We liked the 0% interest offer we received on our card, but found the prices in the long run were not as good as we found on other deals. We also did not like the next visit with them on an oil change due to the fact the tech found a problem that was proposed to cost twice as much as the company we chose to do the work.

Overall NTB has a good credit card. I really appreciate having the no interest for 6 months. This allows me to pay off my debt a lot sooner.

NTB credit card customer service does not give an option to talk to a live person when I called. I tried all the numbers listed as customer service. I have had the card for over 4 years and did not know that they do not offer live customer service.

The APR is outrageous on this card, they are preying on people who don't know enough to shop around for better cards or who don't have a good enough credit score to get a card with a lower APR... avoid this card or any card with an APR this high

The customer service hours are not convenient if you work long hours and do not conduct personal business at work. The online account management would not work the past months and again, when assistance was needed, there is no one to contact. There was no ability to pay without logging into a count. I received a notice from Citi about the NTB account; the NTB number told me to "call back." I called the numbers with my Citi Diamond Preferred account (I have had for 30 years.) The Citi customer service representative tried to help me, but she received the message "call back" too when trying to reach that team. If Citi Diamond Preferred employees cannot reach the Citi NTB people... that is probably a red flag to avoid the NTB card.

Worst card. Citi Card plays game to squeeze late payment and interest charges without sending statement on time and will not send you digital copy of the statement. Do not trust Citi Card marketed by NTB. I had real bad experience and they start chasing you money without sending the statement. Avoid going for this card.

Just applied and was approved for the card when I bought new tires and qualified for $100 rebate in the form of a Visa prepaid card that will be sent to me in 8-10 weeks. The current APR is 29.74% which is listed on this site and the 6 months no interest if paid in full is an introductory offer so be careful. I plan to pay off the $257.98 I paid for 4 tires (buy 2 get 2 free) and the $306.10 I paid for lifetime balance, 1 yr wheel alignment, road hazard warranty and installation (the Value Installation Package which is a required purchase to get the 2 free tires) within 6 mo. so I don't have to dip into savings or pay any interest. So the $100 rebate and the buy 2 get 2 combined with the 6 mo intro no interest credit card is a good deal. The card alone, APR way too high. If I ever use this card again I'll definitely make sure the balance is paid off monthly.

The National Tire & Battery (NTB) Store Card is a pretty run of the mill store card. If you're buying a lot of products from this chain, then I'd check this card out. There's no rewards, but you can get a $50 Visa Prepaid Card on purchases of $399 or more, or $25 card for $199 or more. There's no interest if paid in 12 months, but you need to make a payment of at least $799. There's store benefits with special rebate/coupon offers and low monthly payments. This is definitely on par with other cards such as Big O Tires Store Card, but the only different is that the prepaid cost tiers are different with a range of $100. So get this card if you're buying a lot of car products from this chain.
