The Capital One Venture Rewards card is perfect for traveler's. The card offers 2% rewards on all purchases which is a rare find in cards today. There is a very nice sign-up bonus for new accounts and plenty of traveler friendly rewards and perks. With low rates and no foreign transaction fee, the card is one of the best available for those on the go.

Cost:

This card is great if you travel a lot.
New accounts have a $0 introductory annual fee for the entire first year which will save you a lot of money compared to cards that charge large fees. It also has 40,000 bonus miles. There is a $0 more

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card could be considered a traveler's favorite credit card. On the surface, the credit card appears to offer travelers a great opportunity to earn rewards while traveling and making everyday purchases. To see if the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card will make your travels easier, let's find out more about what this credit card has to offer and if it's flexible enough to take you around the world.

Pros

Capital One has prided itself on being the no hassle reward credit card company, by providing their cardholders with exclusive features. The credit card can earn you a bonus of 40,000 miles as soon as more

I like the rewards on the Capitol One Venture Rewards card. 40,000 bonus miles after only $3000 in purchases as well as the 2x miles AND it’s good on any airline. I know other cards tend to lock you into one airline. For someone who travels a lot it sounds like a really great deal. The APR is high but should not be a concern if you pay your bill every month, which is the best way to deal with these rewards card.

I have been very pleased with the card so far. I like to travel, so earning rewards that can be converted into free vacation fun is a huge perk. The interest rates are comparable to other cards. The alerts help me stay informed and organized. The credit tracker is one of the best things about the service. Overall, I have been very happy with this card. I would certainly recommend the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card.

The Capital One Venture rewards credit card is just average. New members get no annual fee for the first year which is nice. The credit tracker is useful. It allows you to see your credit score at any time. If you travel then this card is worth it because of the 40k in bonus miles that you get once you spend $3,000 in the first three months. Also, the miles do not expire. Overall, it does not suit me too well but for others it may be worth it.

So if you travel a lot, this would be a great card. But otherwise, I would highly recommend looking at other cards.
The 40,000 mile bonus sounds great, but you have to spend $3,000 in three months to qualify. And that 40,000 only equals $400. So if you're charging $3,000 anyway, that's great. Otherwise, you'll just feel compelled to spend more, which is probably the idea.
A $59 fee and 20% interest seems kinda steep, especially when some companies like AmEx are offering NO annual fees. But you get what you pay for, and there are a lot of traveling perks. Visa lounges in airports are NICE, a lot better than competitors, more

I do not have the card yet but I was about to apply when I came accross a review stating that the venture rewards card would only erase an amount if it was the exact amount of the flight, hotel, ect. If you come accross this review please let me know if this is true. When I called and asked customer service about it they told me they could not tell me if this is true or not until I become a card member which I thought was a bunch of BS.

I first applied for the Capital One Venture credit card to get better rewards on travel and it certainly has paid off. When you first join, depending on your credit level, you're given extra reward points that can be used to get credit back to your account or a check in the mail or other retail gift cards. I've always chosen to get credit back to my card to help pay off my balance, it's like free cash and it's super fast and easy. I always use the card to purchase plane tickets and hotel rooms and it's been great to have the ability to get reward points on any more

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card has some great things going for it! It is definitely a benefit that you accumulate 2 miles per dollar spent and that you can get a bonus of 20,000 miles if you spend $2000 in the first 3 months, which honestly isn't that hard to do. It is also great that the miles NEVER expire! This is great because I would rather save up and actually use them rather than having them go to waste. It is also great that you can actually fly on any airline you want and stay in any hotel you want rather than Capital One designated locations. The more

I have a capital one venture the card is great. It offers low payments and will help improve credit score which majority does but this one is I preferred as long as you make your payments on time. Interest is on the high side that would be the only down flaw of this card. It has good customer service but I prefer to use the online features to pay bill another plus. You get credit increases every 6 months to a year as long as you pay bill and don’t go over your limit. The fees aren’t bad either. I love my card.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit card is a well-rounded travel credit card. Yes, you have a $59 fee after the first year, but using the card for one week-long car rental will save you that much just by not having to buy the extra collision, damage, and loss coverage. In addition, avoiding the foreign transaction fees will typically save 3% the other cards I have charge me when I go to Mexico or another foreign country.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is great if you travel a lot. With rewards that have no blackout dates, miles that don’t expire, and no limits on the amount of miles that you can earn is a huge plus. But if you’re like me that only travel’s maybe two times a year it may not be worth it. The annual fee after a year isn’t some thing that works for me. I’m also not thrilled with the $35 late fee. The cards I have only have a $20 late fee. The APR 13.9%-20.9% is a little high compared to other cards. Not a card that would work for more

The first thing that I noticed about this card is that the miles never expire. I really appreciate this because sometimes I don't travel for a year and sometimes I travel multiple times a year so the security is great on this card. I also like that there is no annual fee for the first year. This will increase my chances of getting this card right away.

I have this card 2nd time. The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is not cheap but good. I thinks that's the only thing that makes me not so happy when I use it. I like to use it when I travel. It has no limits and no expiration on my miles. It's such a fun to watch the miles piling up! Seriously. Here is the one benefit I like most: you get 2 miles per dollar on every purchase, every day. I can redeem my miles for any travel expense. I like to email customer service when I think I have a problem. They always help.

capital one venture credit card looks like a good one to have, especially when you own it for the first year, so many benefits but not so many rewards except if you are a frequent flier. then your rewards will be worth getting it. aside from that it is just like almost all other credit cards i know about. also it's good to note that the interest rate is slightly higher than the one i am using now with NASA.

In the past I have had a lot of issues with credit cards. I got into some trouble a while back and just recently applied for a capital one credit card. I have a small limit and as usual I am not happy with the card. I had to pay 49 dollars just to get the card which I thought was my yearly fee. Then upon getting my statement for the first time I was charged a 28 dollar fee that I was told was my annual fee. Well what was this 49 dollars I paid for? I’m not a fan.

I have had this card for a few years now and have nothing bad to say about it. Although it does have a small annual fee, the 2 points or miles per dollar spent well make up for that if you use your credit card on a regular basis. There is no better card out there where I know I am getting the same points on every purchase and do not need to worry about special promotions to get it. At the point that I want to redeem the points, it is as easy as anyone would want. For me, it is as simple as finding a travel transaction on more

This is a terrific card for anyone who does a lot of flying. I also like the fact that there is no annual fee for the first year. The interest rate for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is slightly higher than my primary credit card, but is still very reasonable.

This card has been wonderful! I use it on regular monthly expenditures like gas, groceries, etc. I've used my air miles for at least three different vacations in the last three years, as well as redeeming points for gift cards. Very easy to redeem points for flights, rental cars, and hotel stays. I've never had any issues with using this card.

I'm glad you can redeem points for gift cards. I don't have much use for airline miles. Gift cards make great Christmas and Birthday gifts. The 24 hour roadside assistance would be very useful to me.

I've actually applied for this card before. Shame I have miserable credit. Oh well. That's life. Compared to my current card (a secured Unity Visa, I believe it's called), the interest rate is about half of that, and I don't get any bonuses. With this card, I was hooked once I saw the air miles attached to it. Being a frequent traveler, I was quite interested in reducing my airline fees, as well as in the zero interest on foreign transactions. I'm trying to build up my credit so I can afford this card, honestly, just for the features! Being a foreign driver as well, I enjoy the perks of more

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a great card for those who spend and those who travel. Without limits and without expiration on your miles, I'm working to save up for something big. It's a really big cash in reward for those who wait. I just use this card for everything and watch the miles keep adding toward that big trip. I'm still in my first year as a card holder, but I am not looking forward to that $59 annual fee for the second year. I think overall, it will still reap more reward than cost in the end.

GREAT CARD!!! awesome rewards and absolutely amazing customer service. Once I ordered some clothing items online, when I received them they turned out to be knockoffs From china. The company I ordered from refused to issue a refund. SO I called capital one and they took care of everything, the representative was very understanding and helpful, my account was credited back immediately. I would strongly recommend this card to those looking for a card from a trustworthy company with great customer service. It does carry a $59 annual fee after the first year but it's worth every penny, you can't put a price on quality.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card offers some pretty attractive rewards for those who travel frequently. The purchase bonus during the first three months is quite generous. It does carry an annual fee of $59 after the first year, but considering the value of the rewards it’s really not a big issue. I have the Quick Silver card and I love the rewards that Capital One offers to its customers.

The Capital One Venture Rewards credit card is great because the annual fee is $0 for the first year. I do not like that it jumps up to $59 on the second year, though. I think the bonus program is exceptional for travelers, because spending $2,000 gets you 20,000 bonus miles, which is fantastic. The downside, of course, is that you have to rack up $2,000 within the first 3 months to get it. But there are no limits on the miles you can receive after that, so it all works out. Overall, the card's value is excellent.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a great card for people who like to earn miles and earn them fast. You can get 20,000 bonus miles when you spend $2,000 on purchases within the first 3 months, that's huge and even bigger is that you get 2 miles per dollar on every purchase, every day. This adds up amazingly fast and you can redeem your miles for any travel expense and not just tickets which is not offered by most cards. I live many states away from my family and friends, so I need a travel rewards credit card! The Capital One Venture Rewards card is awesome. Being a regular traveler I always wanted a traveler credit card that would help me earn some miles and also save up on gas. I bought the card just before my trip to Orlando so that I could make the most of the initial 20,000 bonus miles and I ended up redeeming it. I frequently travel to see my sister who is in NC and so I would make the most of the card in terms of reward points. The annual fee is extremely high but I guess the travel compensation we get is a pretty good deal for that. I always check if there is a $0 liability fee more

My girlfriend and I were planning a trip out to the Sonoma/Napa area to do some wine tasting and I decided to apply for the Capital One Venture card. I had read some fantastic reviews, did my homework and was very pleased. Upon receiving the card, my better half had informed me that there were over three dozen wineries that participated in the perks program! This was huge, the fifty nine dollar annual fee seemed trivial in comparison to the amount of money it saved me in five days and the points added up quick. Overall I am extremely pleased with this card and would recommend it to anyone who more

Got this card for all of our wedding purchases. I love it! The miles add up very quickly and what you can redeem them for is great. Account credit, cash back, or merchandise. The only downer is the yearly fee but I suppose you have to pay a little to get all of the goodies. Online banking is very easy to use. I'm able to make payments straight out of my bank account. I've thoroughly enjoyed this card and would highly recommend for anyone that would be actively using it.

I really like the Capital One Venture Card, as it has a few additional perks over the VentureOne card which I feel make it worth it. While this card has an annual fee of $59, it's still kind of low compared to other cards that offer higher rewards. You get 2% back on all your purchases. No categories to activate like with Chase Freedom, no limits to what you can earn. There is also a $100 sign up bonus which you can redeem towards travel when you $1,000 on purchases within the first three months. It's a little harder to obtain with other cards, but I would argue that to more

This is my favorite card that I use right now. The Capital One Venture card is a little different than the VentureOne card, because this card does have an annual fee. In exchange you get 2% back on every single purchase. I did the math, you have to spend about $8,000 a year to break even with your annual fee, so if you put more than that on your card every year then consider using the Venture Card instead of VentureOne. There are some first year bonuses, including the waiving of the annual fee the first year and a $100 in rewards points when you spend your first $1,000. Which more

The first thing I noticed about the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit card was the rewards program is only helpful to someone who travels often. If that's the case then hooray because you can get lots of bonus miles for the purchases you make. I thought it was interesting that the annual fee is $0 for the first year and then $59 after that. If there was no annual fee this card might hold up better. A nice plus to the card is that the APR rates seem a lot lower than other cards such as the Citi Simplicity card. I've also never heard of a credit card coming with more
