I love my venture card. Not only does it have a big spending limit but it also gives me two miles on an airplane for every dollar I spend. It wouldn't be good for someone who doesn't like to travel much or often but for someone who likes to explore and go on planes as often as possible it's literally a dream come true. The fee's aren't the best but they're manageable and you don't have to pay them often if you keep up with your spending. Not to mention the card looks great!

I got the Capital One Venture a little over a year ago, and so far I like it. I love having flexibility in regards to where my points are spent, and the fact that my points do ot expire. Since I use the card for business transactions I am able to earn points quickly.

I do not like the annual fee. Annual fees are outdated and annoying for consumers. I also do not like that the card gives the same rewards for everything. I also do not like that the card does not include an introductory interest period. This is surprising due to the fact so many cards do. I do like that the card has no blackout dates. I also like that the miles do not expire. I also like that the Capital One provides you with your credit score. This makes it easy to track the effects of your spending habits on your credit.

Capital One overall is a fantastic credit card company to deal with and their Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is no exception to that. Starting with the basics, you have a low interest rate, low fees, and a crazy list of benefits. That's really the best part of this card.

Tons of rewards. Lots of possible points towards travel, concierge service, emergency services, and even rental insurance! If you're a traveler you'll be hard pressed to find a better card. Even if you don't travel a ton, this card has so many benefits it's more than worth it. This card easily gets a 10/10.

This is a wonderful card. My boyfriend and I have both applied for one now. We love the rewards program and how flexible the redemption options can be. We are saving our points for Christmas! All in all it is a great card—we love the low interest rates as well, but the rewards are most definitely the best feature of this credit card.

I heard about this card though a friend because they knew I was traveling a lot. I saw the great perks of mileage rewards and decided to sign up. I was a little disappointed there was a annual fee on the 2nd year of $59, but overall the travel rewards made up for it. Overall I have enjoyed using this card, and have never had any problems with customer service. The 24 hour road assistance actually saved me big time 4 months ago when I was traveling late at night. I like everything but the annual fee...

The most appealing aspect of the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is of course the 2x miles on every single purchase. Even my Discover Card does not offer points on just any kind of purchase. The added bonus of 40,000 points is one of the best offers that I have seen in addition to the points not expiring. A huge disadvantage for me is the $59 annual fee after the 1st year. There are so many credit cards like my Discover that do not charge an annual fee so I don't see any advantage is having an annual fee.

Because of my job, my husband and I travel a lot. Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a great card for travelers like myself to have. I love the fact that miles do not expire and there are no black out dates. And the customer service is great. I had a problem the other day with making the payment for my Capital One Credit Card. I told them that last month my account showed that I payed but than the payment did not go through. The manager at Capital One fixed everything and canceled the the fee for not paying on time. The customer service representative were very nice more

I travel a lot, and I almost always use a credit card instead of my bank card when I do, so this card is perfect for me. The miles always seem to add up quickly. And the fact that there are no black out dates is hugely important. I've had the card for less than a year, and I'm not thrilled about the fact that there will now be an annual fee of $59 (not the mentioned $35 on this page), but it's still totally worth it. The APR is pretty low as well, but I always pay it off anyway.

Compared with my basic Bank of America card, I am not digging the APR on this one. There seem to be some nice benefit with it as far as travel points, but that is all I can say about it. I also do not like the annual fee. None of my other credit cards carry this requirement. Overall I guess it is an okay card if you are someone who could benefit from the travel rewards. I am not one of those people.

Just wondering what it takes to get a lower interest rate. I have had this card for over a year and have excellent credit rating (around 780). But I still have a 20% interest rate. I called and asked and they said they will let me know when I qualify for a better interest rate. I try to pay it off each month but I guess it still irks me. Other than that a great card. Just purchased airline tickets and got reimbursed within a few days.

I would definitely consider the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. I have been a customer with Capital One for over 15 years and have always had great service. This particular credit card gives 2 miles for every dollar, which is twice as many as most competitor cards. In addition the interest rate can be as low as 13.9% with good credit. While the card does have an annual fee, it less than half of what the American Express Platinum Card’s annual fee is. I travel internationally sometimes, so the no transaction fees is a selling point. The concierge and travel upgrades would also be very appealing. As someone who more

I have had this card for a short time and I am very pleased with what it offers. I had the regular capital one card and it had a high interest rate and I never got any miles on it. As I got used to this new one I realized the interest was lower and I've already earned quite a bit of miles. I couldn't be happier with the company because I was already pleased with what I had but now I feel like they gave me a better deal for being a good customer and all the things that I wished I had before I have more than I more

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card seems like it would be a good option for someone who travels frequently, and also has excellent credit! I however do not possess either of these qualities and therefore do not have a use for this card. I prefer my NFCU card that simply pays you back in cash rather than miles which can be hard to redeem!

I have this card and so does my girlfriend. She signed up for the card as well because we can transfer miles to each other easily. There is a threshold where the fee makes it worth owning this card, but if you use it regularly it is easily obtainable. My only issue I have ever had with this card was on a trip to vegas when I forgot to tell them I was travelling. It was declined and I had to call in to get it reactivated. Which was not a problem. I pay it off every month so the interest rate is no problem. Double miles for this low more

I do like this card for the miles that you earn with every purchase. However, there are two things that urk me. One is that it does not allow me to transfer my miles online to my husbands card. Don't give that option when it is truly not available. I have to call in. Two is that they are not honoring their offer of personalizing credit cards due to the new chip technology. I won't have my chip card for over a year according to the representative. So why can't I have my card personalized for a year???? So lame. The representatives are nice. Although I do since a little more

I love this card! A couple of months ago I started searching for my first credit card. I saw a lot cash back cards which were appealing, but I decided to go with the Capital One Venture Rewards card. Because I wanted to travel. And this card offered me free miles with every purchase. I earned bonus miles in my first month just by using my card to buy books and clothes. It's unbelievable that I can earn free airline tickets whenever I buy shoes or pay for gas. Their customer service agents are helpful, and fast. I have always had my questions quickly answered by an agent.

The Capital One Venture Rewards card is perfect for traveler's. The card offers 2% rewards on all purchases which is a rare find in cards today. There is a very nice sign-up bonus for new accounts and plenty of traveler friendly rewards and perks. With low rates and no foreign transaction fee, the card is one of the best available for those on the go.

This card is great if you travel a lot.

I like the rewards on the Capitol One Venture Rewards card. 40,000 bonus miles after only $3000 in purchases as well as the 2x miles AND it’s good on any airline. I know other cards tend to lock you into one airline. For someone who travels a lot it sounds like a really great deal. The APR is high but should not be a concern if you pay your bill every month, which is the best way to deal with these rewards card.

I have been very pleased with the card so far. I like to travel, so earning rewards that can be converted into free vacation fun is a huge perk. The interest rates are comparable to other cards. The alerts help me stay informed and organized. The credit tracker is one of the best things about the service. Overall, I have been very happy with this card. I would certainly recommend the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card.

The Capital One Venture rewards credit card is just average. New members get no annual fee for the first year which is nice. The credit tracker is useful. It allows you to see your credit score at any time. If you travel then this card is worth it because of the 40k in bonus miles that you get once you spend $3,000 in the first three months. Also, the miles do not expire. Overall, it does not suit me too well but for others it may be worth it.

So if you travel a lot, this would be a great card. But otherwise, I would highly recommend looking at other cards.
The 40,000 mile bonus sounds great, but you have to spend $3,000 in three months to qualify. And that 40,000 only equals $400. So if you're charging $3,000 anyway, that's great. Otherwise, you'll just feel compelled to spend more, which is probably the idea.
A $59 fee and 20% interest seems kinda steep, especially when some companies like AmEx are offering NO annual fees. But you get what you pay for, and there are a lot of traveling perks. Visa lounges in airports are NICE, a lot better than competitors, more

I do not have the card yet but I was about to apply when I came accross a review stating that the venture rewards card would only erase an amount if it was the exact amount of the flight, hotel, ect. If you come accross this review please let me know if this is true. When I called and asked customer service about it they told me they could not tell me if this is true or not until I become a card member which I thought was a bunch of BS.

Hi Tina, there is a minimum number you have to use to redeem partial amounts, and there are also ways around it. Say your flight is $100, you can then say this flight was for 10 tickets, and then you want to redeem your miles for only 1 ticket.

I first applied for the Capital One Venture credit card to get better rewards on travel and it certainly has paid off. When you first join, depending on your credit level, you're given extra reward points that can be used to get credit back to your account or a check in the mail or other retail gift cards. I've always chosen to get credit back to my card to help pay off my balance, it's like free cash and it's super fast and easy. I always use the card to purchase plane tickets and hotel rooms and it's been great to have the ability to get reward points on any more

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card has some great things going for it! It is definitely a benefit that you accumulate 2 miles per dollar spent and that you can get a bonus of 20,000 miles if you spend $2000 in the first 3 months, which honestly isn't that hard to do. It is also great that the miles NEVER expire! This is great because I would rather save up and actually use them rather than having them go to waste. I have a capital one venture the card is great. It offers low payments and will help improve credit score which majority does but this one is I preferred as long as you make your payments on time. Interest is on the high side that would be the only down flaw of this card. It has good customer service but I prefer to use the online features to pay bill another plus. You get credit increases every 6 months to a year as long as you pay bill and don’t go over your limit. The fees aren’t bad either. I love my card.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit card is a well-rounded travel credit card. Yes, you have a $59 fee after the first year, but using the card for one week-long car rental will save you that much just by not having to buy the extra collision, damage, and loss coverage. In addition, avoiding the foreign transaction fees will typically save 3% the other cards I have charge me when I go to Mexico or another foreign country.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is great if you travel a lot. With rewards that have no blackout dates, miles that don’t expire, and no limits on the amount of miles that you can earn is a huge plus. But if you’re like me that only travel’s maybe two times a year it may not be worth it. The annual fee after a year isn’t some thing that works for me. I’m also not thrilled with the $35 late fee. The cards I have only have a $20 late fee. The APR 13.9%-20.9% is a little high compared to other cards. Not a card that would work for more

The first thing that I noticed about this card is that the miles never expire. I really appreciate this because sometimes I don't travel for a year and sometimes I travel multiple times a year so the security is great on this card. I have this card 2nd time. The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is not cheap but good. I thinks that's the only thing that makes me not so happy when I use it. I like to use it when I travel. It has no limits and no expiration on my miles. It's such a fun to watch the miles piling up! Seriously. Here is the one benefit I like most: you get 2 miles per dollar on every purchase, every day. I can redeem my miles for any travel expense. I like to email customer service when I think I have a problem. They always help.

capital one venture credit card looks like a good one to have, especially when you own it for the first year, so many benefits but not so many rewards except if you are a frequent flier. then your rewards will be worth getting it. aside from that it is just like almost all other credit cards i know about. also it's good to note that the interest rate is slightly higher than the one i am using now with NASA.

In the past I have had a lot of issues with credit cards. I got into some trouble a while back and just recently applied for a capital one credit card. I have a small limit and as usual I am not happy with the card. I had to pay 49 dollars just to get the card which I thought was my yearly fee. Then upon getting my statement for the first time I was charged a 28 dollar fee that I was told was my annual fee. Well what was this 49 dollars I paid for? I’m not a fan.

I have had this card for a few years now and have nothing bad to say about it. Although it does have a small annual fee, the 2 points or miles per dollar spent well make up for that if you use your credit card on a regular basis. There is no better card out there where I know I am getting the same points on every purchase and do not need to worry about special promotions to get it. At the point that I want to redeem the points, it is as easy as anyone would want. For me, it is as simple as finding a travel transaction on more

That depends on how much you can book your flight for. The Venture Card allows you to simply buy your flight directly and then pay for it using accrued miles once it appears to your monthly statement. This is a great aspect of the Capital One rewards program, since it enables cardholders to book through comparison sites like Expedia or Kayak. If your flight costs $500, for example, you will need 50,000 miles to pay for it.
