groceries you receive 3% back, you earn 2% back for department stores purchases, and 1% back on other miscellaneous uses. I work part-time an go to school full time and the rewards this card offers helps me tremendously. Also this card does not have an annual fee and you have the flexibility to pay it over time. There is no spending minimum, no enrollment, and no rotating categories for you to earn cash back. Also, if a merchant does not accept a return of one of your eligible purchases, American Express will refund the purchase price. You can manage your account online and a number of tools is available for consumers who use American Express online. Also, you won't be held accountable for any fraudulent charges. This is the best credit card I have and I highly recommend it due to its amazing cash back rewards program.

I've been actively using this card since 2009 and I couldn't be happier. I love the fact that I get more of a cash-back return when I use it to buy groceries and gas since those two categories are high dollar categories for me. I also recently discovered that they offer complimentary 'extended warranty' service on certain purchases and even complimentary roadside assistance! I rarely run into situations where a vendor doesn't accept American Express so we try to use it as much as possible. One thing that I like that changed over the past year or so is that now you don't have to wait until the end of the year to receive your cash-back rewards. You can apply your rewards to your balance at any time throughout the year which is really nice. For the amount of reward dollars that we've been able to accumulate throughout the course of using this card, I can't believe that everyone doesn't take advantage of this. It's like getting free money for buying stuff that you'd normally buy anyway!

I love this card. I love that it gives 3% cash back on gas, especially with how high gas prices are. My husband and I are med school students so we don't make any money and therefore, money is super tight. This card surprisingly adds up alot in cash rewards and has helped us significantly. I would recommend it to anyone. It is also nice when making purchases at Cost-Co because they only accept Debit or American Express cards and we try to always use out credit cards so we can get rewards!

The American Express Blue Card is hands-down the best credit card I've had and used. The sign up bonus is incredibly generous, but where this card really shines is the rewards. A credit card isn't worth it unless you get something back, and this AMEX gives it back in spades. A lot of the other credit cards I was looking at had reward categories that encouraged more spending than I should be doing (movie theaters, department stores, travel, etc), and I'm trying to stick to a budget. Other cards had rotating categories for rewards so I never knew what I should be spending. The Blue Card is straightforward - 3% on groceries, 2% on gas (and department stores) and 1% on everything else. How great is that? Groceries and gas, the two things every person spends money on anyway, and they are giving you cash back for it permanently, all year around. And 1% on everything else means that I've moved all my expenses to this card, and I'm getting amazing rewards each month. I can't recommend this card enough to other people.

I've had this card for several years now. I originally signed up for it because I wanted the cash back since I never seem to use any rewards other than cash. Getting the cash rewards couldn't be easier. I can do it directly through their website and the rewards post directly against my outstanding balance. I really love the website interface that comes with the card too. It makes it very easy to track expenses and to print backup for my expense reports at work. I've found the interest rate to be a bit on the high side compared to some other cards I have, but I find that is typically the case of cards with good rewards...I suppose that extra interest helps pay for the rewards.

I've had this American Express card for about two years now. I am a college student so I am very picky to what little credit I have. I decided to open a card with American Express due to a low APR rate and no annual rate. This card also has the perks of receiving quite a deal of cash back. I believe that you get $100 for the first $1,000 you spend in the first three months. Also, you receive a specific cash back percentage for purchases spent on food, gas and clothing! That is basically all I purchase anyway so this is a perfect fit for my lifestyle. American Express is excepted at most retailers including Costco, which is a plus since they do not except any other form of credit.

Everybody needs an American Express card these days, and the Blue Card is one of the best you can get that doesn't have an annual fee, but still has rewards that will eventually add up to something. I don't use my AMEX Blue card much, as I mainly use it at places that only accept AMEX as payment (a place like CostCo for example). Because of that the rewards of an annual fee card would outweigh the benefits of having a free version with minimal rewards. I also have used my AMEX cards to get many of the benefits that are offered to actual AMEX members, such as Small Business Saturday, and the occasional store specific rewards (Spend $200, get at $20 statement credit). On top of that, Amex is just a pretty great company to deal with. The website interface is nice, bill payment interface is great. Customer service has always been good to me.

I have had the American Express Blue Card for several years now. It is the best card I have ever had. The APR is low and other fees are low. They have great customer service. I get a very fast response when contacting them by email. Over the phone they are polite, courteous and very helpful. Their website is very user friendly and very well designed. It is very easy to manage your account online. I do like their rewards program. I have redeemed several rewards with them and was very happy with it. I have never had a problem using the card unlike other card companies. I use this card primarily for big expenses but I have been using it monthly to buy gas to earn more points and pay it off monthly. If you are going to get a credit card than American Express Blue is the one for you.

Blue has been one of my “go to” cards for years. I travel some and Blue is always welcome where ever I end up at. The signup bouns is sweet, but the best features for me are the grocery store rebates and the fact that it is all in cash as a credit on the bill. That is outstanding compared to many other “rebate” cards who only pay out in points which you later need to redeem before they expire. Or you can only redeem for lame items like some half-useless thing from China that obviously might have cost the company $1 to aquire in the first place. I say that you should go get Blue and simply enjoy the cash it pays you for using it on everyday purchases.

I have had my American Express Card for about 5 years. It has been great. I like to use it on my everyday expenses such as groceries, gas, and clothing. I also like to use it for online shopping. I have never had any type of identity theft problems when using the card. I pay it off at the end of each month by logging into the amex web site and transferring money from my bank account. This is very easy to do. The more you use it, the more points you get. I have used my points for hotel rooms and for Disney tickets. Now, I am saving up my points for a new Apple iPad.

I have really enjoyed using my American Express Blue Cash Everyday card so far. I have had it for about a year and the first year has been interest free on all purchases. This has been a great benefit because I don't have to worry about paying the card balance off in full every month. I also received a big cash bonus when I signed up for the card which was a nice benefit. I use this card all the time especially for the bonus categories. I earn 2% back on gas and 3% back at the grocery store. I truly believe this is one of the best credit cards out there on the market right now. I had trouble finding a credit card at first because I am right out of college but I was approved for this one with minimal credit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a credit card that has no annual fee and pays great rewards.

I used my American Express Blue Card for all purchases with the 1% cash back program. What I did was set all my bills, such as utilities like gas, electric, cable, cell, HOA fees, gas for my car and groceries. It was great; I had all the bills set to auto-pay and also used it for purchases on other items as well. I loved the fact that there was no annual fee – that was an absolute must for me! I’m saving my points to either pay for an entire trip or to use towards an incredible trip, such as Bali! I can’t say I’ve ever had a problem with unexplained charges. One time I did have to reverse a charge, and their customer service is the absolute best! I didn’t have to feel I needed to be defensive, they resolved the situation and kept me informed every step of the way. They are the number 1 credit card company as far as I’m concerned.

I have had the American Blue Cash card for about 5 years now. I love this card, and usually use it for my larger purchases since I get cash back. This card has no annual fee which I love. I am against paying to use a credit card. I don't put a lot of charges on it, as I mostly save it for emergencies. I have never had a problem with the customer service for this card as well. Most recently I used it to make some Christmas purchases after not having used it for a while. I found out the next day that the charges did not go through, because American Express needed to verify that I was authorizing them. I simply logged into my account on the webpage, clicked on pending charges, and verified them. They went through instantly, and I didn't have to sit on hold with some customer service representative in another country! It was quick, painless, and most of all easy. I love my blue cash American Express card.

I have had this card since 2006 when my husband joined the military. They have always been so helpful to us. We used this card for a move from Georgia to Washington and since my husband was in the military they gave us a lower interest rate while we were paying off our balance. He was being deployed after we moved and because of his service they were super helpful when I accidentally missed a payment. We LOVE the rewards program. We bought our airline tickets for a visit home through the rewards program, and it didn't cost us a penny. I have not had a single problem with my card, and the customer service is great. My husband lost his wallet at one point and they diligently cut the card off and were able to issue us a new card over the weekend! By far the best credit card, and I would recommend it to any of my friends.

I use this card all the time, especially for gas. 2% rewards on gas is an a life saver for me. I mainly use the card for gas and groceries for the rewards program. I have had zero problems with the card, as I consistently make sure to pay it off monthly, and I do not use it for any extraneous purchases (as stated before, groceries and gas), and as such the interest rate is irrelevant to me. I got it as soon as I turned 18, and I'm going on 20 now, and will likely continue to use this card into the foreseeable future. With the great rewards, I can highly recommend it to others as their first card.
November 8, 2012 at 06:45pm
I opened the original Blue Cash card back when the cash back program was "tiered" and you earned 5% on certain purchases (like gasoline and grocery stores) but only after the cardholder reached an annual spending threshold of over $6,500. Thankfully, they changed that not too long after I opened the account (I think Amex realized that their customers weren't too happy with having to reach an annual spending threshold just to earn the 5% max). Instead, they came up with the idea of splitting it into 2 new cards, a Blue Cash "Everyday" and a Blue Cash "Preferred" (both with a simple non-tiered formula). I believe they still offer the old Blue Cash card but I switched my account over to the "Everyday" as soon as it was available (mainly because this one has no annual fee). Now I don't have to worry about cash back restrictions every time I go to use my card, or about having to make sure I'm signed up for those revolving cash back categories every month. This is also the only card I've ever had that gave me 3% on all supermarket purchases and that really comes in handy. I use this card every time I go grocery shopping and it pays off big time (I save the money I earn in cash back bonuses for Christmas every year). They pay existing customers $25 for every friend that is referred and I've earned $75 so far! I highly recommend checking out their "Blue Deal" page online too because customers can save alot of money on their partner deals. All in all, this is a really great card and with one of the best cash back programs around.

I use this card mainly for the rewards. I’ve compared to some others, but most cards seem to be either a flat 1% on everything or 1% on all purchases with a rotating category that is worth 5% for about a month at a time. I feel that the rewards on this particular card are much better than that. 3% on groceries, 2% on gas, 1% on everything else is a much better deal, especially since the vast majority of my purchases are either groceries or gas. Not having an annual fee is basically a must for me to even consider a particular credit card. As for the interest rate, I pay my balance off monthly, so I don’t even notice. Honestly I couldn’t even tell you what my current rate is.
November 1, 2012 at 03:19pm
I have American express Blue and I am very happy with it.The base one percent is four times larger than Discover Card and has a bonus up to five percent when you reach a certain level of spending. On my purchases that do not fall under the normal categories- Grocery, gas, etc.- I only get 1/2 percent cash back. That is still better than many other credit cards out there. My apr is around 18 percent but I always pay my balance off before that kicks in. The reward redemption is good, the minimum cash out as a credit to your account is $25, but they process it very quickly. You can also use the credit for merchandise through their website.

The Blue Cash Everyday Card is one of the best credit cards I have ever had. Their customer service is impeccable. I use my card for everything, so when it goes missing it kind of feels like the world is falling around me. Luckily customer service always have my back. A new card is always mailed to me within a few days of my request for a replacement. There have even been several fradulent charges made to my account. Thankfully customer service was available to correct the situation and reverse the charge. I haven’t even mentioned the best part, you actually get a percentage of the money back that you spend. You really can’t go wrong with card.

I read about this card about 6 months ago when looking for a rewards card. We originally had an Amazon Chase card, which gave us decent rewards in Amazon.com credit, but we wanted to see if we could get something better. Once we got the Amex card, I was intrigued at how amazingly high percentage this card gives back, especially when going grocery shopping. We use this card religiously for everything now and pay the balance off every couple weeks. It took about 2 months for rewards to start showing up (had to call Amex for them for it to show up), but once they did, we are completely satisfied by getting about 50-80$ a month in rewards.

This was one of my first cards. I find that a lot of places don't take American express and ended up letting it go to clear out the clutter. It was easy to get which was nice when I was younger and trying to build my credit up. The cash back that they offer is nice but I found that I earned rewards that added up a little faster with other cards. The rates aren't bad and the customer service is helpful. Overall, this is a nice card to have, and you can often get one with a low credit line to help you get your credit established.

I have the blue cash everyday card from American Express. Though it is not a fancy card it is great for everyday life. There is no annual fee and I earn a ton of cash back since I use it for everyday things like groceries and gas. It has easy to use rewards and I didn't have to enroll in anything it was automatic every time I used my card. The fees are reasonable and competitive. Customer service is always helpful, which is a plus. I have been using this card for almost 5 years now and though I have a few other ones this is the only one that I not only feel comfortable using everyday but make it a point to use everyday!
October 11, 2012 at 02:51pm
My husband and I originally got this card for Costco only purchases since they only allow American Express. We got this one and were so attracted to its ease of use, no annual fee, low APR, and the best part cash back for every dollar you spend. It's a great card and American Express has out of this world great customer service. We had a small issue with an autopay going through twice and they fixed it and put my mind at ease in the process. I recommend this card to anyone who is looking for a great card where you earn a little back as you spend. It's especially great if you pay your balance off in full each month. Highly recommended!
September 27, 2012 at 03:12pm
I am a college student with good credit and this card has been great for me. I got offered 18 months with no interest and 0% APR. They also have 1% cash back, which is a pretty standard feature. I have been very pleased with American express and I also like their rewards program. I feel that when it come to credit cards, American Express is definately above the rest. Their customer service is also great, and they have handled any problem I've had with great ease and have been extremely nice and professional when handling problems. I would definately reccomend this card and more importantly I would definately reccomend American Express as they are a great credit card company with excellent customer service.
