I went in to return a book bag that we didn't need. I didn't have the recent since it purchased by my father-in-law. I went to the service desk and the cashier said I needed to have one of the stickers that the door greeter hands out for items being brought into the store. Well, we looked at each other and he didn't make attempt to tell me this. I know they had this policy a few years ago but then got rid of it. The cashier at the service desk didn't want to let me return the item because I didn't have the sticker. I requested she bring a more

For my birthday I got 2 Walmart 30 dollar gift cards from my sister. I went the next day to use them I was worried that if the item would cost more than the what was on the gift cards I could not use them. I asked someone to assist me and they told me all you would have to do was pay anything that was over with cash. I was happy to hear that and I even used the self checkout lane with the gift cards with no problems. I recommend Walmart gift cards to anyone as a gift.

I went to Walmart to use my gift card to purchase a new pair of headphones. When I arrived in the electronics section of the store, much to my surprise, I could not find a single pair of headphones. I thought this was weird because my beloved headphones which had just stopped working came from this same Walmart two years ago. I went up and down each isle carefully looking for headphones but found none. I was becoming slightly frustrated and decided it was time to request assistance from someone in the electronics department. I don't know if it's because I was using my wheelchair on this particular day or more

I got my gift card for Walmart as a gift for my birthday. I had been wanting a very specific coffeepot :D I shopped online to find it on the walmart.com website and then had it shipped to store. It was FREE I just had to pick it up there. I did have to wait like 5 minutes or so before someone actually noticed me standing back there but it wasn't horrible just not *instant* service. The checkout with that was a breeze since I had already paid online with my giftcard. Of course while I was there I got some other things for the house and a few groceries. more

I got my Walmart gift card while doing a return at the store. I returned a gift I received but couldn't use and because I didn't have a receipt they gave me a gift card, good for any purchase in the store. I saved it and eventually used it for groceries which was like having a discount. No negatives here, everything about the experience was pretty decent.

While most talk bad about Walmart, and it does have its faults. It is still one of the best places to get great deals. More often than not you can get what you want and get it in one stop. Clothing to food is available and there are many options available There can be long lines but you just have to pick the right tie to go there. I have had little problems returning items as long as i have the receipt and it is within the required amount of time to return the item. Christmas layaway though is my favorite item. Get the things needed for Christmas early and more

I don't usually shop at Walmart (more of a Target person) but I got a Walmart gift card for my birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised. Walmart carries many of the same items as Target except about half the price. As for my gift card, it was cute with little cupcakes on the front and easy to you. I didn't have to set it up online like I did with certain other gift cards, nor did I have to create a pin. I wouldn't mind receiving another Walmart gift card, or even shopping at Walmart.

I do not typically shop at Walmart, but I won a gift card a from my work for a fun contest. I go to Walmart with my girt card and remember why I do not like to shop at this store. My Local store is messy, dirty, and just plain gross- And this is just the physical store itself. I am also unhappy with everything else about the place. So It is Easter and I am in Walmart with my gift card and I cannot find Easter Candy- half of the Easter section is being moved from the Holiday section- so the isles are full of carts of merchandise and more

I gave it 3 stars because I like that they recently started giving you more off for gas, 10 cents instead of 3. But only 3 because I received a 100 gift card for Walmart and I asked a cashier if I was able to use the gift card to buy a Visa gift card to which she said I could. So I got a few things, grabbed a Visa card and went to the register. The cashier started checking me out, had to do groceries first because apparently you can't combine groceries and the Visa card. When we got to the Visa card it took forever for the cashier more

Walmart gift cards are the perfect gift to get and receive. I recently received a Walmart gift card from a family member and went to the store the other day to make a purchase with it. The item cost more than what was on the gift card and so I paid the rest in cash. A few days later I had to return the item because it wasn't not working for what I wanted it to do. Upon returning the item, I had no difficulties. They simply refunded what I had paid in cash back in cash and then gave me another gift card with the original amount on it. more

I was given a Walmart gift card by my grandmother as a housewarming present. I had never shopped there because I heard such awful stories from friends who have shopped there. I went on a Tuesday morning when I assumed it would not be too busy. I had never been so wrong in my life. There were so many people there. If I did not have a calendar I would have mistaken the day for Christmas Eve. I purchased a hard drive and went to the express line and had to wait for 20 minutes! I had a horrible experience there and if I am ever given another gift card more

Sometimes I really like Wal-Mart and sometimes I really dislike them. I really do not like their return policy; even though you have bought something and have your receipt, I have been told that I cannot return items because I have reached my limited amount of returns for that year. I think this is silly because sometimes I just purchase items because they look good in the store and when I get home I really don’t want it or need it and would like to be free to return the items. What I love about Wal-Mart is that they carry a lot of awesome items for cheap. I can find more

I shop at my local Wal-Mart only when I absolutely need to. I never have good experiences with them . The customer service in the store is horrible and the store is filthy. I have received walmart e-gift cards a few times and every time I receive them I print them like it says to and take it into the store to use but when I try to use them to cashiers never have any clue what to do or how to enter them and I end up telling them how to do their job and having to wait forever for them to get management to come tell them the more

We always enjoy getting WalMart gift cards ! We usually get them at work Christmas parties as prizes for games we play as a group. Recently I took a gift card in and wanted to buy a light summery dress to wear around the homestead. I was in the women's clothing department looking on the rack and an employee came up to me and asked if I needed help. I held a casual dress up to me and asked if she thought it would fit me - she said that this particular item usually ran in Junior sizes although it was labeled women's sizes. That was very helpful to me. more

I absolutely LOVE Wal-Mart gift cards. My daughter received one for her birthday and when we went to redeem it, I was skeptical cause all other gift cards I've received I've had some sort of problem, but this one certainly surprised me. The ease that it was to redeem it was very refreshing. I would recommend that everyone get these gift cards for those special occasions where they don't know what the receiver may like.

I think that this gift card is really well put together. Any returns that I have had will just go right on it. I will even use it to load money on it for grocery shopping. Every now and then it will take a little while to work at the register, but besides that it is well worth it! They make great gifts because they sell literally everything you will need for your home. I always recommend these cards to friends and I frequently buy them as gifts!

What is handier than a WalMart Gift Card? Seriously, you can use them for everything they sell with the exception of other financially backed items and they sell practically everything! I recommend them especially for kids and teenagers who love to shop and pick out 'just the right' item that they want on a budget. My grandkids all love getting them and the sense of having a card that is their own! I've given and received quite a few of them and never had a problem or complaint with anything at all!

Walmart has got to be one of the most ideal places for someone to go when they need to shop. In my specific instance I have a super center a mile away and for both shopping and things typical of a department store such as gardening tools or fabrics. Giving someone a Walmart gift card is a solid way to make sure that they're getting something they want beyond the scope of giving them boring old cash. At least this way there is bound to be something relevant to their needs when they go shopping with it, making it convenient and useful.

I haven't shopped at Walmart in ages. I used to think it was convenient and had everything for a reasonable price. Now the lines are always so long and the workers never smile. I'd rather pay a little more to support local businesses and get good customer service. The last time I was there, I waited in line what seemed forever for just two items. I had a coupon, and when I got to check out, the cashier told me it was fradulent. I was very offended. I wouldn't try to steal from a store, even a store like Walmart. If she hadn't been so accusing about it maybe that more

A couple months ago, as I was riding my bike, my bicycle lock broke off. Since I was close to a WalMart, I decided to go there and buy a new lock. There was a problem, though, with locking up my bike since I didn't have a lock I could use. But I went inside the store and told them about my situation and they were kind enough to let me bring my bike inside the store and agreed to keep an eye on it while I bought a lock. So I went to pick out a lock and there was a WalMart associate there to help me pick out more

I've never been a fan of Wal-mart, for all of the reasons people have been hearing for years. But, finances made it necessary to shop -or at least do some price comparisons - there occasionally even so. Then one day they insured I'd never come back. I was looking for a digital camera for my work group to give to a colleague for a wedding gift, since she'd need one for her honeymoon. I knew essentially what features and specs would be appropriate, and I spent a few lunch breaks checking the local stores for the camera I wanted at a good price. One afternoon, I found that camera at more

About a year ago, I went to the Wal-Mart in Mohegan Lake, NY to buy a birthday gift for my brother. I knew he wanted the Samsung Galaxy GS3 for his birthday and get it through a T-Mobile prepaid plan. I was worried that buying a cell phone as a gift would be too difficult because I would have to transfer my brother’s number and carrier info to the new phone. The employee at the store was surprisingly very helpful. Wal-Mart doesn’t have a good reputation for quality customer service so I was shocked that this transaction went smoothly. He explained to me the process for buying a T-Mobile phone more

I usually buy gift cards for all my nieces and nephews for their birthday and Christmas. I find it easier to give them a gift card and let them go get what they want. I mean it is Walmart and they have all the latest toys. My nieces and nephews love being able to buy their own stuff. Walmart has the best prices and will price match other stores. I even do all my grocery shopping there as well. I have found that they are cheaper on the everyday household items. I will continue to give gift cards because that way they can get what they want and you do more

I shop at Walmart often for all my household needs such as food and clothes. I have never had a problem and whenever I am having trouble finding something an employee is always around so I can ask for help. They always have low prices on many items that I buy often this and the helpful staff keep me going back to Walmart. The only thing that annoys me sometimes are the long lines at the checkout but that is only because a lot of people go shop at Walmart. One thing that I would change is to put back layaway and not just for the holidays sometimes I do more

I do all my shopping at Wal-Mart, they seem to have the best prices, as well as the greatest selection of the products my family needs. The only thing I really dislike about the chain is that most Wal-Mart stores seem to be underemployed, particularly at the checkout registers. The last time I visited Wal-Mart I had to wait almost 20 minutes in line! I actually pulled out my e-reader and was able to read a few pages before I finally got checked out… The whole trip took over and hour and it seems like this happens every single time I visit the store. Even the express checkout lines are more

I think that Walmart is one of the worst stores I have ever had the pleasure of going to. From when you first walk in you immedietly want to leave. All the employees usually have something wrong with them and the assistant managers and the manager are very unhelpful and rude. one experience of mine was I was going there to buy some clothes. I went inside, started looking at some clothes, I picked up a few and then put them back, the employee sitting over by the clothes section then gets angry at me for messing up the pile of clothes and is rude to me when I ask more

My Wal-Mart Gift Card worked just fine for me! I received a $50 gift card from my best friend and I was able to spend it immediately on what I desired. Wal-Mart is a solid department store with a fine selection overall. I can find just about anything that I want there: groceries, trendy clothing, cosmetics, and small appliances. The store lines can get pretty long, but this is mainly because everyone is trying to cash in on the daily deals! My cashiers are always pretty friendly but awfully busy (with good reason). I am fully satisfied with my experiences at Wal-Mart and with my gift card. No doubt about more

I have shopped at WalMart for years, and rarely can the prices be beat, but I’d never considered it a place to get something specialty/healthy before, but I learned my lesson just recently. We got a new puppy this year and no matter what food we tried him on, he was always itchy and had stomach problems. We figured this had to be due to allergens in his food, so kept trying different brands, including some insanely expensive brands from the pet stores. Where did we end up finding the solution? In the aisle of our local WalMart. WalMart’s Natural Life dog food has none of the regular allergens, and more

The Walmart Gift Card was the least advantageous gift card for me and all my needs, especially because of its all unpleasant surprises. I expected more convenience, but I was wrong and so was my best friend when he had recommended it to me. He said that there were many benefits of using it. I had just tried to purchase some things, but their quality was pretty poor, so I tried to give them back and take my money back, so. I didn’t manage to do that, it was horrible. Much money for nothing! The prices are as good and reasonable as the products are. I don’t recommend this gift more

I have had good and bad experiences with my Walmart gift card. I love the fact that the gift card is so versatile in that it can be used at the gas station at Walmart as well as in the store for purchases. And I even got a discount on my gas when using the gift card which was an extra bonus. I find it really convenient that the card can be loaded online and you don't have to go to the store just to add money to it. These were all fantastic perks to me. However, I live in Florida and my family in Ohio and when I had more

I went to the Vestal, NY, Walmart one evening and purchased a PC game I had been wanting for a little while. When I got home I opened the box to install it on my PC and found out that someone had sliced through the security tape with a razor blade and slide out the CD that had the key on it that was needed to activate the game. I called Walmart and asked to be transfered to the Electronics Department. I explained to the associate what had happened and asked if there was another copy of the game there I could exchange my box for and she said yes. more

I've almost never had a good experience at a Walmart. One of the worst times was when I went around 1am and even though there were probably a good 50 people at the store, they still only had one register open. So once I got my stuff, which was only about 3 items or so totaling $10 I had to get in a line that stretched from the register all the way back into the clothing section. Since I wanted to get home I went over to the self-checkout only to be told that I wasn't allowed to use it after a certain time. I was told by a Walmart more

I really dislike getting Walmart gift cards. I would much rather get a cash gift than be forced to go to Walmart to spend my money. The selection is fine, but the last time I went there the service was just horrible and that seems to be the norm. Walmart is the only store I have been to that has more than half of the registers closed even on the busiest days, and the last time I was there they even closed a register right as I got to it. I shop at the Walmart in Leicester, Massachusetts almost every week and I am a very satisfied customer. The store is always clean and the prices are great, too! I bought a bunch of colorful tank tops this summer for only $ 3.88 each. You can not beat that. I do most of my grocery shopping at this store, as well. The fruit and vegetable department is great. I buy tomatoes and bananas every time I shop here, and they are always fresh and delicious. Additionally, the lines are not usually very long in this location and the cashiers are very friendly, too.

Walmart gift cards are my favorite gift cards to get. They never expire and you can essentially use them just like a debit card. I'm able to add more money to my card and check the available balance online or by asking a cashier to check it for me. It's kind of a tradition for my parents to give me a Walmart gift card on Christmas. I'm an adult now and no longer live at home and I still look forward to opening my Christmas card and seeing it. Last Christmas, like every other, I received my gift card and used it to by myself a gift. I ended up more

Walmarts a great store, it carries almost anything you could need in one stop. They have an automotive department where you can even buy reasonable priced tires while you shop. I hate having to stop at a bunch of places to get all my shopping done. So I go there for my food and house supplies. I even can get my babies diapers in the big box, also they have a wide selection. Most places will only carry one of each brand, Walmart carries each brand and the different types of that brand. They have the store set up in sections, with the sections labeled baby, auto, electronics, etc. So more
