I love my Capital One® Venture reward card. I’m the type of person that just has to shop, and for the longest time, I had been getting nothing back in return. I was spending thousands of dollars each year on my shopping habit, and nothing to show for it. So I got the venture rewards card, and started to see a return on all my purchases. I have a low interest rate, and I get a free plane ticket with all the reward points I earn. My vacation is paid for every year, thanks to my venture card.

I got my Venture card about a year ago, and I love it! My credit rating was good (not perfect for sure), and I qualified for a 5000 dollars credit limit. So if your credit score isn't perfect, apply anyway and you may qualify. The Venture card has no annual fee for the first year and earns you points for travel. I've already taken one trip to the coast with the points I've earned so far, and I’m almost able to pay for another trip with my points. Also, I received 10,000 points just for signing up! I highly recommend this card if you love to travel!

I love the fact that I simply can pay my bills with this card and still be able to get 30,000 bonus points to use for things such as traveling, if you like to travel this is definitely the card to get. The Capital One card usually offers a nice bonus for simply signing up and has low interest than most cards, this card requires a little better credit than most but its worth trying to get! I fully trust Capital One and believe them to be one of the best credit card companies over the many. They provide incredible customer service and have been very generous in the past. This is without a doubt my favorite card of them all. Such low rates too!

I've only had this Capital One card for about a year or so, but what is nice about it is the first year of owning it I didn't have to pay an annual fee. You do have to pay a fee of $59 after the first year, but that is okay as it's still lower than most annual fees. I mostly only use this card to pay my bills, but it is nice to get enough points to travel. So if you like to travel this card is great to have. Someday I plan on going to Hawaii when I get enough points!

I have been with Capital One for about 4 years and have had very few problems. The only issue I used to have was when I would mail the bill it seemed to take forever to process and I got a few fees. I started paying online now and have no issues. There is great customer service and the cards annual fee is pretty fair. There have been options to increase credit, and I have had no problem doing that. It is expected just about everywhere and the statements are very clear. I am billed the same time every month so it is predictable. I have been able to accumulate rewards and they add up pretty quickly.

I have had this credit card for over 2 years and I really love it. I love the rewards I get from it and I have gotten a few upgrades at hotels and restaurants just for using the card. The roadside assistance has come in handy for me before, too! My husband travels a lot, for business and pleasure, and we have racked up some reward points to use on our vacation. My husband's family lives in Europe, so the no foreign transaction fees were really something that stood out to me. The annual fee is $59, but your rewards are at 2% instead of the standard of 1.2% that comes with the lower card, which for us, made it a better deal.

I have been using my Capital one Venture card for a while. It has definitely been my best experience with a credit card. It is especially great if you travel a lot. I have collected a ton of airline miles by just using my credit card. Since I travel weekly for business this card basically pays for itself. The company also rewards you the longer you own your card and if you are consistent with paying your bills. I started out with a low credit limit and it keeps being raised by using it often and being good at paying the bills. I also had an unfortunate experience with identity theft and Capital One made the whole experience virtually stress free. Expenses that had been placed on the card, that were not me, were immediately taken off my bill and I'm pretty sure they even found the culprit. Capital One is a top rate company and I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you have business needs.

I just got my Venture Rewards Card in the mail today! I have had credit cards that gave me airline miles before, but none were as good a deal as the venture rewards card. What I usually do is use my credit card for all of my purchases in a given month, then pay off the amount due with my checking account. Needless to say, I accrue a decent amount of miles. I spent around a thousand dollars on month on bills and groceries. At 2 miles per dollar spent that's two thousand miles. I will post a follow up review in a few months after I have been using this card for a while.

I have had this Capital One credit card for quite some time now. It was my first credit card and is still the main card that I use. I generally use my credit card for all of my purchases and pay it off every time the bill comes due. I began with a lower credit limit and Capital One raised my limit as I built credit with them. I love the website's ease of use, and how helpful the company is. I have emailed them several times to ask them questions concerning my card and they were always quick and diligent in their responses. I love the online bill pay option and think that it is a great idea that you do not have to have paper bills, as I usually would forget to pay them on time. Lastly I really like how the rewards points work with my card. The online rewards program is easy to use and they have some great options. This company is right on target as far as rewards rates compare to other companies although I would like to see more points for my purchases.

This card is relatively new to me, I signed up because when researching cards online it received positive feed back from Money Magazine 'Best of' issue 3 years in a row. Not to mention the funny commercials you always see on TV with Jimmy Fallon. Anyway, I got it about 6 weeks ago and so far I am happy with my decision. The $59 annual fee is pretty standard and actually lower than what some competitors are charging. Plus and with this one you get much more benefits. I take frequent trips to visit my family in California so I figured I could save quite a bit of money over the course of a year towards airfare. I already earned the 10,000 miles for spending over $1,000. You also get member benefits with discounts off of hotels, restaurants etc. Another bonus feature is you can also customize your card with any image you want. One of my favorite things I like is all the 'safety features' they offer like 24 hr roadside assistance and 24-hour emergency travel assistance. All in all, Capital One Venture is definitely recommended.

I travel a lot so having a card that racks up miles quickly is very nice. I have never had a problem with any airline not accepting the miles. Another card that I have I've had to fight with the airline over the miles. Not with the Venture Card. It does have a yearly fee after the first free year. It's $59 as of now. While that is a disadvantage, it's one of the best miles cards out there that most people can get, and as I mentioned, it's easy to accumulate miles. My interest rate is very reasonable for a credit card, but that entirely depends upon your credit. Assuming you have good credit, and travel a lot, the Venture Rewards is a useful rewards credit card with a relatively low interest rate.

Love this card. Have to travel a lot for business and pleasure (moved to the states from the UK so I'm back over there a lot) so the reward points rack up pretty quickly. The fact you can use them for pretty much any travel expense is a great addition and I've never found that there was a flight or airline I could not use the points on. The annual fee is much what you'd expect from any other card of this level as are the rates, though you do have to remember that missing a payment or being late or whatever will damage your relationship with the company and will bump them up a bit.

This Capital One Venture card is the higher rewards version of the Venture One card. The main difference is that there is an annual fee of $59, but you get 2% in rewards instead of 1.25% with the free card. Both cards are very similar. I actually started with the Venture One card, and after realizing I was spending well beyond $8,000 on the card each year, I'd benefit more from having the Venture card even with the fee! The fee is waived for the first year, but as long as you're spending moer than 8K the card's fee pays for itself. This card is identical to the Venture One card in every other way. Same rewards that never expire with no limits! Can still use it for international purchases without any fees. It's pretty great overall. If you are a Capital One user, take a look at your Annual Report from last year, if you spent over 8K on your card then you might want to consider upgrading to the Venture card!

I have had the Capital One Venture card for quite a few years now. So far I have enjoyed the card very much! I use this card all the time to collect miles becase I do a lot of travelling. I have used the rewards quite a few times now and it has saved me a lot of money! I love that you can fly on any airline with no blackout dates. I have been able to get the dates I've wanted every time, which is pleasantly surprising. The couple times I've had to call customer service they have been very helpful and pleasant to talk to. They have always been able to answer any questions or concerns I have had. The only downside is the interest rate is a bit higher than some of my other cards, so I always make sure to pay it off right away. Otherwise, I have really liked this card.

As a fan of Alec Baldwin, I just had to have the card that he was spokesperson-ing for in those hilarious commercials. But after I got the card and started using it, I was happier than expected with my decision and the card. I fly quite a bit for work and pleasure, so the discounted airfare I will be able to accrue is a big plus for me. Also, Capital One makes it very easy to contact them and let them know you’ll be in a different location so they won’t flag your card when odd charges show up. This is a big plus for anyone who has ever had their card shut down while on vacation—getting it restored is a big hassle! But being able to give a heads up in a few seconds ahead of time saves a headache (and possibly worse!). So far, I’m thrilled that my fandom led me to this card! I do recommend it.

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card has been very good to me. The rates on the balance transfer aren't too bad and having no fee on top of the percentage is wonderful. I've transferred all of my balances to this card. My payments are much more affordable with everything in one place instead of scattered as they were before. I haven't had the card for more than a year as yet so I haven't had to pay a annual fee yet. I'm not too worried about it. It's much lower than some of the cards I've had in the past. Also I love, love, love the rewards miles! I'm saving up for an amazing vacation!

So far I am pretty happy with this card. I recently climbed out of the doldrums of bad credit so to be approved for such a card gives me a sense of pride. I have only had it for about six months so I have yet to pay any annual fee. I think I am going to try to use it for the NCAA College Basketball Championship aka "March Madness." This was one of my motivating factors for applying for this card. I live near Philly and a major part of the tournament is held here this year. So far I make about 3 purchases per month with this card but will likely increase that once I can afford to spend more. I have had no problems as of yet. I like my Phillies "P" logo that I have on it too.

I had one issue a month ago where someone had gotten my card information and was using it for online purchases. Within minutes of the transaction, an agent had called me to inform me of the purchase. She wanted to verify if it was me or not and asked me a few security questions. When I said I had no knowledge of the transactions, she quickly denied them and set me up with a new card (which I received 3 days later). I’d give this card a 5/5 any day, because I get both the rewards and the security of knowing my information is in good hands!

I just applied for and got the Capital One Venture card about four months ago, and so far, I’ve been happy with it. It’s the first card I’ve ever seeked out because of a television ad. The bonus miles posted to my account quickly, which is nice to not have to fight to get what they promise. I likely wouldn’t have gotten the card if the Annual fee hadn’t been waived for the first year. I expect to actually be able to use the perks from this card as opposed to some of my old cards that were mostly worthless. The only thing I wish was that the Interest rates were a little more competitive in case I carry a balance for a few months. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the card.

This credit card has been really great for me, mainly because of the customer service that comes with it. I was having a problem booking plane tickets with a company in a foreign country so I called customer service to see if my card had been charged. Not only were they extremely helpful, after figuring out that the ticket purchase had not gone through, they offered to call the airline and book the tickets for me. They handled the entire process, which was so helpful, especially since the connection to the airline's customer service number was always awful and they clearly were not native English speakers. The bonus miles that come with it were also great for my trip. Would definitely recommend this card.

THIS IS THE BEST CREDIT CARD THAT I HAVE HAD TO DATE! Seriously, it's wonderful. I got this card when they were doing the "Double Miles Promotion" so I got double miles on everything (and I got a starting miles amount, too!) that I did PLUS miles on the highest credit card total from my previous year from another card! How amazing is that when a credit card company tells you "tell me your total balance that you put on another credit card so I can give you miles on your current card with me?" I love this card and the rewards are mainly for travel, so it works perfectly with my lifestyle. I highly recommend this card and it's especially nice because I didn't have to have a minimum balance on my card in order to get the rewards simply applying and getting accepted with enough to get all these benefits! Hope my comments help you with choosing the right card. good luck!

I am happy that I got this credit card over a year ago before my trip to Spain. I went to Madrid and Barcelona and saved on the foreign transaction fee. Yes that it right; Capital One doesn't charge you the fee for converting money into foreign currency. I loved that! Also months after that trip I had my wallet stolen with the Venture card in it. They promptly replaced it without many questions. I told the agent what occured and gave them my RD number from the police. It was easy as pie. Lastly, the interest rate is low. If I do have a left over balance, I don't worry about it.

I'm glad that I signed up for this credit card. I got this card about a year ago before I left for a long term trip. Before I left I called to notify Capital One that I would be traveling abroad. They have good customer service and were very helpful, however they informed me that I would have to call and re-inform them that I was out of the country every 6 months so that they could make a new note on my account. Although this is a minor inconvenience, I am overall satisfied with the customer service. I am happy that my annual fee and APR is relatively low. The best benefit of the card is definitely the rewards, though. I enjoy making money by spending my money, and since I am traveling this is especially helpful.

I am very happy that I signed up for this credit card. The customer service has been great, every time I have called with questions or concerns their representatives are more than happy to assist me and have always answered my questions thoroughly. I love being able to earn miles to use towards travel by making purchases that I already am making anyways. It is like a bonus vacation for what I already do. I enjoy the security of fraud protection with using a credit card for purchases versus carrying cash or a debit card. I use this card for all of my purchases throughout the month, make my payments monthly and I am rewarded for using it with miles. It is a great program and I highly recommend this card to anyone who is asking.
December 14, 2012 at 02:42pm
I am very glad that I ended up getting this card a few months ago. I did a lot of research when I decided to get a card that would help me pay for flights, and I ended up picking this one. I really couldn't be happier with it. The points bonus that you get when starting is great! I love that they do this. I earn basically 2 miles for every dollar spent and have a pretty low interest rate. What else could I ask for? I major reason that I chose this card is that the annual fee is much lower than for other cards that I saw. Overall, I'm very happy and hope to spend the summer traveling with the miles I've earned.
December 7, 2012 at 04:27pm
I have only good things to say about my venture card. I got it for international travel because there are no foriegn transaction fees and has great rewards for miles. I just let Capital One know where I would be traveling and for how long. If my card was ever used outside of these areas where I said I would be I was contacted immediately to make sure that the charge was valid. Capital One has great security and benefits for anyone who does a lot of traveling. Highly reccomend.

Like everyone else, I first saw this card on TV with the Alec Baldwin commercials. At the time it seemed too good to be true, but I figured that I would check it out. After further research, it seemed that the hype was right, and I was happy to get an even better deal on airline rewards miles, so I signed up. I use this card whenever I can now, and love stacking up those double miles. Getting double miles AND having them applicable on all airlines sure makes travel a lot easier, and I am happy that I took advantage of the opportunity. I highly recommend this card.
October 11, 2012 at 05:39pm
I have this card and love it. I got it a few years ago and love the rewards and the low interest rate. I have accumulated a couple hundred dollars in a short amount of time. I simply buy as much as I can with the card, so I get my points, and then pay it off at the end of the month. I have had to call customer service a few times and they are always nice and helpful. Managing my account online is super easy and that is what I do most of the time. I can set up one payment or auto payments online, too, which is super helpful.
October 11, 2012 at 03:16pm
I love to travel so this is the best card in the world! I can earn 2 miles for every dollar that I spend, and since I use my card for just about everything I earn a LOT of miles. I also get all kinds of free upgrades. I know that a lot of cards claim they are easy to redeem but this card really is. I have never had a problem turning in my miles. I also love the protection that comes with my card. Recently there were unauthorized charges and they were taken off no questions asked. For the first time a credit card company takes you at your word instead of making you jump through hoops to prove that you were a victim of fraud. Hands down the best card out there!
October 11, 2012 at 02:22pm
I have this card, but I no longer use it. Years ago, there were some fraudulent charges made to my card. I called customer service to get that taken care of, and everything seemed to go smoothly. I was fine with it. I didn’t use that card much because I had no reason to. Then, nearly a year later, I was contacted by the Capitol One about some major outstanding dues that I was not aware of. Turns out they DIDN’T handle the fraudulent charges at all, and there were saying I was now responsible for them, plus the interest. I nearly had to get a lawyer involved with this. It was awful. The only reason I still have the card is because canceling one dings your credit score.
