Customer service is worse then constant sales calls. The collections department calls 5 times a day (not exaggerating) when we are up to date on payments. We are a business and we were prepared to make this card our primary fleet card, but they completely screwed themselves. We cancelled all of our cards within a month.

3 months after the cards were cancelled, we are still being harrassed and the customer service reps that call are the RUDEST people I have ever spoken to. They seriously need to leave their little girl emotions at home and act like professionals. Chevron/Texaco should be ashamed and embarrassed.

Do not get the Chevron Texaco card!! I have paid in full more than twice a month and I pay off the entire balance every time. They decided today randomly it would be a good idea to reduce my available credit to 0 and hold my available credit hostage for 9 days then when I call to cancel the card they don't even make an attempt to keep me as a customer. Guess what Chevron, you just lost a person who only bought gas at your stations and paid their bill in full every month! Personally I will take my business elsewhere and will never spend another cent at any more

The card seems pretty good for people who want a little extra money to spend on gas. Being able to accrue up to $300 for gas sounds like a good deal. There's no annual fee, and a reasonable grace period, which is nice. However, the card's 26.99% interest rate looks very bad. Compared to other cards, that's a very high interest rate that could leave a card holder spending more money than they intend to spend. The lack of an intro rate and the cash advance rate are also appalling to see. The downsides of the Chevron and Texaco Credit Card far outweigh the benefits.

The Chevron and Texaco credit card may be a useful investment if you use these stations often and exclusively. Cardholders can earn up to twenty cents off a gallon with this card, which is quite a lot! A $0.20 reward is one of the highest on the market for a gas card. However, using this card does require dealing with the simply enormous 26.99% interest rate, and the lack of an introductory period of rate makes this even more unforgivable. It simply doesn’t make sense for someone that doesn’t use these gas stations a lot, because they will end up spending more in interest than they could potentially save! I’d more

A lot of people are going to be looking into gas rewards credit cards right about now given how expensive a gallon has and will become. There are two things to consider when looking for a gas card: 1) whether or not you always get gas at the same chain of stations and 2) what the available cards offer. See, certain gas rewards cards are tied to particular gas station chains and they only provide savings on gas purchased at those stations, which means they would not be helpful to people who get gas at a variety of different stations. What’s more, gas rewards cards often provide rewards in tiers more
