Prepaid debit cards can be used in two ways: to make purchases or to withdraw cash from a bank teller, cashier, or ATM. You can spend the full balance of your prepaid card without ever touching cash, but if you do find yourself in need of cash, you can withdraw it from your prepaid card.
How to Withdraw Money From Your Netspend Card
Visit a bank or credit union. Take your Netspend card to your local bank or credit union, and you should be able to get cash by speaking to a teller. Your Netspend card may charge a 2.75% of the withdrawal amount or $4.00, whichever is greater fee for this service.
Withdraw money from an ATM. The Netspend card charges a $2.95 fee to withdraw money from an out-of-network ATM, in addition to any fees charged by the ATM's operator. It may be difficult to withdraw your full Netspend card balance from an ATM, since most ATMs limit cash withdrawals to multiples of $20, $10 or, rarely, $5.
Get cash back from a retail store. When you make a purchase using your Netspend card and PIN at a retail store, you have the option to get cash back, effectively turning the cashier into a free ATM. The retailer may limit the amount of cash back they will give to customers who make debit purchases. In addition, it may be difficult to withdraw your full balance this way, since cash back is usually only offered in denominations of $20 or $10. There is no fee for this service.
Unfortunately, you cannot reload this card at an ATM, but you can find a retail reload location by visiting https://www.loadnetspend.com . Please take into consideration that, depending on the location, a reload fee of up to $3.95 may apply.
Unfortunately not. You can use your card to withdraw cash at virtually any ATM, but NetSpend charges a fee of $2.50 per withdrawal on top of whatever ATM owner surcharge is assessed.
Unfortunately not. Checks can only be loaded electronically using direct deposit. If you want to load paper checks, the best option is to get a prepaid card like Chase Liquid which offers free mobile deposits.
You may withdraw that amount by opting for over-the-counter cash withdrawal at a NetSpend Reload Network Location or Visa member bank branch. You will not be able to withdraw that much from an ATM, since ATM transactions are limited to $325 per withdrawal, $940 per day.

***Whatever you do, DO NOT get the Netspend All Access CARD.** I just made that mistake today abd I am quickly fixing this issue. When you switch fromThe Black Netspend "Regular Card" and GO to "all Access Card", they will charge $20.00 for 0 funds plus the $9.95 monthly fee. You have to keep at least $10 to $15 dollars on this account so they wont charge Over draft fees. I Really should have read the fine print. THh words"overdraft protection" means they will charge You, the owner of that card $20.00. ALSO you have to get direct deposit of $400 or more or you will be charged. ** Pleae read more like I should have. I am closing this account the same day I opened it.

I've had a NetSpend prepaid debit card for approximately 3 years. Up until recently I've had no problem. On June 5, 2017 my account was hacked and $1000 was transferred to someone I've never heard of. I filed a dispute and after 3 days NetSpend returned the money to my account but blocked so no one could transfer funds to my card nor could I transfer funds to anyone else. I'm on a fixed income and had that money direct deposited to my card. July 26, 2017 (yesterday) I found my account locked when trying to log in online. I called customer service and was told my account (card) had been cancelled and the remaining money on my card would be sent in a check that I would receive in 7 to 10 business days. When I asked the reason for the cancellation I was told it was a decision made by business management due to my account being high risk. I received no notification of the cancellation of my account, no text, no email, no call, zip, nada, nothing. When I asked the representative why I was wasn't notified I was told that they needed me to call them. If I had attempted to make a purchase yesterday I would have been declined and had to deal with the embarrassment of not knowing why. The least NetSpend could have done was notify me they were going to cancel my account and give me the opportunity to withdraw the funds I had left. Now here I sit with no funds to pay my bills, buy groceries or survive until the check arrives in 7 to 10 business days. To say I'm not happy is an understatement.

The netspend Prepaid card has come in handy a multitude of times while traveling abroad. I've used it many times and being able to reload the card is very simple. You can reload the card even in the most remote places in the world and the security and privacy is very good. Customer service is a little dicey due to it being outsourced, but what company isn't these days.

How can I trust a company if I can't understand it's language? I mean come on NETSPEND... I am so sick and tired of the BROKEN ENGLISH your OUTSOURCED CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS attempt to correct. My frustration with them makes me almost suicidal ! ! ! This is a travesty...I am a AMERICAN, who has wonderful DICTION ... and I expect the same in return, and I know damn well there should be an AMERICAN working somewhere within the company, with proper ENGLISH ANNUNCIATION to handle English Speaking consumers such as myself. This is a company who wants to continue to handle my money...if you can't find people over seas who can't communicate clearly with those of us who don't have an 'EAR' for exotic syllables, then you need to bring it on HOME NETSPEND !... BACK TO THE U.S.A. ! Oh...and by the way...WHERE IS MY MONEY?...its been one issue after another...your fees have skyrocketed to 10 to the 87th POWER! Its got to be a better way people, and I know it is...GOOD LUCK everyone, cause I m outta here...(that's my BROKEN ENGLISH) :O) ....GODSPEED !

Used to be a good company until their system began stealing money and refusing to release pending transaction refunds. Even now, I have 5 pending transactions that are up to a week old. I have called about it and they seen the fault but still hung up on me without correcting. Transferring all of my direct deposits to a credit union. At least my credit union is not outsourced overseas. Why outsource support like this? Our socials and other info is way in India. If they steal your identity, there is nothing we can do. Yeah, I'll be closing out this account.
