VISA Credit Cards

Contrary to what many people think, VISA does not issue credit cards. The company is actually a card network, which means it dictates where a given credit card will be accepted as well as what types of rental car insurance, extended product warranties and other perks cardholders receive. VISA is the most widely accepted card network in the world, accepted at more than 30 million merchant locations and 1.4 million ATMs in more than 170 countries.

At the very least, we recommend expanding your search beyond just the following VISA credit cards (some of which are issued by CardHub’s partner…show more

I use the Amazon Visa because the rewards points really add up for me. I do have a favorable interest rate and payment terms. My complaint is that I tend to use the card shopping at certain online retailers (ahem...), and I find it very easy to overspend on impulse buys. I'm thinking of switching to a prepaid version of this card so I can only spend within a certain predetermined price limit. Regardless of my bad habits, though, I'm very happy with the card!

My primary credit card is the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. I use it primarily to make purchases online and when traveling. Because of the great rewards program that Capital One offers I plan to start using my card more often on stuff like groceries, gas, medication and household supplies. I hope to be able to pay for my family's airline tickets for our vacation next year with my rewards points.

I use a United Airlines Visa card as my primary credit card. I really enjoy the reward miles I get by using this card. These reward miles pay for my vacation airfare every year. If you put most of your expenses on a credit card and like to travel, I would highly recommend this card.

I have an Amazon Visa rewards card through Chase bank. This is my everyday go-to card. I get 3% back on Amazon purchases and 1% or 2% on purchases elsewhere (groceries, restaurants, etc.). I've been using this a bit less lately because I've gotten some new cards that offer more at specific locations. For example, I'll use my Target card at Target, and I've taken to buying groceries with an AmEx card because I get a higher percentage back. But I still love my Amazon Visa because I earn rewards points at Amazon with it. I've built this up to a hefty bundle now, and one day I'll buy a major item (TV? laptop?) with them. They don't expire, so you can let them accumulate in your account for when you really want or need to spend them.

I use the Amazon Visa credit card. What I like about it are the rewards. I shop a lot at Amazon so the fact that it lets you use your points towards your purchase at Amazon is great. I also like that there is no minimum. If you have $1 worth of points then you can apply that to your Amazon purchase. You can also save up your points and get other things like for example cash but in this case you'd have to have at least $20 before you can cash out.

I just recently got the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card and I am loving it. It has great rewards and best of all it is widely accepted. Fortunately, I was able to secure a high limit so I was given the Visa Signature version of the card. Because of this, the card comes with many of the purchase and travel protections that you can find in AMEX cards for example. The only difference is that VISA can be used almost anywhere and this is a huge plus whenever I need to carry a card that can be used anywhere.

I use my Visa credit card way more than I use any of my other credit cards. It's very convenient that anywhere that accepts credit cards, they accept a Visa card. One thing that I would change is their rewards programs, so that they are more inclusive and do not have as many restrictions. Other than that, it is a great card and would suggest that everyone gets and uses a Visa credit card.

When I had my Visa credit card I liked almost everything about it minus a few things. Customer support. I was late on one payment due to a credit card change and they jacked up my rates. Other than that my experience with Visa was not bad at all. Just watch out for your card info. They will not watch out for you.
