Rewards
Earn an extra 2 points for every dollar you spend as an Eddie Bauer Adventure Rewards member.
Enjoy exclusive cardholder promotions.
When using your card, spend up to $299 and get 5 points per $1 spent, between $300 and $599 and get 6 points per $1, and over $600 and get 7 points per $1 through the Adventure Rewards program.
Free Return Shipping on all orders with your Card.
Excellent ongoing rewards. The Eddie Bauer Credit Card gives you 5 points per $1 spent on the first $299 that you spend each year, 6 points on the next $599 spent and 7 points on amounts above $600. You just have to remember to sign up for the free Adventure Rewards program, or you’ll earn 2 points less across the board. Such savings, provided in the form of store credit, are extremely good considering that the best store credit cards typically offer 5 points on all purchases.
No annual fee. Nearly all store credit cards don’t charge annual fees. So this is nothing that sets the Eddie Bauer Card apart. But it will save you about $22.29 per year relative to the average credit card, according to WalletHub’s latest Credit Card Landscape Report.
High APR. The Eddie Bauer Credit Card’s APR is above the store-card average of 30.16%. So make sure to pay your bill in full every month if you don’t want to overpay on interest.
Fair credit or better required. Again, this isn’t unique. Pretty much all store credit cards require just fair credit for approval. That’s why they’re surprisingly good credit-building vehicles. If you’re not sure where your credit currently stands, you can check your latest credit score for free on WalletHub. You’ll be able to gauge your odds of being approved for the Eddie Bauer Card and track your credit score over time with free daily updates.

Unfortunately, the Eddie Bauer Credit Card does not allow cash advances. The Eddie Bauer Credit Card is a store card that is not backed by a major credit card network, so it can only be used for purchases at Eddie Bauer stores and eddiebauer.com.
The fact that Eddie Bauer Credit Card cash advances are not an option might actually be a blessing in disguise. Cash advances are very expensive, due to a cash advance fee and a separate cash advance APR that apply as soon as you withdraw the cash. There may also be ATM-owner fees, depending on where you make the cash advance.

The maximum credit given is $4000 and the interest rate is high. But you get considerable discounts at Eddie Bauer for using the card. Remember that this is a store card, so you can only use it at Eddie Bauer. Helps with establishing a credit history, but make sure you pay if off every month.

High interest rates but convenient for holiday and gift purchases. Pay it off monthly due to high rates. Great sales and quality merchandise.

The worst customer service ever!! Don't expect any help or understanding if you have a problem. I will never use this card again or shop at Eddie Bauer. If I could give -5 stars I would, I was actually offended by the representative.

I have just experienced all of the negative aspects noted in the 1 star reviews contained below. My credit score before a purchase I made in December, 2020 was well above 800. I just checked Comenity Bank's reviews and find that I am not alone in having very negative experiences in the past days and hope the events following that purchase don't give Comenity reason to lower that in any way. Today's date is Feb. 14, 2021. I certainly would not recommend this card and am quite sure I can find other stores than Eddie Bauer from which to purchase apparel.

They charge automatic late fees without sending out statements and refuse to return them, even when its obvious the holder has no clue they are occurring. They have contact info to courtesy call to inform of such thing or even just refunding theses fee shouldn't be a problem. I am out $90 and will be canceling my credit card with them.

Worth it if you shop EB lots. But the lack of auto-pay features clearly shows they aren't interested in customer service, but in generating fees from customers. Eddie Bauer should take note and get this changed. I know that other Comenity Bank cards have customer friendly auto pay features.

The problem with the Eddie Bauer card is the bank processor: Comenity Bank. My experience was that the billing cycle and due date was always changing. This resulted in late fees that I could never recover as a credit. It appears that the Comenity business model is based on charging late fees. I would not recommend any Comenity Bank serviced card.

I like this store and their goods but a credit card with a variable 26.99% interest rate is obscene. Cash is king and debt is dumb.
