I have used a NetSpend pre-paid card for my income tax refund over the past several years. I have not had any complaints about the card as of yet. However their fees are a little outrageous. It has been convenient for me because, up until recently I did not have a bank account. If they would not charge $1 per transaction it would be just as beneficial as a regular bank account. Over all I have had a good experience with NetSpend

I received this card in the mail unexpectedly. I don’t even remember requesting it but I actually was glad because I was meaning to set up direct deposit for a portion of my paycheck. I thought this would be as good of a chance as any, so I went ahead and set it up. It was actually very easy to do, and I had no problems with that part of the card at all. Of course, I didn’t realize the amount of fees NetSpend charges. First, there is a $3 monthly fee, and I didn’t really mind that. Then on top of that they charge fifty cents every time you more

I had my identity stolen and the person used my name to open up a netsend account on top of other account. I tried to get the card cancelled and try to get maybe an address or some other information about the person guilty of stealing my identity. The woman I spoke to in customer service was an idiot. I explained the situation to her, letting her know that it was not me who opened the account, but she would not cancel or give me any information because I was not the primary account holder. I was frustrated because I wasn't any type of account holder because it was not more

A friend asked me to get a Netspend card, and I liked the idea that it was prepaid and that there were locally businesses that provided the refills so I signed up.
I was excited when the card arrived because I signed up as a referral of the friend when I loaded my initial amount it being over $40 I got $20 free, and so did my friend, but after that I did not like the card.

The card has ridiculously fees, compared to other like card, if you need to call and check your balance they charge you.50 of coarse you can get by this by checking your balance more

Overall, the main reason the NetSpend Prepaid Pay as you go Visa is my absolute favorite is because there is absolutely NO monthly fee. Another feature I love about this prepaid card is that it is exceptionally easy to use online and it is also accepted anywhere that credit cards are taken as payment. It is also secure, which is an important feature in my life because I use it to online more than I use it in stores. When you do use the card to purchase something in person at a physical location, there is a fee of one dollar per transaction. This can be avoided with a monthly more

The card you received is likely promotional, and not actually activated for use. If you want to use the card, you will have to register online and load funds. If you don't wish to use this NetSpend prepaid card, simply refrain from registering and you'll be good to go.

no win situation.

use your card as a debit-you pay a fee.

use your card as a credit card- you pay a fee.

go to any atm- you pay fee to use the atm and a fee for withdrawing.

load money at a check cashing location- you get the point, you pay a fee.
