I used to use Walmart card a couple of years ago, when I bought the house and needed to get many things at once. Mainly the TV and Microwave. I am fan of no interest purchases on the things that I need, and their offer was just what I needed. I don't follow the points system much on any card, even on the one I currently have with Amazon. But that is mainly because I very rarely use credit cards. The current Walmart rate is not better or worse than the majority of cards, but they have better financing options even for smaller purchases, which is what I like about more

The gas perks are a plus! I love how it gives 1% cash back. I enjoy this freedom with my Capital One card as well. And the incentive of $25 bonus is a plus! Also, I love working with discover too. Very friendly and great customer service if you ever have a problem! Overall, great credit card.

I have a lot of misgivings about Walmart and everything about them in general but as far as credit card perks go, this is a pretty good deal. The gas perks are pretty good if you live anywhere near a walmart gas station. The FICO score thing is actually a pretty good idea in the sense that it keeps you up to date on what your credit damage is. The extended months of payment are also good since a lot of different income brackets shop at Walmart and extra time to pay things off is beneficial to someone like me with limited cash flow but needs food.

I have never had a problem with my credit card. I like that the minimum payment is so low (only $25) and that I got to pick the time of month that I pay my card payments. I also like the special offers (such as special payment offers for electronic items).

Wal-Mart offers a great credit card for all individuals. The max late fee of $35 is my favorite aspect, considering I sometimes remember a day or two too late. The grace period of 23 days is also a fantastic bonus that makes their card worth it. The No max overlimit fee is also great!!

I have been very happy with this card. I started with the Wal-Mart store card, and they randomly sent me the Wal-Mart Discover card. Their rates are fair, their 0% interest on large purchases is AWESOME, and my credit limit with this is very high. They offered me a higher credit limit than any other card I have. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a Discover card. It's not Wal-Mart's fault, but Master Card and Visa are accepted at a lot more places than Discover. Send me a new Wal-Mart card and make it Visa or Master Card and I'll make my review 5 enthusiastic stars!

Last year I applied and was approved for a Walmart Discover credit card. Its first feature was a $20 discount on the first purchase over $100 in Walmart. But not only that: for three months I got a 15 cents discount per gallon on the gas price, and then a for live 5 cents discount. It´s a great card!

I think that this card has its perks. Right from the start you are getting that savings, and you get savings if you use your Walmart Credit Card at a Walmart gas station. But after that, it seems a bit lackluster. The rewards are not enticing, unless you are a very frequent walmart shopper, who is purchasing upwards of $75 per visit. I think it would be a great card for families, who are looking for that kind of savings, but other than that, it doesn't seem that great. But, every bit of savings does help, especially if you are in a pinch.

If you're a regular shopper at Walmart, the Walmart credit card is very beneficial. Right off the bat if you spend $75 when you open the account, you get $25 as a bonus, which helps! The fact that you don't have to pay interest anywhere from 6-12 months on qualifying purchases, is great. The 5 cent perk at Walmart gas stations is great if you have a gas station at your Walmart, or at a Walmart near you. My hometown Walmart doesn't have one, but the next town over does, so this would be a great perk for me.

The Walmart Credit Card was convenient for a short time. At the time I received my card, they did not offer free FICO Scores, but that is a good perk. I did not feel the rate was any better than other cards I have seen. I did not benefit from bonus or cash back incentives because I never spent the amount required.

I love the fact that you can earn 1% cash back with this card. Also being able to get a $25 bonus right off the bat when you first sign up is a very good incentive. This differs from the master card i currently use and i wish i could have gotten a similar bonus with my card. Lastly, i think that this card is beneficial for most people due to its low ($35) max late fee.

I like the Walmart card because it is in the Discover network. Discover is a great credit card and the one I use. The max late fee for this card is low, you can earn up to 1% cash back which is always useful, and the opportunity to save 5¢ per gallon at a participating Walmart gas station is a nice bonus. If I could make a suggestion about a change to the card, I would suggest a higher return on cents per gallon, as it would encourage more people to join up or make an effort to go to those stations.

I actually enjoy shopping at WalMart, so the WalMart card would be very beneficial for me.
The introductory money back on your first purchase ($25 if you spend $75) is a great
incentive to sign up. Who doesn't want 1% cash back on all of their purchases?
I also love the gas savings since gas is a huge expense for me. While the apr
is fairly high, they do offer an introductory interest rate of 0% for 6-24 months.
This card is great if you are already a regular WalMart shopper and can use it
to get some benefits when you buy groceries or other items you need.

Unlike Walmart itself, the Walmart Credit Card actually seems beneficial and user-friendly. The interest rate is relatively high, but not so bad compared to other store cards. The benefits seem relatively straightforward however with a few kinks in there to make things confusing. Basically, you can accumulate points by shopping in store or online, and you immediately save money on your first purchase, again either in store or online. The best benefit of this card, however, is that you are given a free monthly FICO score as long as you enroll in electronic statements online. This is an excellent tool to monitor your credit and to make sure you're either more

Wow! The Walmart card has some great benefits! There are bonuses, a lower interest rate as far as in store credit cards are concerned. I have seen 24%-25%. Walmart’s is still high, but lower than many others I have seen. In addition, there are promotional periods that offer a 0% APR which is great when you have major purchases, but want to be able to make payments, because they are too costly for a one time buy. There is also not an earn/redeem limit, which I think is GREAT. Even if I have only earned $10, it looks like I can redeem it. Much better than my Discover, which has more

The Walmart Credit Card may be a good card to have on hand if you find yourself to be a regular shopper at Wal-Mart or if you tend to purchase your gas at their stations. The card requires a decent credit score, but still has a 22.9% interest rate, which would be higher than other rates customers may have on other cards. Overall it is not a particularly bad rate and stay inline with typical in-store interest rates. There are also no annual or monthly fees, making the card reasonable to keep on hand. The reward plan doesn't really pay out much of a reward, seeing that 0.25% is a more

You need a higher credit rating to get this Wal-Mart card and in return they have a rate of 23%. Store cards are often high, but I think I would consider other options when looking for a credit card. Their reward system is really almost not worth it as well. They offer .25% on purchases up to $1500. Even if you went on a spending spree and spent $1500 dollars at Wal-Mart that would only net you $3.75 in savings. And who really spends enough on a regular basis to even begin looking at the higher return rates (.50% and 1%)? The cash back reward system on this card is more

Walmart is the universal store that all of us shop at whether we like Walmart or not so if you’re going to go with a store card then it might as well be from a store that you are guaranteed to buy from. This card isn’t at all horrible; it gives you a decent APR for a store card, gives you special no interest offers over the holidays which come in handy for Christmas purchases, and even lets you earn rewards points which are always a bonus. Plus if there is a Walmart gas station near you, you could save 5 cents off a gallon and can avoid getting another more

I really do enjoy the Walmart Credit card- it has great offers around the holidays where I really need the help- no interest for so many months while I pay it off, avoiding interest. The best part of the card though has to be the customer service. Whenever I call in, I always get an american speaking agent, in the US, which I love, and they are more than willing to help me with the card and anything that I may need. I shop at walmart weekly, it really is the most ideal credit card a person could have!! It works so much better than most credit cards work, Macys more

The Walmart Credit Card is a really nice card to have, I mean who doesn't shop at Walmart? Even if you don't like them you will eventually have to shop there. This card has no annual fee which is always good. I don't get why anyone would get one with an annual fee when there is great cards like this with none. Being able to earn up to 1% cash back on all purchases - 0.25% on total purchases up to $1,500, 0.50% on total purchases from $1,500.01 to $3,000 and 1% on total purchases over $3,000. It great because any kind of cash back is always useful it all more

I originally signed up for the Walmart Credit Card for the discount at the register because I was making a large purchase. The plan was to pay it off and cancel the card but when I got home I realized it's not a bad card. It has a high interest rate at 22 percent but that is on par with every other store card. My Sears card is actually a little higher at 24 percent than the Walmart card. Also the Walmart card isn't just for store credit they also offer a decent discount for every purchase and it adds up pretty quickly. I use my Walmart card every week more

The Wal-Mart Discover card is pretty cool because it's the only store/Discover card I've ever seen. They have a sign up bonus where you save $25 if you spend $75 when you up the card, which is nice. No annual fee which is a must for any card I carry. Interest is pretty up there, however you are earning cash back as well as saving 5 cents a gallon on gas. They even offer an additional $20 off a $100 purchase when you open your account online. Lots of sign up bonuses, but the interest is too high to carry a balance.

If you frequent the store like I do, the Wal-Mart gift card is a viable option. However, the rewards seem more like a joke – earn up to 1% cash back? Don’t all, or at least most, cards offer that as their minimum? I really wish this card offered more versatility in its reward program and higher rewards for making Wal-Mart purchases because, let’s be honest, I would probably be making more of my purchases at the Wal-Mart store than I already do. Still, the bonuses, the cash-back option, and the fact that there’s no annual fee make this a decent enough credit card, but there are better ones out more

This one is an impressive card that comes packed with loads of features unlike its competitors! It has everything that would lure buyers into purchases. Crazy cashbacks and reward points make it a must own! For someone like me who purchases heavily on Walmart, this card is truly a saver. But if purchases aren't made there, there is nothing it has to offer fresh. I have studied the Amazon CC to a great extent and its somewhat similar to what Walmart has to offer. This is Walmart's version of Amazon's CC, thats the major difference!

WalMart's Credit Card is actually quite interesting compared to others I have seen recently. The card gets you cash back as you use the card, starting at .25%, and goes up to 1% if you are an avid user. My favorite part about this is the fact you save 5 cents a gallon using this card, it may not sound like a lot, but in this economy where every penny helps it is great! My favorite card is the Amazon CC because you get amazing cash back points but this card is starting to make me really want one from its perks to its low late fee. If you frequently more

The Wal-Mart credit card is pretty cool if you already shop at Wal-Mart regularly. I like that there's no annual fee to use the card, and the maximum late fee is 35 dollars- other cards charge a heftier fee. There are only issues that I see. The first is that you can earn, at most, 1 percent back on purchases. Compared to other in store credit cards, that's not very much. The second would be that you have to have good credit to get the card in the first place. Most of the time if you're doing a lot of shopping at Wal-Mart, you credit score isn't going to be more

The Walmart Discover Card is for people with good credit, and they promise up to 1% back by using it. The problem I have is that almost every other credit card offers you 1% back by default making this cards reward program substandard. You are better off going with the Capital One VentureOne card which gives 1.25% back on every single purchase every day. While the Walmart card has some nice gas perks at 15 cents off per gallon, you have to buy the gas at the Walmart gas store and I personally haven't seen a ton of them where it would be convenient to use it.

The Walmart credit card is a decent option if you are looking for a credit card and do not have sufficient credit for some of the other better cards out there. The APR is on the worse end of what you can get these days and there are not much bonuses from the card itself. I would only really sign up for this card if you don't have any other options available as it gets the job done if you pay your bills on time and don't keep too much of a balance. Overall, I would generally stay away but if you do go to Wal-mart a lot then it more

The Walmart Credit Card might be a good option for those who do a ton of shopping at Walmart, but otherwise it is a pretty standard card. The APR is run of the mill at around 23%, but it doesn't have an introductory period with 0% APR like Best Buy's card. The rewards system is pretty bad for anyone who doesn't buy all of their items at Walmart. You need to purchase $3000 at Walmart to get even 1% cash back. Compare this with introductory cards like the Amazon Rewards card, which give 1% cash back on everything and more for certain items. If you live near a Walmart gas more

I have the Walmart Credit Card, but I never find myself using it. The reward system is horrible; you really have to do nearly all your shopping at Walmart just to qualify for the 1% bonus. The APR is not good at all, and there isnt even an introductory rate. There's only two real reasons to use this card. First, you get $20 dollars back if you spend $100 or more the day you open your card, which is nice if you're buying something right around $100. Secondly, you get a free credit score every month with your statement, which is nice because you don't get a score with your more

The Walmart Credit Card has some great advantages when it comes to other credit cards. One of the things I love the most is saving 15 cents per gallon on gas. With gas prices rising, saving 15 cents can really make a big difference. Another great advantage they offer is that because it is a discover card, you can use it anywhere and for anything. The credit card is not specifically for Walmart use, so being able to use it at other locations and stores is a great help. Not paying an annual fee is a help because most cards require that. The only thing I don't like is only more

I really use my Wal-Mart credit Card a lot! I am always at Wal-Mart and I always need something. It's nice because you can use the cards at other stores too; anywhere they accept Discover cards. The best thing about this card are the savings you get on gas. You can save up to 15 cents per gallon but it is never lower than 3 cents per gallon. With gas prices the way they are today, this is an awesome benefit. I always get gas at the "Wal-Mart" gas station when I'm in town. I also had no problem being accepted with this card and my credit is good, not more

There are definitely a few perks with this Walmart Credit Card. The cash back seems okay, but you really need to spend a lot to get there (I have an Amazon Rewards that I use similar to cash back but the % is better). If you need gas, this saves you on gas at Walmart. And you get $20 off your first purchase, so I can see how they would try to get you to sign up at Walmart. No fees, but not the best APR. Honestly I'm not that impressed, and I thought the savings at Walmart would be better. I guess if you use their gas station a more

The Walmart Credit Card is a decent offering when it comes to store cards, but it lacks certain features that others provide as standard. The initial sign up bonus is ok, however, the cashback discount is low compared to Target's similar card. Target offers a 5% discount in all your purchases, every time, which is superior to the maximum 1% cashback if you spend more than 3,000 at Walmart. Walmart's card has a somewhat high interest rate. However, it does discount cents off when you use their gas stations, and there is no annual fee. It does come with zero fraud liability which is very helpful. Overall, it is a more

I first got the Walmart store credit card a year ago and let me say that just in gas alone, this card has paid for itself. I also enjoy the discounts you get that are exclusive to Walmart card holders and get delivered to your email on a weekly basis. Even though I usually pay my bill in full, the flexible payments that are allowed by Walmart are an added bonus in case you are a little short that month. The interest payments could be a little better but hey, the prices are already cheap at Walmart so I guess things balance out. One other thing I should mention is more

I have a Walmart credit card, and it's really great! Considering Walmart now sells groceries, it's a good way to consistently rack up the cash back rewards. You can also use it at their gas stations and save 5 cents each time, which is good considering gas is so expensive. The APR is average for a store credit card (which is relatively high), so just make sure to pay it off in full every month. You can also easily use it on their website, which is convenient when they don’t have something in stock at the store. The best aspect is that there’s no annual fee, something really important to more

This line of credit wasn't something I realized I had until I happened to look at my Sam's Club card one day and saw the account number on the bottom. At first I was a bit upset that a line of credit had been opened for me without me really being aware of it, but once I started using it I really stopped caring. We do quite a bit of shopping at both Walmart and Sam's and we're able to use this card at both places. I have a Walmart card, and have had pretty good experiences with it, and the company itself. I too didn't realize it was an in store only card when I signed up, but I am an active Walmart shopper, so I happily ran with it. I really appreciate as a company how they are very understanding and agreeable, when it comes to scheduling a payment, or options if you are having trouble making a payment. I have found that to be such a serious help in hard times. That notion of helping others, speaks to the integrity of a credit card I think. I did have one bad experience with more

DO NOT OPEN A STORE CREDIT CARD IF YOU ARE PREOCCUPIED WITH YOUR CREDIT SCORE AND/OR IF YOUR CREDIT SCORE IS COMPROMISED! That's a lesson that a number of people learn the hard way. Store credit cards are only good in the store with which they are opened, so keep that in mind if you have a tight budget and a close-to-maxed out major credit card. For example: if a misfortune befalls you, such as the breakdown of your vehicle, and you need the money to repair the issue fast, you can't use your store credit card. Store credit cards such as this offer low credit limits; in fact this more

I have had my Walmart credit card for about for about two years. I have had nothing but good experiences with it. The rewards (cash back) add up over time and prove to be very helpful. I really like the fact that there is no annual fee. Walmart (Discover) approved me for a much higher limit than I originally expected. After three month of good payments, you are eligible to request a credit line increase. I must have done this, three or four times now, and have never been rejected. My limit has almost doubled over the last two years. Another great benefit is the ability to save money on more
