FNBO has been one of the best banks I've ever dealt with and their customer service is phenomenal. Everything from credit limit increases to some of the best balance transfer offers I've seen. Great bank.

They don’t even deserve one star. I was able to consistently make my payments until I had to file for disability and had no income.
The woman on the phone, Nancy, said she was not comfortable working with me.
Next thing I know they shut my credit card and I’m in collections.

I just received a mail piece on this card. I'm reading posts here from cardholders saying there is no annual fee. The piece I just received calls for an $89 annual fee with a 3.5% variable APR. Anybody else get this? I'm skeptical.

I just got preapproval in the mail today. No fee is all over the mail piece. But no rewards either. No intro rate either. I have a QS, Citi Double and Discover so why would I want a card with no rewards? I would like an Amex but not under those terms. My score is over 740

i was with FNBO amex for years ..last month I called and spoke to a manager asking for approval for deferred payment 1 year to pay deal and i got approved she even increased my credit limit that i was able to buy airline tickets .. But when the bill came there is an interest of $45+. When a asked the supervisor named LYN,, she said that there was not a recorded or noted conversation stipulating i was approved for a deferred payment.. I will never use this card again..i had been a good customer,,and to be treated like this ,is just preposterous.. YOU people are LIARS!!

The First National Bank of Omaha America Express Credit Card is a pretty good card that has a great feature of having no annual fees. The Rewards for this card is a Cash Back system, and you can get 2% cash back on gas and grocery store purchases and 1% on other applicable purchases. That is good in a way to recoup money after your daily needs. The Purchase, Balance Transfers, and Cash Advances are on par with other cards, and there's a Introductory 0% APR for the first 12 billing cycles for whenever you buy something. Comparing this to Blue Cash Preferred from American Express, the bonus from the Omaha American Express Card is lacking, since Blue Cash has an initial bonus of $150 and higher percentages on cash back. I'd definitely recommend the Omaha Card.

The First National Bank of Omaha American Express Credit card offers a nice rewards program - 2% on gas and groceries, and 1% on everything else which most cards offer now a days. Now starting off you get 0% APR and balance transfers for 1 year, which is always nice and standard to decent credit cards. It also has a nice variable for which you can get as an APR, which is very important. This card is a great all around casual card if your the average person doing the average spending. Get your balance transferred, paid off, and earn some points, while getting some cash back on everything you do. It reminds me of my TD Platinum card which i use frequently for the cash rewards. I would highly recommend this card.

In terms of a reward card, the First National Bank of Omaha Credit Card offers pretty decent awards. 2% back on groceries and gasoline is quite nice for the category, and the 1% on other purchases has become a standard for rewards cards. However, this card comes with a few nice perks such as the no interest for the first 12 months of owning the card, which I know can be a godsend. The rewards program is weaker than say, the TrueEarnings Credit Card from Costco and American Express, but there's no annual fee on this card and it offers good enough cash back - I would strongly consider this card.

I love the fact that the First National Bank of Omaha American Express® Credit Card has no annual fee, and that the reward system they have is much simpler than any other. I rather just have a lower rate the some gimmicky rewards, but if I am going to have one, I'd much prefer one like this. Also, a year with no balance transfer fee and no interest rate on purchases is nice. Overall, the First National Bank of Omaha American Express® Credit Card is a solid choice for someone with great credit who wants a no-frills option but still wants a cash back reward program.
