The PenFed Promise card is my safe credit card. There really are absolutely no fees. The card is great for people with credit card debit but that isn’t me. I got this as my first credit card and use it for daily purchases and monthly subscriptions. I choose this card because I’m currently a college student and bound to make a few mistakes. With this card those mistakes won’t cost me even more with outrageous fees. Advantages: no fees at all, great customer service at PenFed, easy approval. Disadvantages: PenFed is restricted to Federal employees and there are no rewards or cash back.
