I’ve carried this credit card for many years even tho due to loss of sight I haven’t driven in years. It’s helpful to know I have backup to offer those who drive me or even cash advance.

Sunoco card is good for emergencies if they are close by, but with Costco and Sam's nearby and usually a quarter below Sunoco's price, it's not a good deal with the points. The net cost is no savings at all. If your drowning in debt, may be your only option or live in a rural area.

I have had no problem with this card and like the convenience and the percentage I receive on each fill-up. Would recommend this card

Constantly getting extra $25 dollar charges at almost every Sunoco. My Shell card bever has this issue. Seriously considering cancelling this pain in the ass card. Tired of having to call fraud department to resolve this problem.

If you are a regular Sunoco customer, then the Sunoco Credit Card may work well for you. For everyone else, it would probably be better to look for a different card. Most cards will offer introductory rates and give you cas back bonuses (BankAmerica has a rewards card with both). The regular rate is high - particularly since they require good and excellent credit to qualify for the card. You can also find cards that have a balance transfer fee for less than the 5% Sunoco has. Why you would want to transfer a balance to this card I don't know.

The Sunoco Card is an average card as long as you happen to live near a Sunoco station. The ThankYouPoints system for purchasing fuel is above average and pretty generous as long as you can purchase your gas from Sunoco. If you purchase your gas anywhere else though, the benefits of carrying this card just aren’t there. An above average interest rate along with a 5% balance transfer fee just don’t make this card a stand out. Doesn’t surprise me this card is no longer offered.

Although this card is discontinued, the Sunoco credit card would've been a good credit card for someone who drives a lot and always needs to fill up on gas. I would've loved this card since we have quite a bit of Sunoco gas stations in my area so I would've gotten a great deal of rewards just from filling up on gas.

The Sunoco Credit card has no annual fee and a points reward system. I much prefer cash back rewards like the Capital One rewards card, but if you use a lot of fuel, the Sunoco Thankyou Points could be just as rewarding. The interest rate is mediocre compared to other cards in this class, and it has a balance transfer fee of 5% while other cards have no transfer fee. Personally, I don’t think this card would be great for me because of the rewards and the fact that other cards in the same class are a little more generous.
