I have not had any problems witht this card. I applied online and received the card in about a week. I was originally going to get this for my son so I could put money on it every month instead of having to go to the bank and either physically hand it to him or go to his bank and put it in his bank account. But then I decided to try it out for myself before hand. I like the card but I ended up going with a different card for my son that didn't have any fees. I didn't want him to have to put any of his money toward card fees. So I kept this card for myself.

I have this card currently. I wasn't sure about really getting the card at first because I had never had a credit card at the point. After searching around for a while I came to a the conclusion that I should first try out these prepaid cards instead of the usually classic credit card. All of my friends had told me that they have had the regular credit cards and regret getting them. Mostly because of the debt that they gained, but with this I feel more comfortable. I also had no credit when I first got this card and because I never really had an issue with it I could buy things I wanted without a problem. It also helped build up my credit score to perfect because I only buy what I need and pay it off fast.

I have this card. I have never had any issues with it. The balance is always what is expected. However I do not believe their site to login is very secure. All the require is your last name, your social and your zip code. I prefer using a username and password. I think it is easier for someone to hack into your information and get into your credit card account with just that. The huge issue I have with this card is, it's more expensive than lots of other prepaid card. Is costs almost $10.00 a month to keep active. Wow! Most cards are only $3-4.00. The fees to cancel and on every little thing, are excessive. I much prefer other prepaid cards to this one. Some positives are that it rewards you for referring friends and doing direct deposit. Also you can reload it a lot of ways. That is a bonus.

My father started me off with this Prepaid Visa Credit Card for my birthday about a month ago. It is the best possible solution for our money problems. Ever since my parents were separated, it was hard for my dad to get money to me. He would have to transfer money into my bank account and then I would have to go to my bank and take it out. Now, my dad just reloads my AccountNow card. It’s as simple as 1-2-3. It takes all the hassle out of ATMs and banks accounts for someone who is a young student like myself. For just a small start up fee, you can experience all of the benefits of a credit card.

I was given a Prepaid Visa card as a present and I must say it has been fantastic! No hassles, no worries, no payments. I've used my card everywhere without a hassle: online shopping, gas stations, shopping malls. And what is great is that the balance is easy to figure out, either by a quick phone call to an automated register, or by checking online. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the card doesn't expire for like 6 years, so not a worry about being screwed over. Great for road trips and travel and college! A big name company which offers support and security without any hassles of bills.

I had a great experience with the Account Now Pre-Paid Visa card. I was having some problems with my credit, so I needed to use a prepaid credit card. It was easy to use - I could reload it through direct deposit or at a large selection of locations. There is no monthly fee; only the $4.95 initial activation fee. If you cancel your Account Now Pre-Paid card account, you are only eligible to apply for an Account Now Pre-Paid Visa card one more time. The customer service department is very pleasant. They really make it easy to do whatever you have to do quickly. I had fewer hassles with Account Now than I had had previously with banks I had had credit card accounts with.

I signed up for the AccountNow Pre-Paid Visa about a month ago and received it in the mail a little less than a week later. Even though I have good credit, I wanted a card that would curb my spending shopping online. I thought this would help give me some financial discipline. I like that this card is exactly what you make of it. Not having to worry about my credit card bill every month is a huge sigh of relief for me. The customer service is very easy and I can handle everything on the AccountNow website. The excessive fees are annoying because I also have to factor in every fee before I make a purchase so I know for sure that I will have enough on the card.

I really like my Account Now card. It is easy to load and easy to use with minimal fees. I have had several different types of cards over they years and the Account now card is very simple to use as well as other people can send me money though it. I work on line doing data entry work and I need an easy access account that I can post many small transactions to over the month when they come in for my various jobs. this card has made that a lot easier to do. The card also accepts western Union, Money gram and green-dot refill payments.. which is really cool... there have been times when I have traveled and really needed that. all and all I am please with my card.

I always get a kick out of credit card and prepaid card branding. Prepaid cards are often used by people who can’t get approved for a traditional checking account, so it makes perfect sense that there is a prepaid card called the AccountNow Prepaid Visa. The name alone seems to satisfy a major need for the target audience. But simply being able to get a prepaid card isn’t your only consideration, you should strive to minimize costs too. (Another reason people get prepaid cards is that they want a cheaper checking alternative in the face of new bank fees). Does the Account Now Prepaid Card allow you to minimize fees? That is indeed the question and it unfortunately does not have a positive answer. First of all, the AccountNow Visa Card charges almost $5 for activation, and a lot of its competitors don’t charge anything at all. While it doesn’t have a monthly fee, it does charge $2.50 for each ATM withdrawal, $1 per purchase, $1 for live customer support, $0.50 for automated customer support (I mean, c’mon!), and a $15.95 check fee to bring your balance to zero when you want to close your account. That’s just ridiculous. You have to pay for everything with this card, and it’s obvious how quickly this annoying little costs can add up. Now, if the AccountNow Prepaid Visa Card offered the best terms on the market, that would be one thing, but it doesn’t by a long shot. The GreenDot Prepaid Card can be free to use if you load $1,000 per month (i.e. your paycheck), the same goes for the American Express Prepaid Card if you don’t need to withdraw cash more than once a month. The new Chase Liquid Card is fairly cheap as well, only $4.95 per month. In light of these fees, I’d say not now to the AccountNow Visa Prepaid Card.
