I used to use this card all the time because of the balance transfers. They used to have balance transfer offers one after another, with terms better than most in the industry. I would use the money to pay off higher interest debt. They would charge 3% fee plus 0% interest, generally for 12-18 months. Now within the last few months I have seen less offers from them (and my credit score is the same, I monitor my score) and for shorter amounts of time, usually 6-12 months. They even had one offer that was charging 4% for the fee. I am not sure if the market is changing, or what is going on, but I am not sure if I will be using them much anymore if they do start charging 4% for a balance transfer and for a shorter amount of time. They were my “go to” for an easy balance transfer, but not so sure anymore.

I have been using this card for about three years. My main purpose of using this card is for balance transfer. Since I have a good credit score, I got a pretty high credit limit on this card. I have several other credit cards with high credit lines and providing 0 APR balance transfer offers, but this card is my favorite due to two reasons: (1) This card has no annual fee. The BT transaction fee is standard (3%), no higher or lower than other cards; (2) it provides an 18-month 0 APR offer, about 6-8 months longer than the periods provided by other cards. I have been using the transferred money for other investments. Another good thing about this card is that after I paid off the balance, the 18-month 0 APR BT offer would come out again, so I could borrow the money again at a loan rate of 3% per 18 months. So far I haven't had any bad experience with this card and I plan to keep using it.

This was actually my first credit card. I opened it as a student card about 6-7 years ago. I've never had any issues with it or Citibank, although I've also never gone over the limit or missed making a payment on time. The rate isn't great, but I've seen much worse, and there's no annual fee. It has the ExtraCash program, but I've never used that either. This was a very decent 'starter' card. The times I have spoken to customer service they were polite and helpful after the required script the person had to read. They have an option for paperless statements, which I like. They often offer decent balance transfer offers. The only reason this isn't my 'main' card is that I have another with a lower APR, but overall I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a basic, no annual-fee credit card.
