You should have a good shot at approval, as this credit card was designed for people with limited credit history. That, combined with its low annual fee and attractive rewards, is why it’s a great tool for cost-effective credit building. With that being said, if you don’t get approved, you might just want to place a deposit on a no annual fee secured credit card in order to get the credit-improvement ball rolling. Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

What are the incentives or rewards?

You will earn 1.5% cash back on all purchases, and your rewards will not expire. Your earnings can be redeemed for a statement credit, check or gift card. You can also set up an automatic redemption schedule based on the date or a certain amount earned. Hope this helps. If you need more information you can check out our review of the QuicksilverOne Card ( ), and feel free to send any additonal questions our way as well.

The Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards MasterCard is one of the very best credit cards available to people with only a modicum of credit experience, offering rewards terms befitting someone with excellent credit. It provides a competitive cash back earning rate (1.5%) as well as 0% introductory rates for both new purchases and balance transfers. So even though QuicksilverOne does charge a $39 annual fee and a fairly high regular APR in order to defray some of the risk associated with lending to unproven borrowers, it’s still likely to be a great benefit for people who don’t carry a balance and spend at least $2,600 per year. That’s the point more

I like the fact that how there are cash back rewards and that they add up quickly to be used to lower your balance. The Capital One Quick silver One Cash Rewards MasterCard is one of the very best credit cards available to people who has a small credit experience.I initially got this card because I trusted the name brand and liked the prospect of cash rewards back. Getting 1.5% cash back on all my credit card purchases is a REALLY nice perk and is hard to beat. It's unlimited so you can use it as much as you want, and really adds up over time, even on small purchases here more

This card is ideal for people with limited history or lower credit scores. If you pay on time the first 5-6 months, you'll see a huge boost in CLI, which was a nice surprise in my opinion. Customer service is also some of the best I've seen, and I've been put through the ringer with several other companies. I was put in touch with someone right away on the phones with Capital One and had my questions answered immediately. I highly recommend them and their services. The APR on this card is a smidge high, but if your credit is good enough, shoot for the regular Quicksilver to avoid paying more

I got this card because I was trying to establish credit and it is doing a good job of that. I like how there are cash back rewards and find that they add up quickly and like that they can be used to lower your balance. I do wish that it did not have an annual fee. The card itself is good if you are responsible with credit and capital one is very good about giving credit limit increases. I have not had to deal with customer service as of yet since the online customer account has everything that you could possibly need.

Getting 1.5% cash back on all my credit card purchases is a REALLY nice perk and is hard to beat. It's unlimited so you can use it as much as you want, and really adds up over time, even on small purchases here and there. The interest rate is pretty reasonable but I always pay my full balance off, so the main benefit to using the card is getting the cash back for me. Cash back is better than just earning points or discounts like so many other credit cards do, more

Once my family had gotten our credit up to a point where it wasn't scary to look at it, it felt like a very important achievement. Furthermore, and better, it opened a lot of doors for us in terms of credit cards. Up until this point, our credit card was a secured, low-limit thing that we basically only used for emergencies, or to use and immediately pay, to boost our credit. This is the card we decided on once we had the option to get a card that was more useful and rewarding. Now that we've established our pattern of use (pay off what we spend right away), the relatively more

This card is decent, it was the second card I got after rebuilding my credit and not having cards for many years. I would say it is a good "starter" card. The initial credit limit was on the low side, but I was enrolled in the "credit steps" program that guaranteed a credit line increase after paying on time for three months. My credit limit was more than doubled after the 3 months so I was very happy with that. The 1% cash back reward is ok. I find I benefit more from the travel cards than the cash back ones. The Capital One app on the phone is very more

My credit isn't very good, after some small mistakes in the past, but it's not as bad as it used to be and I've been working on really improving it. I'd never had a credit card in the past, but I wanted to slowly build up my credit, so I got this card. Some of the features are really nice - the cash back is a great little plus, it adds up after a few months. The Uber credit isn't something I see myself using, so it's wasted on me, which is a shame. The annual fee is a pain, but I understand why it's there and it's not as more

I got it because it was one of the few I qualified for at the time. I would definitely improve the rewards structure. 1% cash back on all purchases is pretty pitiful when compared to most of the other cards out there. I would recommend it to others who have average credit looking to improve their credit score. I started out with a $750 limit and am now over $5000. It has done wonders for my credit score and for that I am thankful. I have not had to deal with the customer service so I cannot comment on that. However, the app is great.

This card was great when my credit history was poor. Yes, it has an annual fee but as long as you use it enough, the fee should be covered by your cash back amount! This card is a great way to build credit history and have a little bit of your hard spent, hard earned money, come back to you!

I like this card for the most part. It's a great card for building credit while also getting cash back. My limit started at $500 and has increased on its own to the $1,500 mark. My first year was interest free as well. The cash back has been reasonable and the customer service has always been very responsive and helpful.

If you are looking for a valuable credit card that offers you great benefits, then this might be the one you can consider. The sign up process was super easy and hassle-free.One of the best thing about this card is that it does not charge anything for accessing credit reports. The card offers many cash back offers that are really handy in situations where you are running short of money. I really love this card.

This is one of the best credit card in the market for beginners. It comes with visa which is most widely accepted credit card and a free credit report. I have started earning cashback.I can easily track my credit score, which is an added benefit with this card.I am happy with their customer service.

This is a very good card to have for those with subpar credit. It is a valuable card, Capital one is a very fair and reasonable company to deal with. A few years back I fell behind a little with them and they made every effort to help me pay off the past due balance and return to being on time. I am very grateful to have this card, especially for emergencies

This is hands down one of the best credit cards I have ever had and actually my preference when it comes to needing to use one. It is a great asset if you are looking into building up your credit and I literally have no complaints about it whatsoever. If you’re in need of a new credit card I couldn’t recommend this one enough.

This is one of my favorite cards to use, the rewards are just a straight 1.5% cash back on all purchases without limitations or miles to redeem. You can use the cash back to put towards your total balance, a specific purchase, or request a check back. The initial no interest term was great and really got me used to using the card for all my everyday purchases. I've been able to purchase a few special items for myself with the cash back rewards and have even used the cash back towards my payment during a month when things were tight.
The interest rate is pretty high but as long more

This was one of the first cards that I acquired when beginning to build my credit. The thing that was most interesting about this card was its initial No Interest term offering. I had already had a a Capital One Platunum card with a pretty low interest rate, so I was already pretty familiar with Capital One's inner workings. The rewards that I receive on this card are outstanding! I use it for pretty much everything and pay it off on a weekly basis. I've received regular credit limit increases every 6-8 months, and the few times that I've requested them.

This is my very first credit card, I've had it for over a year. I got it to help me boost my credit some. It works great, managing it online is very easy, and it was easy to get. I have had no problems and would recommend to anyone starting out with credit cards!

i have this card and its great for starters. my limit right is for 1500. starts at 500 after six months get more. 1.5 cash back is cool. the only thing i do not like is the feel of the card.the card is to thin and it feel like it wont last to long if you use it to often. the mobile app is great pay you bill and chose your rewards. really easy to get if you get a letter in the mail take the offer

The Capital One Quicksilver Card is a great card for slow credit. I applied and got approved right away with a score under 600. I got an initial credit limit of $500 and thats not so bad. This card has rewards too, you cant beat that. Low APR and Interest rates are a plus. The more you spend the more rewards you earn. You get a credit line increase after the first 5 on time payments. Something to look forward to I cant wait. This card does have a small annual fee. You also get credit tracker with your card account as well. GREAT FOR STARTERS.

I really like the Capital One Quicksilver card for me. It's a visa so it's widely accepted everywhere, and it comes with a free credit report. And when I say free, I mean it's actually free. You simply click it from your account and bam, there's your number. I really love it's benefits too, there's no limit to how much you can earn, and it's for absolutely everything you buy. No more worrying about which categories you have to do each month. This way it doesn't drive you to spend more than you usually would simply to get the reward. And you can either have the cash applied to your more

I really have had no problems with this credit card. I love that Capital One cards are Visa, because I find that is the most widely accepted credit card. I took this card with me when I went traveling and it was very hassle-free. I simply notified Capital One that I was leaving the country and for what time period. I enjoy being able to track my credit score, which is an added benefit of having this card also. I have the Quicksilver card with no annual fee, and I really enjoy the benefits with it. It is simple to cash my rewards in too.

This card, as well as the company, to have business with. I applied and was approved for a platinum mastercard in May, but was converted in October after five ontime payments, which was amazing, by the way, and I definitely plan on keeping up a good payment history to see if there are upgrades available in the future. I have had nothing but positive encounters with this company. Before I got this card, I have tried for two years to get approved for a capital one credit card, so I was ecstatic when I got the email saying that my new credit card was mailed. The people seem to take more

Okay first off, there are TWO types of Quicksilver. One is for EXCELLENT (no annual fee) credit and the other is for FAIR ($39 annual fee) credit. Usually to be qualified you must be between 550-690 . i was at 620 with a $500 limit. Capital One is an amazing creditor! This card gives you cash back for all your purchases. You can redeem them back in credit use or receive it as a check. They INCREASE your limit after 5 consecutive ON-TIME payments. And the customer service is great! They answered my questions and helped set up my online account to use auto pay! I recommend it for a more

I really enjoy my Capital One Quicksilver card. I use it for most of my purchases that are leisure. Its a really nice card and was easy to understand upon getting it. Signing up was also easy. The rewards are pretty good, and for the things I do with it its perfect for me. I would recommend this card to a friend any day. I think its a nice card that anyone can use and get the benefits from it. I suggest any and all check out this card. If its not for you right now then keep it in mind, because it may be right for you later.

I love my Capital One Quicksilver! I use it for all of my purchases, including my rent and utilities - I simply pay my balance each month and get a 1.5% discount on everything I buy. That's $15 back for every thousand I spend, which adds up. I've had the card since February, and I have already been awarded a higher credit limit than I started with on this card. I definitely recommend selecting this one, if you are in the market for a new card.

Love this card. Signing up was easy as well as adding it to my current Capital One card account page. I signed up for this card for the rewards. Other Capital One options such as Journey did not offer as good of rewards, but did offer 6 months no interest. I quickly racked up points with this card which was I became very happy with. I was initially given more credit than my previous Capital One Card that I've had for 8 years and has the chance to be raised faster and for more than my previous card. That in itself makes this card better. The $39 fee with this more

I started out with a different version of this card but was eventually upgraded. I was not initially thrilled with the $39 annual fee to use the card but the rewards are really great. I use this card for nearly everything and then pay it off at the end of the statement cycle so I earn maximum rewards. Being able to choose how to receive your rewards is great as well - I personally have it set to go towards my statement once I hit $50. Also, my credit card information was stolen at one point and Capital One notified me immediately and it was handled with minimum hassle. I more

i had the QuickSilverOne MasterCard and i wasn't happy because of the $39 a year annual fee, to me that means this Card was costing me $3.25 each month for 12 months just to have it, so i called CAP ONE and i asked them to convert this Card to their JOURNEY VISA Card that has 1.25% Cash Back and NO annual fee even though i am NOT a Student and they did it, now the JOURNEY VISA Card Cost me nothing a Year, i also changed the Design of the JOURNEY VISA Card and now it doesn't say JOURNEY it says PLATINUM VISA Card and is Silver...

I personally love this Capital one Quiksilver one card. It is excepted almost anywhere that I travel. I have definitely been racking up major points lately. I've had an excellent experience with the Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards card so far. I used the cash rewards for a $100 Barnes & Noble gift card that was delivered within a week after I traded in my rewards dollars. The design of the card is thin and sleek and has a good feel about it when used for daily purchases. Also, the 0% interest for 12 months really helped me out of a situation where I was being charged a very high amount of interest by another credit card, and I was able to transfer the balance over to this card and pay it down without any further more
