Home Depot is one of my first choices for garden purchases. I find the folks who work in the garden center are generally knowledgeable, though they rarely know more than I know about plants! On a recent trip one of the employees directed me to a clearance section where I found some good bargains. Thank you!

There are a lot of ads that make it seem that this and other big box stores are hard to navigate, and not very personal. I've always found Home Depot to be easy to get around in, and the staff has been knowledgeable and helpful every time! Just the other day I was looking for straps and bungees to secure a kayak on my roof, and an employee helped me find the right products, and even showed me a deeply discounted set of bungees that no one was buying (as far as he knew, it was mispriced, but a great deal at $0.88 for a 4-pack!) Good selection, good prices, more

As a previous owner of many properties I was constantly running back and forth to Home Depot for supplies when fixing electrical, plumbing or just choosing out paint colors. When it comes to running new plumbing my head generally seems to spin around like the exorcist, however the plumbing department at Home Depot always seemed to have the answers and were very helpful. I often found myself in situations where I just couldn’t quite figure out which pieces went together. The plumbing experts at Home Depot were always there to try and figure out what it was that I was trying to convey to them. In most situations they definitely more

I don't go to Home Depot often. Nether my husband or I are mechanically inclined and if you ever see one of us pick up a hammer or a screwdriver you should probably run in the other direction as fast as possible to avoid being hurt by mistake. One day, however, the trip lever on our toilet broke and flushing became a hassle. We decided to look at walmart for the part that we needed. There seemed to be lots of choices and we didn't really know what we were doing so my husband vetoed the idea of buying one there. On the way home we passed by a Home more

I love Home Depot. I have a serious habit of finding projects and my wife is convinced its just to have an excuse to go shop Home Depot. As soon as you walk through the doors your are greeted with Isles with shelves that appear to reach the heavens. They go on forever and are absolutely packed with product. The last time I went it was to price out some chain link fencing. Now when it comes to product they are great, knowledgeable employees is another matter. This time was a miss. The guy offering me help didn't have a clue and set off to find someone else who was. more

I have always enjoyed shopping at the Home Depot and over the years have always had great experiences there. But on my last trip there, I was really impressed with a gentleman that worked in the lumber section, and heres why. I was building a gazebo and was at the first stage of planning and buying supplies. I had done my research and talked to friends that had experience building things in the past, and thought that I was heading in the right direction. I approached the man to get assistance with selecting lumber, and he asked me what I was building. I told him, and followed with my plans more

I travel a lot for work, and find myself in a Home Depot somewhere in the country at least once every trip. I seek out Home Depot over other hardware stores, because I know they will have what I need and gladly help me locate it in the off chance they are sold out. I like how consistent each location is since I go to so many different locations. Their prices are very fair. I've rarely had a reason to use their return desk, but every time it has gone smoothly and left me happy. I will continue to use them for any hardware needs. My only complaint is they more

We have been doing a lot of redesign on our house (new light fixtures, lots of paint, etc.), and Home Depot has been our shop of choice for everything needed for that. While they are close to home and have a great selection of all the items we need, our main reason for continuing to shop there is that they are extremely helpful. I’ve had a lot of various questions about the paint and lighting, and every time the employees at our local Home Depot have been extremely helpful, saving me both time and money on our projects. I would highly recommend that anyone doing work on their house head more

Going to Home Depot is almost like a reward or treat for me. I'm comfortable with the way the store is laid out, and the people there are friendly and helpful, not pushy. Most of the time I know exactly what I want and where it is in the store, but for the times I need help, their staff (easily recognizable in the orange aprons) can always point me to the right section or knowledgeable person. The hardware guy in particular always know exactly what I'm talking about, even if I don't know the actual name of the device. Last time I was there, I needed a spring loaded piece more

We recently bought a older home that needed lots of repairs, Home Depot, has been the store that we use the most when buying things for our new, old house. The whole staff from nuts and bolts to garden department are always willing to help. Believe me, we had very little knowledge when it came to remodeling but with their help have created a beautiful home. One of the best things when it comes to Home Depot is their return policy, we have got materials and realize we bought to much and they accept them back with no hassle at all, customer service is excellent. The other really great thing more

I love giving Home Depot gift cards for birthdays and holidays. Its great because unlike a generic gift card, with a Home Depot gift card one can create something unique that they made themselves. I recently did some home renovations and it seemed like I was at Home Depot every day for 6 months on end. The staff at my local store was always friendly and helpful. With the money I saved (from doing the big project myself) I took my wife on a mini vacation. Every Home Depot that I've been into (even ones in the hearts of big cities) has been spacious and easy to navigate. No complaints more

I only recently started shopping at Home Depot and I couldn't be happier with my shopping experiences with them thus far. My wife and I recently purchased and home and were in need of a great many things. Applying for credit with them was as easy and filling out a form on their website and contacting them over the phone to answer some security questions. They gave me a code to present to their customer service desk, who then gave me a temporary card. After purchasing everything we needed, all we then had to do was cut the yard. Shopping was much for fun than yard work.

This is a great choice for a gift to any homeowner. There is always something to do around the house and it's nice to have a little something toward your next project. I recently received a Home Depot giftcard after buying a house. It is great because there is no hassle at check out and as far as I know, no limitations on what you can use it for. I was able to get a lot of the paint for my home with the card. You can also use the card to order online which is a helpful option. This is a great idea!

Who doesn’t love Home Depot? I was given a Home Depot Gift Card for my birthday from my uncle and I loved it! I had just moved into a new house and wanted to fix it up and change some things so this was perfect for me. I was able to purchase some painting supplies and new tools with my gift card and even had a little left over. The card was really easy to use and I had no issues. I don’t know if there was an expiration date on it because I used it within two months of getting it. I love Home Depot!

Home Depot has become one of my favorite stores for many reasons. Since I have started remodeling I have found that everything I need is located at this store. The staff there is informative and is always willing to help. By getting a gift card to this store, the expense of home repair projects can be dramatically reduced. This can allow for do-it-yourself projects to be done easily. There is some guidance available as well. The staff can tell anyone how to do a certain project, what safety precautions to take, and what materials are needed. Overall, the staff and products of this store are great to me.
