Please think twice before applying for Hilton HHonors Reserve credit card. I paid my $95 membership fee last year and have spent more than $10,000 till my anniversary date this February. I cancelled my card late April. Citi said I would not qualify for the free night certificate because I was not a card holder when Citi was ready to dispense the certificates. It is just not fair and not right!

The Citi Hilton HHonors Reservce Card is a scam. The certificates for 2 free weekend nights never show up even after months of eligibility. After numerous calls and many hours with customer support, who recognize the awards have been earned, and promises that I will receive it within a week, there is no sign of the award certificates.

I was excited to sign up for the Citi Hilton card because of the two complimentary night stays. I've used the card many times and have only had pleasant experiences. My husband and I travel throughout the year to see family so our points accumulate pretty quickly between rental cars and hotel stays. Although I've only had minimal contact with the service representatives, the woman who handled my change of address over the phone was cordial and prompt. Citi's website makes it really convenient to make payments and keep track of purchases. If you do a lot of traveling, I'd recommend the card.

I have had this card in the past. I do travel a lot but there are cards out here that offer a lot more in terms of earning power. Also the customer service experience I had was terrible. I called them about a suspected identity theft, I was told that I would have to purchase a seperate product in order to be protected against identity theft. I was over $50.00 per month. They did however refund my money from the theft after much debate. I would not recommend this card due to the fact that their customer service seems to based in a foreign country and they are very hard to understand.

If you travel a lot and stay in hotels then this credit card is a good choice. You can earn free nights at Hilton hotels which can be a big money saver for spending money on things you already buy. Hilton hotels are not usually cheap and they are generally nicer hotels so it is worth it to earn the free nights to use if you need to travel, or just want to get away for the weekend. The interest rate isn't the best so I would recommend to pay more than your minimum balance each month so you're not paying a ton of interest.

always pay full for cards like this. if you can't pay your CC full, pick up a bluebird debit and use it wisely.

Is Joe Weider and Maggie waiting for me to go first? haha.
This card can be great, if you know how to use it right. Spend 2.5k and you get 2 weekend nights free. Ok.. what does that mean? no finite # of points or what? what can this card do for you? how do you value this card?
Simple. Go pick out a weekend trip to one of most expensive areas you can think of (think SF, NY, Boston, etc etc), and find yourself the MOST EXPENSIVE HILTON HOTEL!
now think of spending 2 nights there for free. (some restriction apply, but minimal).
I was looking at top tier hilton hotel in NY, and those were going for about 400 dollars a night. So this card will get you 800 dollars for free.
+ gold membership, which I value (unless you stay at hilton often, and you get gold from stays) at about $250. so this card will give you $1050 first year alone.
Then each year, you get one weekend night free, which, again, if used properly, is worth more than 95 bux.
Even if you don't consider all the bonus points for using this card AT hilton (10 bonus pts per dollar), not a bad deal. 95$ annual fee, again guys, is easily covered from annual free weekend night certificate.
