I first got the Walmart store credit card a year ago and let me say that just in gas alone, this card has paid for itself. I also enjoy the discounts you get that are exclusive to Walmart card holders and get delivered to your email on a weekly basis. Even though I usually pay my bill in full, the flexible payments that are allowed by Walmart are an added bonus in case you are a little short that month. The interest payments could be a little better but hey, the prices are already cheap at Walmart so I guess things balance out. One other thing I should mention is that if you give your payments on time, Walmart will increase your available credit within 6 months. So, to sum up, this is a very easy card to apply for and the benefits pay for themselves in a very short period of time. Enjoy the card!

I have a Walmart credit card, and it's really great! Considering Walmart now sells groceries, it's a good way to consistently rack up the cash back rewards. You can also use it at their gas stations and save 5 cents each time, which is good considering gas is so expensive. The APR is average for a store credit card (which is relatively high), so just make sure to pay it off in full every month. You can also easily use it on their website, which is convenient when they don’t have something in stock at the store. The best aspect is that there’s no annual fee, something really important to me when I have a credit card.

This line of credit wasn't something I realized I had until I happened to look at my Sam's Club card one day and saw the account number on the bottom. At first I was a bit upset that a line of credit had been opened for me without me really being aware of it, but once I started using it I really stopped caring. We do quite a bit of shopping at both Walmart and Sam's and we're able to use this card at both places. We get most of our groceries at Sam's and Walmart, charge them on the card and pay it off a few days later. It helps us maintain a credit history and has come in handy when we realized one of our vehicles needed all four tires replaced.

I have a Walmart card, and have had pretty good experiences with it, and the company itself. I too didn't realize it was an in store only card when I signed up, but I am an active Walmart shopper, so I happily ran with it. I really appreciate as a company how they are very understanding and agreeable, when it comes to scheduling a payment, or options if you are having trouble making a payment. I have found that to be such a serious help in hard times. That notion of helping others, speaks to the integrity of a credit card I think. I did have one bad experience with my Walmart card, if your card strip is messed up in any way, or gives an error, (when you know there are funds available), be aware they cannot type in Walmart credit cards manually in any way. So, make sure not to demagnetize your strip, or scratch it, huge inconvenience at checkout! I do like that you can call in to increase your credit line too, if you are a customer in good standing of course. I like that my payments are really low, although my credit limit allotment was on the low side too. However, I don't have the best credit, so I was thankful to get approved for this one.

DO NOT OPEN A STORE CREDIT CARD IF YOU ARE PREOCCUPIED WITH YOUR CREDIT SCORE AND/OR IF YOUR CREDIT SCORE IS COMPROMISED! That's a lesson that a number of people learn the hard way. Store credit cards are only good in the store with which they are opened, so keep that in mind if you have a tight budget and a close-to-maxed out major credit card. For example: if a misfortune befalls you, such as the breakdown of your vehicle, and you need the money to repair the issue fast, you can't use your store credit card. Store credit cards such as this offer low credit limits; in fact this one can have a limit as low as $1800, and that could raise your debt-to-credit ratio on your credit report. Additionally, the cash advance option on this credit card goes like this: unlike major credit cards, you can only take out a maximum of $60 a day in $20 increments; if you have $19 available, you must wait until it accumulates to $20 for withdrawal. However, if you are looking for a challenge in learning credit management and/or a person who's responsible with his money, then this card will have no real detrimental effect on you. About every other month this card's manufacturers will release a tantalizing promotion, such as "Pay no interest on purchases totaling $299 or more with your *Walmart Credit Card if balance is paid within twelve months". That sounds like a good deal during these tough times!

I have had my Walmart credit card for about for about two years. I have had nothing but good experiences with it. The rewards (cash back) add up over time and prove to be very helpful. I really like the fact that there is no annual fee. Walmart (Discover) approved me for a much higher limit than I originally expected. After three month of good payments, you are eligible to request a credit line increase. I must have done this, three or four times now, and have never been rejected. My limit has almost doubled over the last two years. Another great benefit is the ability to save money on gas at Walmart gas stations. I recommended this card to anyone who wants to save money on gas or earn cash back rewards. If you love shopping at Walmart, then this is the card for you.

I have had my Walmart credit card for about six months now. The application process was very simple and I was approved for a good amount. I got this card to give me cash back on my purchases. I do a lot of shopping from Walmart including groceries, school supplies, household supplies and clothing. The rewards add up after no time. I would suggest this card to anyone that shops at Walmart to start earning money on all your purchases. I also love the fact that I get discounts on gas as well. I have 5 autos and the savings from gas alone is worth getting the card.

I have had my Walmart credit card for a little over year ago now. I decided just to get one after they sent me an application for one in the mail. The application process was easy and fast and I received my card within days. I was expecting my credit line to be small but to my amazement it was a lot more than I was expecting. I love the discount I get from gas at their gas stations too, it's the only place I stop for gas now. I love my Walmart credit card and you will definitely love it too!

Big warning out to anyone looking into getting a Walmart discover card. I took a vacation and right before paid my balance way down by giving them a payment over the phone. 2 days into my vacation my card gets declined. I call them and they tell me they need an 1,000 payment, in the middle of a vacation I do not fight them. When I return home I patiently wait for the bill, it doesn't show up. I call and ask for it, it still was never set, by this time a normal payment is due and they try to get me on a late fee. When I finally get the bill there are no recorded transactions on it, only my balance and nothing of my payments. I call upset asking to send a print out, they were VERY rude. When I finally get the print out surprise there is no record of my first payment, my bank has a record but I am still fighting Walmart on it. There were also some strange charges they couldn't explain to me, I guess it was my fault for telling the customer service rep I was on vacation and seemed like the payment wasn't a big deal at the time. I learned my lesson the card is cut up and account is closed. BE VERY CAREFUL!

I have had a Walmart credit card for about 4 years now. I was recently upgraded to the Discover Walmart card. I love that the Walmart Discover credit card gives you cash back on your purchases. The website is easy to use to track purchases view invoices and make payments. Because of all these great benefits I use this card mostly in place of my existing credit cards. The rate is a little higher than most of my other cards. However, as long as I pay the balance in a timely manner it isn’t enough for me to have to worry about. Plus I benefit from the cash back!

I love Walmart and now I love their credit card too! I love having no annual fee and who doesn't love getting cash back? I adore it. My favorite part about this card though, is the gas savings. I always get my gas from Walmart anyway and now, with my Walmart credit card, I save 15 cents per gallon when I buy it through them. That's great! With the price of gas, every little bit helps and with how much gas I go through just getting to and from work each day that 15 cents per gallon really adds up fast! Love it!

The Walmart Credit Card is a good option for individuals looking to be rewarded on their purchases. Walmart offers a small amount of percentage points based on items you buy in store or at other retailers. These points can be applied to purchases directly in Walmart, using the points to save money on any items of your choice. Most credit card companies don’t offer this kind of incentive. Customer service is excellent, often solving problems quickly and accurately. I have never experienced a problem with this credit card and would recommend them to anybody who is looking for points from their purchases.
