You can only send money to an AccountNow card from another AccountNow card. If that's the case, it's free and you can send up to $300/day ($500 if you upgrade to Gold and participate in Direct Deposit).
If you don't have an AccountNow card, you could try PayPal or Venmo to send money to someone.
There are two easy (and free) ways to check the balance on your AccountNow VISA Prepaid Card: Through your online account at: my.accountnow.com; OR By signing up for mobile text alerts (instructions are here: https://gold.accountnow.com/services/sms_textAlerts.aspx) You can also check your balance at an ATM, but that costs $1.50 each time you do it.
You can load your AccountNow Gold card at several retailers. You can find participating REloadit Pack retailer locations in your proximity here. After purchasing you REloadit Pack, you can load your card online, or via phone at 888-633-9434. You will need to provide your 10-digit scratch off PIN from your REloadit Pack, the load amount, and your 16-digit AccountNow Prepaid Card Number.
From experience we can say that usually you can't overdraw a prepaid card account. However, you can get in touch with customer service at 877.984.7465 and ask for more information.
If you forgot your PIN code, you can give them a call at 866.925.2036 so they can verify your information, after which you will receive a new PIN code via mail.

I've been a member with this card service for over 5 yrs. I have nothing but bad experience. At one point i couldnt even talk to a person if I had problem. Cant get in contact with the bank. Whenever the money isnt there, customer service would say check the company thats sending the money. Its always a back and fourth. I had an issue recently where the ATM didnt give me money, the customer service lady, told me I had to wait for the dispute, then got a email saying i have to print out and send my dispute. How am i supposed ro get my missing $100? Everything is closed I cant print anything anywhere. Then right after that, i mistakenly canceled my card and put for a new one. I called back saying that it was a mistake, they said it was nothing they can do. So I would have to wait 7 to 10 business days for a new card. Not only my card still hasnt came through the mail, but i cant tranfer any money to an o.j ther account. I am a mother of 2, i havent been able to provide anything for kids because my card still is not here. Then i was reminded by a friend that they can do express 3 day shipping if I pay 25 dollars. But its too late for that option now because the customer service never told me this. So not only I couldnt get my card any time soon, but account now charged me a whole 20 dollars for a new, that still hasn't came. So at this point i lost out on $120. And there is nothing i can do. I cant even go on the website or call to make a complaint because there is no option for that. If i could give it 0 stars i would. Im done with this card account, and moving on to another.

I've had this card for quite some time now and in the beginning it was a very good company I was getting my paychecks two days faster like it was advertising no problem up until 2 years ago when all the sudden it went from two days earlier to a day earlier period got over it learn how to work with the day earlier paycheck up until today when I get up just knowing my paycheck is on my card and nothing. The funny thing is I went to my job I went to payroll I had them call their Bank their Bank show me evidence that they sent my direct deposit off Wednesday morning and this company is telling me they have no notification but I have 5 co-workers that I have sent to this company and they're getting their paychecks on Wednesday two days early you would think a loyal customer would get better service but all this company keeps doing is reading me a bunch of b******* script lines and can't give me an answer on why my paycheck is still not on my card this company is starting to be a bunch of b*******

I have both cards the blue and the gold and never had a problem for over 2 years until I had to make an international purchase and I was informed by customer service that you could not make an international purchase... also I never really use the car but once a month anyways and that's to pay bills.... So at this moment I have no need of switching card I'm content where I am and hopefully I'll stay that way... Thanks account now also the fees are pretty steep but they're worth it... P.s someone said something about being able to get a rental car with account now card that's not true I tried already and they want you to have a bank account not a prepaid card just FYI....

I give ZERO stars. Account now charges $9.95 in order to use your money. I have other prepaid cards through green dot and no-one charges that much. Don't bother calling because everyone is incompetent and aren't able to assist you. DO NOT USE ACCOUNT NOW.....

Worst experience ever lost card and paid the $25 expedited shipping never received card called they gave me a tracking number that didn't exist and than wanted us to pay fees again to ship we said no so now we have to wait 7-14 days to get another card sent hope we get this one never use this company they steal and now I just hope we get out money st all!

I thought a charge was on my card that I may not have done I told them I wanted to make sure so do not cancel my card they closed it anyway I was allowed a one time to get money from my card the card was still not here when my check was deposited and they would not let me access my money I asked if I could send the money to a friend with an account now card they would not allow that either I am at a motel unable yo pay and they will not help me the worst customer service ever I do not suggest this card the fees are too high and they dont care about their customers

Account Now sucks they are liars.. I want my money that was stolen from my account they lied said they did an investigation. Sent my a letter in a week closing investigation. Stating they found no error. I called they said someone would call. Well no call I called them about documentation on investigation on how they concluded it was not stolen. Well no letter or call from them at all.I don't shop at HEB grocery in houston .They are liars. I want my money back... ......People stay away... STAY AWAY FROM ACCOUNT NOW..

Have had account now since 2012 and have not had any issues! Only ONE time where I received a direct deposit and I wasn't able to access my funds for a few hours but otherwise no complaints.

I used this card for one month and realized it wasn't for me. The monthly fee is quite high and is not advertised well on the card. Don't get fooled into thinking that this is an easy card (or free card) to use. You will surely be annoyed. On the plus side, the card does make it quite easy to perform all necessary transactions.
