Pottery Barn Store Card's Additional Info
•
Info about the card has been collected by WalletHub to help consumers better compare cards. The financial institution did not provide the details.
•
Choose between 5% back in rewards or 12 Month optional promotional financing on purchases of $750 or more.
Nice initial discount. The Pottery Barn Store Card offers 10% back for the first 30 days when you use your card at Pottery Barn or at any of the seven family brands, as is so common with retailer-affiliated credit cards. So it can be a great option for infrequent Pottery Barn shoppers.
Good rewards for Pottery Barn regulars. As stingy as the Pottery Barn Store Card is up front, it’s even more generous on an ongoing basis. You will receive 5% cash back. And for every $10 in rewards you earn, you will receive a $10 Rewards Certificate.
Promotional financing available. The Pottery Barn Store Card offers 0% for 12 months on purchases of at least $750 and the purchase amount is divided into equal monthly payments. You have to choose between earning rewards or promotional financing on these purchases, though.
No annual fee is not, not unusual. No one wants to pay an annual fee if it can be avoided, so in that sense it’s good the Pottery Barn Store Card doesn’t charge one. But neither do nearly all other store credit cards, so this aspect of the offer isn’t a game changer.
Fairly low credit requirement. Like most other store credit cards, the Pottery Barn Card requires just “fair” credit for approval. You can check your credit score for free on WalletHub to gauge your odds.

Do not use! Terrible and fraudulent company. Pottery Barn shipped us a table we never ordered. They then refused to remedy their mistake. Customer service is worse than anything I have experienced in my life. Capital One was of no help when we disputed the charges and sent us to collections over a table we never ordered. Ruined my perfect credit for the next seven years. Buyer beware!

I have an 800 credit score and make over 100k per year. Applied in store and not approved. I’m so annoyed. Now I have to wait 7-10 days to find out why. Guess they only approved you if they have a chance of making some money off you.

HORRIBLE! - Your rewards come as individual coupons with expirations dates in the very near future. They intentionally hide the reward coupon codes in a hard to find webpage separate from all of your other credit card info. The extremely cumbersome system of entering individual coupons will glitch and tell you certain credits are available even though they have already been applied to another order that just hasn’t shipped yet (and nearly all pottery barn stuff gets delayed for long periods of time) which crashes the system and leaves orders in limbo which they don’t tell you about & even customer service doesn’t understand. It took almost 2 hours on the phone to get that one sorted out. Then they couldn’t even close the account correctly. They said I had a zero balance and card was closed, but they somehow later processed a charge for a couple bucks which then wracked up a bunch of penalties over several months without me knowing cuz they stopped sending me emails & canceled my autopsy. This TANKED MY CREDIT SCORE because they reported multiple months of delinquent bills for an account that didn’t even exist anymore

Do not get the pottery barn credit card managed by capital one, after 12. This yr interest rates will be circa 30% .. for every $50 I pay each mth they take $30 in interest etc so I’m only actually paying off $20!! .. terrible outrageous interest rates.

Stay away from Pottery Barn credit card through Capital One. Nothing against Capital One - we have a Capital One Visa and a money market account and never have had issues. The problem is Pottery Barn & Williams Sonoma stores. I ordered a $50 item online with the PB card. Later I find that a $99.99 free-shipping-for-one-year subscription was added to the card, which I did not order or agree to buy. Spent 3 months and many phone calls in dispute over the charge, and still had to pay. The company is about money, not its customers.

Do not pursue this Capital One credit card under any circumstances. We applied to get the free interest on a bunk bed purchase, and it has given us one headache after another. Every step of the way has required an hour on the phone, and they ultimately charged us interest anyway. A terrible experience that has soured us on Pottery Barn altogether.

Bought a new home and was purchasing a large furniture order. We wanted the pottery barn card so we would get 10% rewards. We were both declined because of our new address. We both have impeccable credit (over 800) and was in our previous address for over 20 years. There is absolutely no one to talk to to get this resolved. We have never been declined for anything ever. I am completely fed up with Capital one and potter barn.

When we placed a large furniture order with PB last year, we opened the Comity bank pottery barn credit card so we could get rewards on our purchase. There were inevitable delays due to the pandemic. When we finally got our items and earned the rewards, we placed a second order to use the reward amount we earned. That order was also delayed, and in the interim, our Comity card was closed and we somehow were sent the new Capital One card. Cue nightmare: we could NOT get the account set up. We wasted hours on the phone with horrible call centers trying to get access to our new account, but couldn’t - years ago we had a Capital One card linked to a now closed department store, and no matter what customer service had us try, we could only “see” this old closed account. The waste of our time was maddening. We’re waiting for a paper bill to be mailed to us so we can pay it and then be done with them. The whole experience makes me not want to shop PB anymore. Too bad. It should not be our responsibility to spend hours and hours of our time trying to help Pottery Barn and Capital One work out the glitches in their program.

Worst Customer Service Company Ever!!! Been a paying customer for over 20 years with their credit card and ordered a piece of furniture - stating it was an "in-stock" item paying over $1500...was supposed to be delivered in 1-3 weeks....now in its 8th week and of course they charged it on my PB credit card 8 weeks ago and now charging $45 a month in interest for an item I have never received and no one knows when I will receive it....called PB Comenity Bank Customer Service to have interest removed and spoke to the most unsympathetic, uncaring and rudest customer service agent who would not do so. I will never purchase from them again or use their credit card....customer service at its WORST!!!

I used a PB rewards certificate to place an order. The item was backordered, and the order was not processed until after the reward expired, so my credit card as somehow charged instead. Pottery Barn refused to honor the reward certificate, and their partner bank (Comenity) refused to initiate a chargeback. Customer services was beyond abysmal, and I was charged $425 that I never authorized.
