This card does not require you to maintain a minimum balance, so no worry there. However, you will need to put at least $10 on the card the first time you load it. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Best of luck!

I just got a netspend card in the mail and I never applied for one, what do I do now?

The card you received is likely promotional, and not actually activated for use. If you want to use the card, you will have to register online and load funds. If you don't wish to use this NetSpend prepaid card, simply refrain from registering and you'll be good to go.

The NetSpend Prepaid Pay as you go Visa is my absolute favorite is because there is absolutely NO monthly fee. Another feature I love about this prepaid card is that it is exceptionally easy to use online and it is also accepted anywhere that credit cards are taken as payment.I have used NetSpend pre-paid card for my income tax refund for 2 years now. I have not had any complaints about the card as of yet. However their fees are a little outrageous. It has been convenient for me because, up until recently I did not have a bank account. If they would not charge $1 per transaction it would more

I've been using this particular Netspend pay as you go $1 per transaction card for 5 years with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I am so happy with the customer service. I have always deposited my earnings onto this card and I have used it at atms as well, the fee is normal, it compares to any banks atm charges. I use this card for deposits and credit/debit/atm withdrawals and I am very pleased with them!

Netspend is not your typical prepaid card. But it may be right for you. The application process is very easy compared to some other cards I have tried. It is all online, takes maybe 5 minutes to complete, with your physical card getting mailed to you within a week. Quick, easy, and painless. They also run sign up promotions pretty often, so be sure to get some quick cash in the process. This is a great card for those who need their money fast. The biggest selling point to me of the Netspend brand is there fast direct deposit. Faster than the bank in some cases. I use it to more

I got this card to have a loadable card not connected directly to any bank or credit account of mine. My accounts were all flush and I wanted to have a way to send money to a family member who was travelling a lot. I gave them this card before they left. It was really easy for me to get online and arrived at my house in a week or so later in time for when I needed it, but you do need to plan ahead. This card acts just like any other debit card would, you can easily use at any ATM that has Cirrus logo on it. What more

Netspend was always pleasant to use until recently. I just totally gave up on them. I no long have now, now will I ever want another card with them ever. Their customer service is impossible to reach, and when you do reach them it is just...not good. Also, they gave me the run around like you wouldn't believe about a balance that I owed them. Also, they took money from my account without even asking me! When I tried to get it back, my efforts were unfruitful. I just thank God that they didn't take a lot, but that was the LAST straw for me. No more Netspend for me.....EVER!!! more

I have used a NetSpend pre-paid card for my income tax refund over the past several years. I have not had any complaints about the card as of yet. However their fees are a little outrageous. It has been convenient for me because, up until recently I did not have a bank account. If they would not charge $1 per transaction it would be just as beneficial as a regular bank account. Over all I have had a good experience with NetSpend

I received this card in the mail unexpectedly. I don’t even remember requesting it but I actually was glad because I was meaning to set up direct deposit for a portion of my paycheck. I thought this would be as good of a chance as any, so I went ahead and set it up. It was actually very easy to do, and I had no problems with that part of the card at all. Of course, I didn’t realize the amount of fees NetSpend charges. First, there is a $3 monthly fee, and I didn’t really mind that. Then on top of that they charge fifty cents every time you more

I had my identity stolen and the person used my name to open up a netsend account on top of other account. I tried to get the card cancelled and try to get maybe an address or some other information about the person guilty of stealing my identity. The woman I spoke to in customer service was an idiot. I explained the situation to her, letting her know that it was not me who opened the account, but she would not cancel or give me any information because I was not the primary account holder. I was frustrated because I wasn't any type of account holder because it was not more

A friend asked me to get a Netspend card, and I liked the idea that it was prepaid and that there were locally businesses that provided the refills so I signed up.
I was excited when the card arrived because I signed up as a referral of the friend when I loaded my initial amount it being over $40 I got $20 free, and so did my friend, but after that I did not like the card.

The card has ridiculously fees, compared to other like card, if you need to call and check your balance they charge you.50 of coarse you can get by this by checking your balance more

Overall, the main reason the NetSpend Prepaid Pay as you go Visa is my absolute favorite is because there is absolutely NO monthly fee. Another feature I love about this prepaid card is that it is exceptionally easy to use online and it is also accepted anywhere that credit cards are taken as payment. It is also secure, which is an important feature in my life because I use it to online more than I use it in stores. When you do use the card to purchase something in person at a physical location, there is a fee of one dollar per transaction. This can be avoided with a monthly more
