Meeting of Creditors
Explanation: A debtor is obligated to attend a meeting with the trustee and then examined, under oath, about his/her assets and liabilities. Creditors may also attend.
Background: Also referred to as "going to court" or "the 341 meeting", after the Bankruptcy Code section required by it.
