I have to admit, I’m not quite sure what Coast to Coast is or the services/products it offers (though it clearly has a nationwide presence). But my ignorance is actually good because you don’t want to get a credit card based on branding alone. You need to instead evaluate what it actually offers. Without further ado, the Coast to Coast Credit Card from Barclays gives you 2,500 REC Rewards points after your first purchase, 5 REC rewards points for every dollar you spend on Coast to Coast related products and services, and 1 rec reward point for every dollar spent on everything else. You can redeem your REC rewards for things like free camping, camping world gift cards, other types of gift cards, gas cards and cash back (if you want cash back you should get a cash back card rather than the Coast to Coast Credit Card, which is a points credit card). Overall, the Coast to Coast Card provides decent rewards for people who spend a lot on a monthly basis on Coast to Coast products and services. If C to C stuff isn’t one of your main expenses, then you wont get enough benefit from the Coast-to-Coast credit Card to make it worth it. You can’t evaluate a card based only on its rewards though. In terms of rates and fees, the Coast 2 Coast Credit Card has no annual fee and offers 0% on balance transfers for 12 months but no low intro rate for purchases. Since none of this makes the Coast to Coast Credit Card offer stand out, you need some alternatives. If you like travel, a card like the Venture Card from Capital One is great since it offers a $100 initial bonus and basically 2% cash back across all purchases since you can redeem miles for anything travel related. If you just want some extra cash, the Chase Sapphire Preferred offers $500 cash or $625 in travel as an initial bonus. The Citi simplicity, diamond preferred and platinum select cards all offer 0% on purchases and transfers for 18 months.
