Customer service is not good. After 15 years with them and never a missed payment I asked if they could waive a $10 fee for for using a transfer balance check. They flatly refused. I will be cancelling this card

I got it because I qualified for it through my bank. It's alright, don't put a lot of money on it though because the interest rate is high. The customer service is excellent, you can cancel and get a new one very quickly if you lose it. The points are pretty good, I really only use cashback. I would not recommend it to others unfortunately.

Terrible card, the customer service is absolutely abysmal and when I tried to redeem my points (Of which they hand out in tiny amounts like they're afraid of you getting enough to cash them in so you can leave) I wound up waiting two months with nobody being able to tell me what the hold up was. I would absolutely positively never use another card from them or use PNC Bank again in my life nor would I recommend them to others. You're better off writing IOUs on used napkins than resorting to using this bank/card. Stay away! FAR AWAY.

PNC points is a rip off. I have been waiting 15 days for 2 dining gift cards with no answers as to why they have not been sent. Still processing. But you talk to so many different cuts. sec people and they all say different things. Supervisors are of no help and don't know anything either. Ordered in October and still waiting for them. Poor cust. sec and poor website...

This PNC Points Visa is the stingiest and most miserly reward program ever.
The reward choices are limited and quite expensive. A cheap-o package of 5 ball point pens costs 1800 points and It takes some 50000 points to get a $100 reward. You would be wise to skip this deal.

The card is great for points. Do not transfer balances as they hide the fact that there is a 2.5 % base interest charged on that balance. Not a 0% transfer as they advertise.

The reward points worth only a fraction of other credit card issuers points. Be careful before you apply it, because you'll really regret it.

I've had this credit card for over a year now and I love it. I personally use credit cards like my own personal debit card and pay it off as soon as the statement comes out. It's been really nice though because I've been able to accrue several points with this credit card and I almost always use it on dates for my husband and I. We enjoy using our points on gift cards for classier restaurants. It's like a nice treat for us once in a while and we didn't really have to do much to get the points. It's convenient to pay and use on PNC's virtual bank more

I have had my PNC Bank Points Visa for a couple of years now. I originally got it to help with some expenditures while traveling. PNC has offered great customer service with my banking and the same has followed suit with my Visa card as well. I have had a couple of instances that required my payment to run a couple of days late and they have always been easy to work with and make arrangements. I have taken advantage of the points process as well, earning some great gift cards and discount cards with it. Overall the card has been a big help and is supported well by PNC. more

I obtained my PNC Bank Rewards VISA Credit Card roughly four years ago and I’ve maintained it ever since. The bank originally promoted the card through their points program by focusing on the fact that I would be receiving rewards for paying my bills with their credit card. I have since earned several hundred dollars in rewards and am paying additional bills with their card to earn even more. As with all credit cards, the interest rate is on the higher end of the spectrum, thus I do not carry a month end balance; rather I pay the total amount owed each month to avoid interest charges. It’s by far more

I have had a PNC Points Credit Card since 2008. At first I was pleased to earn points on all of my purchases, but when I closed my checking account with PNC in 2010 because they mishandled my paychecks from work, I was automatically unenrolled from the points program and left with a high-interest credit card with no rewards to speak of. Also after closing my checking account but keeping the credit card, I was no longer able to access my points account online and customer service never helped me resolve the issue. After having this card for a while, I was offered a better interest rate from Capital One. more

I've had the PNC Bank Points Visa Card for about a year now, to help rebuild my credit. I've had no problems with it, and in fact with using their online banking, I was able to pay off my bill from the comfort of my bed on my laptop just by signing into my checking account and transferring money over in a simple process. I tend to not let any money carry over from month to month as I'm still in the process of rebuilding my credit. Plus I want to keep the whole credit line open in case of emergencies with my car or apartment. I'm happy with the more

My husband has been using the PNC Bank's Points visa card for 2 years. Although it is not the best card ever that we have used, it does serve the purpose. The interest rate is reasonable although not the best we have had when it comes to interest rates. I pay my monthly bill and have the full credit every month to use. I do not wait to pay off the bills for long because of the interest rate. We have this card around because we have been having it for a couple of years and we are sure it will help us at some point of time. Overall, I more

My husband and I have had the PNC Banks Points Visa Card for about 5 years now. My husband got it before we were married to build some credit for himself. He also already had PNC so it was one of the few cards he could qualify for. The card has been great over the past few years. It has the lowest interest rate of any of our credit cards, and is the one card we will keep as we close out our other cards. The PNC's points program has also been great. The points program used to be connected to our debit card as well but that has now more

I recently acquired a PNC Bank Points Visa Card because of the simple fact that I already bank at PNC and I always used the points connected to my Debit card. Since the points are no longer available on the debit card, I thought I’d give the credit card a shot. So far, I like it. The points catalog seems to have been expanded and include things like apps for smart phones and tablets now, and the bonus points I received for signing up have already been useful. Granted, I treat this like a debit card and pay it off each month, so I do not let any interest build more

I grew up with parents who were National City customers, and naturally set me up with my own “junior” savings account as a child. Soon enough I had my own checking account when I got my first job, but it was actually not until I moved out of the house that I got a credit card in order to build up credit towards an eventual home purchase. By then, the bank was now PNC, and I picked their Points card because the variety of rewards they had interested me. Sure enough, I was soon using my credit card for everyday purchases such as groceries and gasoline in order to turn more

My first credit card ever was this card. I remember sitting there when I was 18 the bank manager said right before "don't be upset if you are not approved" and then I was cleared for a 3500 dollar limit which surprised me. Over the next four years I abused the card and didn't make smart purchases however working to pay it off was easy and the pnc people helped me out a lot. They offer excellent customer service and a competitive interest rate. Even when I had some late payments I was in a jam one time and they increased my credit limit by 1000 dollars. I wish sometimes more

A PNC card was the first card that I had ever used, so naturally I was a bit worried about getting everything set up. I had nothing to worry about, as I was able to get everything set up without any trouble at all. The best thing about using PNC is without a doubt their amazing customer service, the few times I needed assistance I was on and off the phone with my problem solved in less than five minutes. Asides from that utilizing PNC gives you access to a decent points system, where you can occasionally cash in your points for various gift cards! In conclusion, I have yet more

I was a National City customer until PNC took over. I was worried about the change at first but I have nothing but positive things to say about PNC. I once lost my card and they were really quick to help get me a replacement and helped me with what I needed to know to prevent fraud on my old card. I use this card almost every day and I have never had any issues with it or with PNC. My favorite part has got to be the points that I earn when I buy things with it. I usually try to wait until the end of the year or more

I'm a big fan of this PNC card- it's the main card that I use. I get reward points when I use it and have redeemed them for gift cards (usually to Target!). The customer service is really why I keep the card though- if there is any kind of issue with the card or account the customer service people are eager to correct it and do so promptly. (That being said, there isn't usually a problem with the account.) My experience with this card has been so good that I have used PNC for other banking services. I would highly recommend it! I've been a PNC customer for many years now. I opened up a Visa Credit Card with them several years ago, and have no complaints at all. They were very helpful the time my card was stolen. I called right away, and the woman I spoke to was wonderful. She didn't make me feel stupid or like I wasn't responsible. Within a week I had my new card in the mail, and one charge I did have to dispute, was taken care of right away. There is no hidden charges or fees. This is one card I will never cancel. There is nothing bad to say about this card or more

I don’t have many credit cards, but I really like this one. The PNC/Visa people were very responsive when I had an issue with my card. They raised my credit limit when I requested it after some time of good standing. I really like point system too. I forgot about it for a while, after just using it for gas and little day to day expenses and paying off the balance, I checked my points balance and was able to get a gift card for home depot. I would recommend this card to anyone looking for a first credit card. It was my first card, and I have no complaints. more

This is a card that I had just gotten recently, a little over a month ago. I use it on a daily basis for things such as going out to eat, gas money, and clothing. The quality of the card itself is average to low, however the service is improved from my previous bank. The online banking is a huge step up from what I had and is convenient to me since I earn money online a lot and like to transfer funds from online sources to the card. Overall, it's a nice card if you need something very basic.

I use the card a lot for groceries and gas and online purchases, and it is very easy to go to PNC's website to pay it off. However, one time I was without internet so I tried paying by phone, they said they would charge me a "convenience fee", so I had to go into the bank. I earn points with my purchases, but the rewards aren't very good so I've never used it. I always pay off the card on time so I'm not familiar with the late fees. It's a very basic card and that's all I needed.
