I have been using discover for a year now. I really liked its first 3 month 150$ cash-back program on purchase of 1500$ or more. I travel international a lot, so it was perfect for me. Once I used it for that, I realized it gives a good return on online shopping as well - I was getting upto 5% off my online shopping for a quarter. It was pretty awesome! Now I use them for almost everything. I usually pay my dues quite early, so no idea about how the APR works here, but I really get some good discounts through them, so love them! As stated by others, teh customer service is exceptional, and quite honest. I do not think I'll ever move away. try it out for yourself, specially before making a big online purchase.

I had started traveling a LOT for work. I wanted a credit card that would give me miles so I could take my family to the places I have been traveling too and the cost not be so high. What I likes was the 2 miles to 1 dollar ratio AND for the first 2 years you get 1000 miles just for using your card! I was pretty stoked when I was able to use 25000 miles that I didn't actually have to do anything for. I always use my credit card so it was like an added bonus. Customer service is pretty outstanding, too. I had an issue with my card being declined once and when I called to find out why, they were prompt, honest and said it was an error in their system and would be fixed right away. Pretty amazing company! Glad I went with them.

I decided to get this Discover card after hearing about the great bonus miles I can earn with this. I like to travel a lot when I have the time, and this card is wonderful for earning the miles I need to take the vacations I have dreamed of. You get 2 miles for every $1 you spend, and yes, that is pretty much the norm these days. However, the great thing about this card is the 25,000 bonus miles that you can get. 1,000 mile for each of your first 25 months using this card. That is a lot of miles! I took a trip using the miles I won with this card, so I have to say that I simply love it! The only minor downside to this is the annual fee, but at least it is only $60.

I have been a Discover Card user for a long time now and I've never had any issues with it at all. I think that Discover Card is one of the top best credit cards in my opinion. I receive my bill through online and paper, but I usually pay online. I always pay my bill in full each month, so I never have a problem with that. One time I had to call them to switch my billing information over to online and the customer service was phenomenal! I use this credit card almost everywhere I go, such as clothing stores, grocery stores, or even online shopping. The interest rates and credit limits are great with Discover.

I have been using Discover for several years, and this particular card for several months. One thing I really like about it is the frequent flyer bonus miles because I travel a lot for my job and to visit relatives. Because of how much I use the card, the points add up very quickly. One of the downsides to this card, though, is that it is not accepted in as many places as other cards are. However, I typically use my card for online purchases where it is almost always accepted as a form of payment, so this is not much of an issue for me.

I have been a happy Discover customer for many many years...probably upwards of 20 years now! I have found that Discover Card customer service is among the very best in the credit card industry. In all the years I've worked with them, I've never had a negative experience. I do pay my balance in full each month, which could help me avoid some of the hassles that might be experienced with a credit card company. But in the one instance where a payment went missing, I found the Discover customer service to be completely willing to help me out by waiving the late fee without me having jump through hoops talking with managers and sending emails. I use this card because of its travel mile deal, but I also use it because I have peace of mind that Discover presents a great credit card product.

This is my second card that I use. It is more of a vacation, even from its name, the "Discover" card, and I love the rewards on it. The travel miles offer is great, 2 miles per dollar might seem like a little, but it turns out to be a whole lot of miles. I've been on two trips to Russia, and Aruba, for free! This might have been partly due to the amount of money I spent on my new living room, but it was still worth it. But what I am trying to say is you should get this card primarily if you are a traveler. You get many bonus chances to fly off, and its very helpful for a full time traveler like me. It also comes with an offer of 1000 miles every month for the first 2 years, which is also a great thing you must take advantage of. All in all I give this card a 4.5 out of 5.

I love this Discover card! I have been a Discover Card customer for years and have always been happy with their service. I only had the one card but then I saw a commercial a few years back for the Discover Escape card and couldn't resist the travel miles offer. (My husband and I really enjoy traveling and try to go on at least one special trip a year). The card came with an offer of 1000 travel miles credit every month that we use our card (for the first 2 years) so we made sure we took advantage of it. We used it religiously and that really paid off when we took our vacation over Christmas break last year. I really like the shopdiscover partners, and getting double miles too. Having an Escape card already means that my miles are doubled, so I basically earn quadruple miles on my purchases through the partners. Really, there is no reason NOT to have this card if you are a traveler. One critique would be the annual fee (I try to avoid any card with an annual fee) but I have resolved to keep paying it because the benefits have helped offset the cost.

I have the Discover Escape card and I love it! Most people would find if they shop online a lot much like I do that the shop discover perk is awesome. You end up getting 4 miles for every dollar you spend when you use shop discover which really adds up. They provide 25,000 free bonus miles that you receive every month for 25 months which really adds up as well. The only problem that I have with Discover is that it is not as widely accepted as many other credit cards thus you must find an alternative way to pay sometimes and forfeit being able to get miles for that purchase. Other than that I am completely satisfied with the Discover Escape Card.

I love Discover! They have helped me so much by being lenient, always there when I call and are always so friendly. I have had other credit cards and my Discover Escape is by far the best I have ever, ever had. Everytime I call customer service they go out of their way to help me. I have been late twice and they waived my late fees. NO credit card company does this. Thank you.

Should I get the Escape by Discover Credit Card? That’s what you want to know, so lets cut right to the chase: No. Don’t worry, I’ll expain why I made that recommendation. The first thing you’ve gotta know is that the Escape by Discover requires excellent credit for approval and charges a $60 annual fee. Right away that tells you that the Discover Escape Card is only for people with relatively high income who hardly ever miss payments. It also lets you know that its rewards better make up for the $60 annual fee. Well, the Escape by Discover Credit Card gives you 1,000 bonus miles each month that you make a purchase for the first 25 months as well as 2 miles for each dollar you spend. That might seem pretty good until you consider that the Capital One Venture Card offers 2 miles for each dollar you spend as well as up to 100,000 bonus miles without charging any annual fee in the first year ($59 after that). The Discover Escape Card’s interest rates don’t really measure up either. It offers 0% on purchases and transfers for 6 months and charges a 3% balance transfer fee. There are any number of cards that beat that. Since I told you not to get the Escape by Discover Credit Card, I’ll give you some good alternatives. If you want rewards, you cant go wrong with the Venture Card I mentioned (if you travel a lot) or the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card which gives you $500-625 as an initial bonus. If you want low rates, there are three Citicards offering 0% for 18 months and a Chase Slate card offering 0% for 15 months without charging a balance transfer fee.

Just from the name of the Escape by Discover Credit Card, you know it’s centered on travel rewards. (Either that or it helps you pick locks or something and escape captivity…just kidding). Escape by Discover is a credit card for consumers with excellent credit; it has a $60 annual fee and offers 25,000 bonus miles, which you get in 1,000 increments each month you make a purchase with the card for the first 25 months. Credit card companies often offer rewards in this manner because it ensures that their customers will make purchases and they will get interchange revenue. This Discover Escape Card also gives you 2 miles for each $1 you charge across all purchases, making it similar to the popular Capital One Venture Card, particularly since you can redeem for travel on any airline. Since you’re probably wondering what these miles get you, 10,000 miles are redeemable for a $100 travel credit. You can also redeem for cash, gift cards, merchandise, etc. but, if the Escape by Discover is like other major credit cards, you might not get as much back in return. Ultimately, the Escape by Discover card is a pretty good choice if you travel frequently and do so on different airlines. There are a number of different cards that offer more lucrative initial bonuses than the Escape, but the $250 in travel that this card provides is better than the $100 provided by the Venture Card and the 2 miles/$1 is the same. So if you need a generic travel rewards credit card, the Discover Escape Card is a pretty good choice. Just keep in mind that Discover’s worldwide acceptance is significantly less than Visa or MasterCard’s, so if you often travel abroad, either look into whether or not Discover is accepted in your destination or look for a card on a different network.
