capital one venture credit card looks like a good one to have, especially when you own it for the first year, so many benefits but not so many rewards except if you are a frequent flier. then your rewards will be worth getting it. aside from that it is just like almost all other credit cards i know about. also it's good to note that the interest rate is slightly higher than the one i am using now with NASA.

In the past I have had a lot of issues with credit cards. I got into some trouble a while back and just recently applied for a capital one credit card. I have a small limit and as usual I am not happy with the card. I had to pay 49 dollars just to get the card which I thought was my yearly fee. Then upon getting my statement for the first time I was charged a 28 dollar fee that I was told was my annual fee. Well what was this 49 dollars I paid for? I’m not a fan.

This card has some good things going for it. It has no annual fee for the first year, no reward limits, and no balance transfer fees. If you travel a lot, this card is great for earning travel rewards that have no blackout dates. You can also earn a nice 20,000 point bonus if you spend 2,000 dollars in the first three months. After the first year, there is a 59 dollar annual fee, which I didn't like, other than that, this is a great card for travel.

I have had this card for a few years now and have nothing bad to say about it. Although it does have a small annual fee, the 2 points or miles per dollar spent well make up for that if you use your credit card on a regular basis. There is no better card out there where I know I am getting the same points on every purchase and do not need to worry about special promotions to get it. At the point that I want to redeem the points, it is as easy as anyone would want. For me, it is as simple as finding a travel transaction on more

This is a terrific card for anyone who does a lot of flying. I also like the fact that there is no annual fee for the first year. The interest rate for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is slightly higher than my primary credit card, but is still very reasonable.

This card has been wonderful! I use it on regular monthly expenditures like gas, groceries, etc. I've used my air miles for at least three different vacations in the last three years, as well as redeeming points for gift cards. Very easy to redeem points for flights, rental cars, and hotel stays. I've never had any issues with using this card.

I'm glad you can redeem points for gift cards. I don't have much use for airline miles. Gift cards make great Christmas and Birthday gifts. The 24 hour roadside assistance would be very useful to me.

I've actually applied for this card before. Shame I have miserable credit. Oh well. That's life. Compared to my current card (a secured Unity Visa, I believe it's called), the interest rate is about half of that, and I don't get any bonuses. With this card, I was hooked once I saw the air miles attached to it. Being a frequent traveler, I was quite interested in reducing my airline fees, as well as in the zero interest on foreign transactions. I'm trying to build up my credit so I can afford this card, honestly, just for the features! Being a foreign driver as well, I enjoy the perks of more

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a great card for those who spend and those who travel. Without limits and without expiration on your miles, I'm working to save up for something big. It's a really big cash in reward for those who wait. I just use this card for everything and watch the miles keep adding toward that big trip. I'm still in my first year as a card holder, but I am not looking forward to that $59 annual fee for the second year. I think overall, it will still reap more reward than cost in the end.

GREAT CARD!!! awesome rewards and absolutely amazing customer service. Once I ordered some clothing items online, when I received them they turned out to be knockoffs From china. The company I ordered from refused to issue a refund. SO I called capital one and they took care of everything, the representative was very understanding and helpful, my account was credited back immediately. I would strongly recommend this card to those looking for a card from a trustworthy company with great customer service. It does carry a $59 annual fee after the first year but it's worth every penny, you can't put a price on quality.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card offers some pretty attractive rewards for those who travel frequently. The purchase bonus during the first three months is quite generous. It does carry an annual fee of $59 after the first year, but considering the value of the rewards it’s really not a big issue. I have the Quick Silver card and I love the rewards that Capital One offers to its customers.

The Capital One Venture Rewards credit card is great because the annual fee is $0 for the first year. I do not like that it jumps up to $59 on the second year, though. I think the bonus program is exceptional for travelers, because spending $2,000 gets you 20,000 bonus miles, which is fantastic. The downside, of course, is that you have to rack up $2,000 within the first 3 months to get it. But there are no limits on the miles you can receive after that, so it all works out. Overall, the card's value is excellent.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a great card for people who like to earn miles and earn them fast. You can get 20,000 bonus miles when you spend $2,000 on purchases within the first 3 months, that's huge and even bigger is that you get 2 miles per dollar on every purchase, every day. This adds up amazingly fast and you can redeem your miles for any travel expense and not just tickets which is not offered by most cards. Oh, and what's really cool is the Visa Signature card gets you special access and preferred seating at events like the Super Bowl and Olympic Games, how more

I have had no problems with my Capital One Venture Rewards credit card. The interest rates are fairly low. I don't use it that much but when I do it is always simple and easy. It really is the best credit card I have ever had. I really love this company and they have great customer service as well.

I live many states away from my family and friends, so I need a travel rewards credit card! The Capital One Venture Rewards card is awesome. It is easy to earn and redeem travel credits, and the online interface is so easy to use. I would definitely recommend this card for the frequent traveler, especially if you’re always on different airlines!

I signed up for this card a few years ago and I am glad I did! If you are someone who likes to travel a great deal, this card is perfect for you. I use it for just about everything and the miles add up quite quickly. I have already been able to go on a few extra trips for some r&r. Great customer service too!

Being a regular traveler I always wanted a traveler credit card that would help me earn some miles and also save up on gas. I bought the card just before my trip to Orlando so that I could make the most of the initial 20,000 bonus miles and I ended up redeeming it. I frequently travel to see my sister who is in NC and so I would make the most of the card in terms of reward points. The annual fee is extremely high but I guess the travel compensation we get is a pretty good deal for that. I always check if there is a $0 liability fee more

My girlfriend and I were planning a trip out to the Sonoma/Napa area to do some wine tasting and I decided to apply for the Capital One Venture card. I had read some fantastic reviews, did my homework and was very pleased. Upon receiving the card, my better half had informed me that there were over three dozen wineries that participated in the perks program! This was huge, the fifty nine dollar annual fee seemed trivial in comparison to the amount of money it saved me in five days and the points added up quick. Overall I am extremely pleased with this card and would recommend it to anyone who more

Got this card for all of our wedding purchases. I love it! The miles add up very quickly and what you can redeem them for is great. Account credit, cash back, or merchandise. The only downer is the yearly fee but I suppose you have to pay a little to get all of the goodies. Online banking is very easy to use. I'm able to make payments straight out of my bank account. I've thoroughly enjoyed this card and would highly recommend for anyone that would be actively using it.

I really like the Capital One Venture Card, as it has a few additional perks over the VentureOne card which I feel make it worth it. While this card has an annual fee of $59, it's still kind of low compared to other cards that offer higher rewards. You get 2% back on all your purchases. No categories to activate like with Chase Freedom, no limits to what you can earn. There is also a $100 sign up bonus which you can redeem towards travel when you $1,000 on purchases within the first three months. It's a little harder to obtain with other cards, but I would argue that to more

This is my favorite card that I use right now. The Capital One Venture card is a little different than the VentureOne card, because this card does have an annual fee. In exchange you get 2% back on every single purchase. I did the math, you have to spend about $8,000 a year to break even with your annual fee, so if you put more than that on your card every year then consider using the Venture Card instead of VentureOne. There are some first year bonuses, including the waiving of the annual fee the first year and a $100 in rewards points when you spend your first $1,000. Which more

The first thing I noticed about the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit card was the rewards program is only helpful to someone who travels often. If that's the case then hooray because you can get lots of bonus miles for the purchases you make. I thought it was interesting that the annual fee is $0 for the first year and then $59 after that. If there was no annual fee this card might hold up better. A nice plus to the card is that the APR rates seem a lot lower than other cards such as the Citi Simplicity card. I've also never heard of a credit card coming with more

The Capital One Venture card can be a nice card to have if you are a frequent traveler, as they do offer a nice incentive package. They begin with no annual fee, but this is traded in after one year for a $59 per year fee. Another good feature is that Venture belongs to the Visa family, which is accepted almost everywhere. Meanwhile, I enjoy the Chase Freedom card, which is another Visa backed card. Their rewards package applies with general purchases. When spending $500 in your first three months, Chase will give you $100 cash back. In addition, Chase give 5% cash back every three months when purchasing from more

The Capital One Venture Rewards card is similar to my US Airways premier world mastercard except the initial bonus is lower at 10,000 miles versus 40,000 and the interest rate is lower. If you don’t travel all that much but still wants a miles card, then Capital One is definitely better with the lower interest rate and lower annual fee, but if you travel a lot and want great bonuses then the US Airways card is best. I do have a different Capital One card and love the image card feature which lets you customize the image on your card to any picture that you own. It’s great for parents more

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a fantastic card for anyone who travels, for personal or business reasons, or even both. As someone who travels for work, this is great for me. I'm required to submit all my receipts every two weeks for reimbursements. I would rack up points so quick! The annual fee doesn't seem too great though, even if they "waive" it the first year. Roadside, travel, and emergency assistance are recent features of cards and I think it's great that things like this are offered. It should be automatic, in my opinion. For the frequent traveler, this is a fantastic card.

I love my Capital One® Venture reward card. I’m the type of person that just has to shop, and for the longest time, I had been getting nothing back in return. I was spending thousands of dollars each year on my shopping habit, and nothing to show for it. So I got the venture rewards card, and started to see a return on all my purchases. I have a low interest rate, and I get a free plane ticket with all the reward points I earn. My vacation is paid for every year, thanks to my venture card.

I got my Venture card about a year ago, and I love it! My credit rating was good (not perfect for sure), and I qualified for a 5000 dollars credit limit. So if your credit score isn't perfect, apply anyway and you may qualify. The Venture card has no annual fee for the first year and earns you points for travel. I've already taken one trip to the coast with the points I've earned so far, and I’m almost able to pay for another trip with my points. Also, I received 10,000 points just for signing up! I highly recommend this card if you love to travel!

I love the fact that I simply can pay my bills with this card and still be able to get 30,000 bonus points to use for things such as traveling, if you like to travel this is definitely the card to get. The Capital One card usually offers a nice bonus for simply signing up and has low interest than most cards, this card requires a little better credit than most but its worth trying to get! I fully trust Capital One and believe them to be one of the best credit card companies over the many. They provide incredible customer service and have been very generous in the past. more

I've only had this Capital One card for about a year or so, but what is nice about it is the first year of owning it I didn't have to pay an annual fee. You do have to pay a fee of $59 after the first year, but that is okay as it's still lower than most annual fees. I mostly only use this card to pay my bills, but it is nice to get enough points to travel. So if you like to travel this card is great to have. Someday I plan on going to Hawaii when I get enough points!

I have been with Capital One for about 4 years and have had very few problems. The only issue I used to have was when I would mail the bill it seemed to take forever to process and I got a few fees. I started paying online now and have no issues. There is great customer service and the cards annual fee is pretty fair. There have been options to increase credit, and I have had no problem doing that. It is expected just about everywhere and the statements are very clear. I am billed the same time every month so it is predictable. I have been able to accumulate more

I have had this credit card for over 2 years and I really love it. I love the rewards I get from it and I have gotten a few upgrades at hotels and restaurants just for using the card. The roadside assistance has come in handy for me before, too! My husband travels a lot, for business and pleasure, and we have racked up some reward points to use on our vacation. My husband's family lives in Europe, so the no foreign transaction fees were really something that stood out to me. I have been using my Capital one Venture card for a while. It has definitely been my best experience with a credit card. It is especially great if you travel a lot. I have collected a ton of airline miles by just using my credit card. Since I travel weekly for business this card basically pays for itself. The company also rewards you the longer you own your card and if you are consistent with paying your bills. I started out with a low credit limit and it keeps being raised by using it often and being good at paying the bills. I also had an unfortunate experience with identity more

I just got my Venture Rewards Card in the mail today! I have had credit cards that gave me airline miles before, but none were as good a deal as the venture rewards card. What I usually do is use my credit card for all of my purchases in a given month, then pay off the amount due with my checking account. Needless to say, I accrue a decent amount of miles. I spent around a thousand dollars on month on bills and groceries. At 2 miles per dollar spent that's two thousand miles. I will post a follow up review in a few months after I have been using more

I have had this Capital One credit card for quite some time now. It was my first credit card and is still the main card that I use. I generally use my credit card for all of my purchases and pay it off every time the bill comes due. I began with a lower credit limit and Capital One raised my limit as I built credit with them. I love the website's ease of use, and how helpful the company is. This card is relatively new to me, I signed up because when researching cards online it received positive feed back from Money Magazine 'Best of' issue 3 years in a row. Not to mention the funny commercials you always see on TV with Jimmy Fallon. Anyway, I got it about 6 weeks ago and so far I am happy with my decision. The $59 annual fee is pretty standard and actually lower than what some competitors are charging. Plus and with this one you get much more benefits. I travel a lot so having a card that racks up miles quickly is very nice. I have never had a problem with any airline not accepting the miles. Another card that I have I've had to fight with the airline over the miles. Not with the Venture Card. It does have a yearly fee after the first free year. It's $59 as of now. While that is a disadvantage, it's one of the best miles cards out there that most people can get, and as I mentioned, it's easy to accumulate miles. My interest rate is very reasonable for a credit card, but that entirely depends upon your credit. more

Love this card. Have to travel a lot for business and pleasure (moved to the states from the UK so I'm back over there a lot) so the reward points rack up pretty quickly. The fact you can use them for pretty much any travel expense is a great addition and I've never found that there was a flight or airline I could not use the points on. The annual fee is much what you'd expect from any other card of this level as are the rates, though you do have to remember that missing a payment or being late or whatever will damage your relationship with the company and more

This Capital One Venture card is the higher rewards version of the Venture One card. The main difference is that there is an annual fee of $59, but you get 2% in rewards instead of 1.25% with the free card. Both cards are very similar. I actually started with the Venture One card, and after realizing I was spending well beyond $8,000 on the card each year, I'd benefit more from having the Venture card even with the fee! The fee is waived for the first year, but as long as you're spending moer than 8K the card's fee pays for itself. This card is identical to the Venture One more
