Absolutely the most incompetent customer service personnel in the entire industry. Notified them of a fraud transaction and they kept the hacked card active.

Incompetent customer service personnel. I reported a FRAUD and was told to keep using the SAME CARD. 3 DAYS later I was contacted by their illustrious fraud team that that were cancelling this card and issuing a new one. I would not have kept using the old card if the CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL HAD PROVIDED THE CORRECT INFORMATION stars IN MY BOOK.

There are other credit cards suited for the traveler that are much better than the La Quinta Credit Card. This card does offer an interesting 17 point return per dollar if you stay at La Quinta Inn, which is quite a bonus perk. However, when compared to a card like the IHG Rewards Club Select Visa Credit Card, it just falls short. The IHG card offers a much better initial bonus of 4 nights for spending 1,000 dollars in the first 3 months, whereas the La Quinta requires a ridiculous 10,000 dollars spent in 12 months for the same # of free nights. IHG also happens to have more hotels more

The La Quinta Credit Card is a great choice for travelers that are always-on-the-go. It has a relatively low rate of 13.99% but up to 19.99% depending on your credit. The rewards program is great for people who stay at La Quinta Inn's a lot, like myself, and even I may look into trying to get one of these. Much like Choice Hotels Guest Privileges Visa Cards, you will earn points for each night you stay at a La Quinta Inn. It's a little low on amenities such as fraud liability but otherwise it's a great card to have. I would recommend this to my family members who tend to more

The old card issued by Chase was great. If balance was paid in full within thirty days there were no fees. The new issuer not only awards fewer points for purchases but hits you with a finance charge even when there has been no activity on the card during the billing period. They charged me a $2.88 finance charge on a monthly balance of ZERO. I cancelled the card.
