Adrienne Dowling: I think the best card out there, for people with limited credit history or are rebuilding credit is the Capital One Cash Rewards Card. You get 1% cash back on all purchases plus you get 50% cash back on the rewards you earned throughout the whole year. There is no APR until May of 2014, which is also awesome. Capital one is also great when it comes to giving credit increases and reporting to the credit agencies on time, every month. I absolutely love my Capital One Cash Rewards card.

Joseph Dowling: I think the VISA® Platinum from Credit One Bank is the best deal out there for people rebuilding their credit. It is easy to get and the update your credit score every month. It is nice to see your credit score improving every month. I have other cards that have higher interest rates.

Anonymous User: Chase's Freedom Credit Card is, without a doubt, one of the best credit cards out there. I was able to transfer my mediocre balance with 0% interest and all of my purchases for the first fifteen months won't accrue any interest either. The APR I was quoted is also extremely low, and my credit is just slightly above average. Just speaking about the basic rates and terms, the Freedom Card is great. The bonuses and rewards are really what set this card above all others though! If you spend more than $500 within the first three months, you get $100 cash back! You get 1% cash back on ALL purchases, and then up to 5% on different categories that change quarterly.

David Bishop: Slate from Chase has to be the best deal among these. It has one of the longest 0% intro periods (some don’t even have any in the first place) and no transfer fees. Also, after that extended period of 0% APRs, you’re met with one of the lower ranges of regular APRs that there is to offer. There may be no rewards, but that doesn’t matter with no annual fee and a low APR, who needs a little bit of flying or a fraction of the penny on dollars spent? Give me the solid fundamentals and I can do without all the “fancy” stuff of the other cards. This card is simple, solid, and gives the best deal by quite a bit.

Anonymous User: I personally believe that the best credit card deal, especially for students, is the Discover Student Credit Card. You get $50 of rewards after a certain amount of purchases within a couple of months of registration and you can get $50 for each referral that you get to sign up too! You get cash back based on various months/seasons too! For example, you could get 5% cash back on food between February and April! If what you're purchasing isn't under the promotion they have going on, they give you 1% cash back regardless on all purchases. I haven't add any issues with this card and I am definitely loving it so far!

Anonymous User: You really can'y go wrong with the Capital One No Hassle Rewards card. When you look at the other cards that don't have an annual fee this one is my absolute favorite. This is because it has no annual fee, but 1.5% back on all major purchases. I was considering the Capital One Venture card because it had 2% back, but when I saw that it had an annual fee I decided against it. On top of that, I learned that they have quarterly deals on the Capital One site that you activate for additional cash back at places like Starbucks.

Justin Parker: The Citi Diamond Preferred Card is, in my opinion, the best card available right now. I qualified for the low end of the APR range. To me, the low APR and the 0% on transfers and purchases for the first 18 months is the key selling point. I do not really care about "rewards" because most of them are overpriced for what they provide. The 0% interest is far more valuable to me than a gift card. When I qualified for the card, I transferred the balance from a different Bank of America card, and paid the balance off MUCH quicker than I would have had I left it on the Bank of America card to continue to accumulate interest. Even after the 0% period expires, I can continue to use this card because the interest rate is so appealing. Also, as an added bonus, the online card management system that Citi uses is simple to use. They recently improved it a month or two ago to make it even more user friendly. I have no complaints.

Sheryl Papageorgio: I have to go with the Capital One Cash Rewards card for the best card out there right now. You get 1.5% back on every purchase, with no revolving categories or anything you need to activate online first. There is also no annual fee that cuts into the cash back you get back. I have yet to see a card that gives more than 1.5% back as a default lowest rate on every purchase without an annual fee.

Anonymous User: I worked really hard on my credit and was finally eligible for one of the top reward credit cards. After much debate I went with the Chase Sapphire Preferred. To me this is one of the best reward cards on the market. What initially drew me to this card was the fact that you could earn 40,000 bonus points in the first 3 months if you spend 3k or more. You earn 2x points on travel and dining purchases and 1point on everything else. For the first year there is no fee to have the card and after that you have to pay $95, which I think is a pretty good deal considering you can easily double/triple that in reward points.

Lucas Sansone: My favorite credit card is the BankAmericard Power Rewards from Bank of America. I have had this card for quite awhile, and I have earned a lot of reward points. Their reward store is very large, and it does not take many points to start getting them. They also have a very competitive interest rate. My introduction rate was zero for the first year. I also am a huge fan of the online access they offer from their website. All my accounts (checking/savings/credit card) are in one place. It is very easy to manage my money and make payments. I recommend this card to anyone who has a Bank of America account or just wants to have a great credit card.

Diana Ferrara: I think the best credit card on the market is the Disney Rewards Visa card. I had a 0% balance transfer rate for 12 months, and the interest rate is also relatively low. It’s a variable rate, but has been at 9.24% for the past few years. The rewards system is also really simple and useful. It was easy to access my rewards, and they even changed the way they give out the rewards so you get more use out of it. They also have other perks like 0% interest on Disney trip charges, and I recently booked a cruise with it and got a $50 onboard credit. I love this card!

Anonymous User: I think the Citi Diamond Preferred Card is the best credit card I have ever used. This card does require much better than average credit but if you qualify you may not want to use other cards because of the benefits. The perk that I appreciate the most is it offers 0 % interest for the first 18 months. If you make regular payments you may never have to pay interest. You can't get a bank loan that is better than the Citi Diamond Preferred Card. If you happen to get into the interest period the rates are pretty average. The late fees aren't that bad either. The no interest for 18 months makes up for there not being any reward incentives.

Rebecca Coffman: The best credit card on the market right now is Chase BP Rewards Visa. I've had it for four or five years now, and I love getting rebates on something I'm going to be buying anyway--gas. With gas prices so high, it's nice to get some money back from these purchases. Luckily, there are lots of BP stations around me, but if they're not plentiful in your region, then this obviously isn't the card for you. I applied for this card when I was in college and had pretty low income (but good credit) and I had not problems being accepted. But anyway, as I said, I've been using this card for four or five years, and I haven't had any troubles with it.

Georgeia Mangione: I love my Chase Amazon Rewards Visa. I have other cards as well, but this card has rewards that add up very quickly. The card earns rewards on all purchases, not just purchases from Amazon, although those purchases do earn more points. I do use the card a lot, for gas and groceries, to earn points more quickly. When I check out at Amazon, I have an option to use the rewards points for the purchase. These rewards points equal dollars, not some percentage, so they are easy to calculate. I pay off the balance each month on all non Amazon purchases, and most of the Amazon purchases have a six month no interest option. All in all, I have paid no interest on the card and have earned hundreds of dollars in Amazon merchandise just by using the card. This card is really like getting money for free. It has worked out so well that my daughter got one too!

David Kauffman: My favorite credit card out there right now is the CapitalOne VentureOnce card. It has a default cash back amount of 1.25% with no annual fee. Most cards I've seen only give you 1% back by default, so that extra.25% really can make the difference if you are putting everything on the credit card. There are no revolving categories that you have to remember to activate either, which I hated with other cards. Overall I think it's been really good, and it's a bright shiny gold so I can find it in my wallet quickly! Other than the rewards, Capital One has great fraud detection, an easy to use web site for paying your bill, and great benefits if you are doing transactions in other countries where you don't have foreign transaction fees.

Marina Moore: In my opinion, I believe that the best card on the market right now is the Amazon.com Store Card! I use it all the time, and love the 6-month No Interest deals if you purchase items over $149. I like that I can shop Amazon whenever I want and have my purchases go to my card, since the card is added to my account, and I don't have to 'add' a card each time I want to buy something. I pay off my balance each month, or within the 6-month No Interest time frame. If you don't, the interest can eat you up! There is no annual fee, and the card does not expire.

Scott Bogle: The Capital One Cash Rewards for Newcomers card is the best credit card on the market because it offers outstanding rewards and is from a leading bank with good customer service. I travel often for work and leisure and they offer 2% cash back on travel purchases, so I've already made money using the card. Another plus for travelers: there's no foreign currency exchange fee when using the card abroad. They also offer 1% cash back on all purchases. I've never had a problem with my bill or getting a hold of someone at Capital One when I needed customer service. I really recommend the card to anyone looking for a rewards credit card.

Anonymous User: Capital One's Cash Rewards is an excellent credit card. I had limited credit history, and even though it was great, I was still being denied for credit cards. There's no annual fee, which to me is so stupid. If you're already paying interest, why do you need to pay a fee? Especially if you're getting a rewards card. Essentially they cancel each other out. My APR was 0% for the first year, which is awesome. I do, however, get rewards for ALL of my purchases. I also got $100 cash back because I put my insurance payment on my credit card. If you don't have a lot of credit, definitely check out this card.

Jake Jones: The Lowes Store card is fantastic. Yes you can only use it in the Lowes stores but it is a great way to build your credit. There are so many different options when you sign up, from no interest for a certain amount of time, or extra discounts for using your card for purchases or both! My refrigerator quit on me recently and I didn't have the money to buy a new one. I bit the bullet and applied for a Lowes credit card. Not only do I have 18 months to pay interest free same as cash but I got an extra 10% off the fridge. The online bill pay makes payments simple and I can set it up so they are automatically withdrawn.

Julie Petersen: The Capital One Cash Rewards (for Newcomers) is one of the better cards, especially for people trying to establish credit. I had gotten a Capital One Card years ago with less than perfect credit and they gradually increased my credit line over time. There's a 2% on travel purchases and 1% on other purchases. Having no annual fee is a plus with this starter card. The interest is a bit high with this card but that can be avoided by paying the balance in full each month. With steady purchases and timely payments, one can get the credit boosting they deserve.

Anonymous User: I had pretty good credit. I would put on large purchases a couple of times a year and pay them off pretty quickly. I switched to the Citi Thank You Card once I realized how much I was paying in interest and fees. What a relief! I didn't have to pay an annual fee anymore, my hefty balance that I transferred wouldn't accumulate any interest for 15 months, and I started getting 1% cash back rewards on all of my purchases. That's a steal! I don't spend a lot on my card every month, but something like this definitely makes it worth it for me.

Kim Su: If you shop online, specifically Amazon.com, the Amazon.com Store Card Credit Card is definitely the card you want to buy. All payments are made through the Amazon.com website. It's pretty low tier when it comes to credit cards, but you can't beat the 6 months no interest financing on all products over $149 and 12 months no interest financing on purchases $599 or more purchased on Amazon.com. There's also no annual charge so you don't even have to pay to use this card unlike most credit cards nowadays. Amazon.com also literally has the largest variety and selection of goods on the market for the most competitive prices.

Frank Papageorgio: The best credit card deal out there right now is the Capital One Venture Card. It gives you 2% back as a base on every single purchase with no cap to the amount of rewards you can earn. The best part about it is that you don't need to go online to sign up or activate categories which I was always forgetting about with my Case Freedom card. As long as you spend over $8,000 a year you'll officially break even with the annual fee and be better off not getting the Venture One card that is 1.25% with no annual fee. And to top it all off, as a new cardholder you'll get the fee waived for the first year plus a $100 bonus which is the equivalent of 10,000 miles.

Gwen'z Little Clozet: I would say the best credit card out there is the Chase Freedom card as I it offered a waived annual fee when I first got it and a low interest rate. The rewards that they offered were not the best but I was able to rack up points and got some cool stuffs. I mostly used it when I traveled and when I shopped so that I could easily earn the rewards. I had this when I was still in school and it was my second credit card and after just 6 months of good payment history they were able to increase my limit doubling it and I was pretty stoked about that.

Anonymous User: I have the Capital One Cash Rewards Credit Card and think this is a really great card for people like myself with average credit. You still get some benefits of a reward card while building your credit to qualify for the next level cards. The main feature with this one is that you earn one percent cash back on all purchases with there being no limit on the amount of cash back you can earn. One other plus is you get 50% bonus on the total cash back you earn every year. The interest rate is a bit higher and there is an annual fee but this is pretty standard for all mid range cards in this credit category.

Allison Dixon: The best card on the market right now, is the Capital One Venture rewards card. If you’re like me, and love to go on vacations and earn points for all the shopping you do, then it’s the card or you. At first I was hesitant about getting a rewards credit card, because I thought I would be paying hidden fees, and that was not the case. I ended up saving money on all my trips, and traveling is much more affordable. I get points for the most simplest of things, like points for gas, fast food and more. It’s a card that works for you, and gives you something back, more than just a bill.

Anonymous User: I am absolutely loving my Chase Freedom Visa Card! When I transferred my balance from my old card, I only had to pay 3% interest, which really wasn't that bad. I bought a bunch of stuff for school and after spending $500, I got $100 cash back. How awesome is that? Now I get rewards back for everything! Every purchase is at least 1%. Some purchases are worth 5%! That doesn't sound like much, but that really adds up, especially since the rewards don't expire ever. My APR is fair and based on my pretty decent credit score. It really pays to have good credit and to watch your financial situation closely!

Anonymous User: THe best card out there on the market right now is the Capital One Cash Rewards card. It is the only card that has no annual fee but has a rewards base higher than 1%. The Capital One Venture card offers 1.25%, but the Cash Rewards card offers 1.5%. It's great because you don't have to worry about breaking even with an annual fee, revolving bonus categories, or remembering to reactivate your rewards every quarter. I can't recall how many times I've forgotten to do that with other cards and then realized it AFTER I made a big purchase. And to top it all off, no caps to the rewards you can earn! What's the point of earning 5% back at grocery stores every quarter if it's capped at $1,500? The Capital One Cash Rewards card still offers additional opportunities to earn more miles. Such as through their online portal where you can buy from certain websites, and they do have specific stores that change every couple months that you can earn additional cash back with. But it's the base of 1.5% which makes this the best card deal out there right now.
