The convenience of the Capitol One Platinum Prestige Card makes my life less stressful. Being a full-time student and new father, has proven to me that availability and reliability of funds is essential. This card is unique to me due to no annual fees, no purchase charges, and transferring between accounts is easily acquired. The 24/7 assistance is also a plus. I remember how my family and I were on a road trip to visit my wifes family about 6 hours away and unfortunately got a flat tire. We had no spare and this card, with "24/7 roadside assistance," not only made the experience better, but I felt proud that my family saw me as reliable. Thank you Capitol One for your amazing services and custom made cards! I have a constant reminder, when i'm at work or away, of my family because their picture is on my card!

My Capital One Platinum Prestige Master Card is great. When I applied for it I was skeptical about how low of an interest rate they would actually give me. To my surprise, it was only 11.5%. My old credit card was about five points higher. I don't usually carry a balance between months, but every now and then I do. Well, it was a no brainer to start using my Capital One since it has a better rate. I recently needed a $1200 car repair on my transmission. I called Capital One, explained the situation, and they were able to increase my limit to help me accommodate this unexpected expense. Needless to say, I was very happy customer.

This is an excellent credit card for those looking to rebuild their credit history. Once I was approved (about a year ago) I was given a rather modest credit limit but as time has gone on and I have kept my payments on time my limit has gone up and actually my APR decreased because I paid on time. Also, the customer service for this credit card is great - every time I need to call and talk to someone there is always someone there within a few minutes if not sooner. I've had many credit cards - some through AMEX and other places but this one is by far the most user-friendly of them all. There is no hidden fees, everything is up front so you know what your getting. Simple, honest, no-frills credit card.

I 've had this card for well over six months now, it's been great so far although I do not have a large limit, I was told I will be given the opportunity to increase the limit if I want in about a year. I got this card to build on my credit as I am used to buy and paying for everything with my debit card. The application process was painless and their online bill pay options is very handy and convenient. Customer service has been brilliant on the couple of occasions that I had to challenge a charge on my card. Will recommend to anyone looking for a good first card.

Like many Americans, I have been struggling with paying my bills on time over the past few years. Because of this, my credit has taken quite a hit. I got rid of my credit cards a couple of years ago after some bad advice from a person that billed themselves as a financial expert. Needless to say, not having the credit cards HURT my credit score. The lack of the cards combined with the late bills really put a dent into my credit score. This card from Capital One was the only card I could approved for. To my surprise, the APR was reasonable and the fees were minimal. I’ve heard horror stories from friends with poor credit who have had to pay upwards of $200 in fees just to get a credit card. This wasn’t the case here and I have been very pleased to build my credit back up with Capital One.

This is one of the first banks to accept my application after going through some rough times including a bankruptcy. The offered me low interest and an outstanding introductory rate. I have called customer service on several occasions, due to lost cards and such, and they were the most polite service reps I have ever spoken with. Every so often they review your credit and will up your credit limit, and most recently they have offered to provide me with a blank check auto loan. Great company, great customer service, you really can’t go wrong with Capital One as long as you make your payments on time.

I think I'll be the first one to admit I was intrigued back in the day by the vikings in the commercials. Needless to say I ended up getting quite a few credit cards in my day and this happens to be one of them. I think this can securely be mentioned as a middle of the road card because although it is not one of the secured credit cards with a yearly fee designed for bad credit, it is also not a credit card with a massive rewards program and low rate designed for those with the absolute best of credit. I find it to be of most use to those who are of above average credit rating, wanting to avoid large fees, and who cannot apply for/get one of the more premium rewards cards due to not having an absolutely pristine excellent credit rating. I have not had any problems with this card or Capital One for that matter, and was happy with this card and what it offered.

My experience with my Capital One Platinum Prestige Credit Card has been a great one. I had a Capital One credit card for almost 10 years, starting in 2000. It was a hassle free card. Due to the economy, I lost my job and was unable to pay my bills. I had to file chapter 7 in 2010. I was upset to lose my Capital One card. I thought that was the end of my credit for a long time. I decide to apply for this card in 2012. I applied online. It was very easy to do. To my surprise, I was approved. My credit limit was only $500, but I was very pleased with that. I love the fact it has no annual fee and low interest rates. I was even sent a letter that stated, if I continue to pay on time, my credit limit would be doubled. I always recommend Capital One to my friends.

This was my first credit card and I have to say that I'm pretty thankful that it was. The application process was super quick while still letting you know what exactly you are getting into. I'm a college student so I have almost non-existent credit and not a lot of extra money so it's nice to have a credit card for emergencies that doesn't have an annual fee. I started out with a low credit limit but after consistently being on time with payments they bumped my limit up quite a bit without my asking. Overall this is great card for someone just starting out or even someone needed a little help to repair their credit.

I decided to comment here to share my experience with Capital One. I have used Capital One for almost two years and I am still very happy with the experience. Never had a problem with them and the benefits and offers have been awesome. The annual fees are fair compared to other credit cards I have used and the interest rate is by far the best option out of other competitors I have had experienced with. I don't use credit cards as much anymore but to get your credit score up with little interest and so many more benefits I think Capital One is the way to go. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

So far my experience with the Capital One Platinum Prestige Credit Card has been very positive. One of the things I like that is that it doesn’t have any annual fee, I have a 0% APR until 2014 and then after that the interest rate remains relatively good with no hidden fees and you also get a few extras such as $0 fraud liability, 24hr roadside assistance, 24hr travel assistance services just incase you need an emergency card while traveling etc.. You can also transfer higher rate balances and consolidate things all in one place. Overall it is a very good card and I definitely recommended it.

I have had my Capital One Credit Card for around two years. When I originally received it I had 12 months no interest and ended up using it and paying it off by the twelve months. I use it towards Christmas gifts and any other purchase that may be a bit larger than a everyday purchase. The main reason we got the card to help increase our credit score to purchase a new home. I don't have any complains so far and have many family members and friends that rely on Capital one as well. I even have a car loan with them and have never had a issue either!

I've had my Capital One Credit Card for over 10 years. It's low interest and when I was going through a rough time a few years ago, they worked with me to keep my card out of collections so my credit wouldn't get dinged. They are thoughtful and caring on the phone and honestly, I couldn't ask for more. They still offer the 0% introductory APR on balance transfers, at least through July 2014! They are quick to catch fraudulent activity on your Capital One Card. They flag your account before you even know something happened and they do not hold you responsible for fraudulent activity! Capital One has seen me in good times and bad times. Thanks!

I have had my capital one card for probably about five years now and I love it. When I first signed up I had no interest for a year, which really helped me out so I could pay some school bills while attending college. After the year has passed I kept the card not only is the interest low, but so are the payments. This is definitely a card that you can manage with easy monthly payments that you can pay online or by mail. I have never had any problems with customer service either, I have called a few times, once I thought I made my payment late and the reassured me that everything was up to date, and another time when I needed more time to make my payment. They set everything up for me and were friendly during the whole process. I would definitely recommend this card to my friends and family.

I've always found Capital One to be my go to guys for credit cards in general as their online banking system is second to none and probably the best I've ever used with it's wealth of options and other great features. This particular card doesn't really have any "benefits" or rewards as such but it does have a pretty competitive interest rate and if you make your payments on time over time you'll find your credit limit increasing without you having to ask for it. Mine started with them at $500 and is now at $1500 just through paying my monthly payments by the due date each time.

I overall have enjoyed having a credit card through Capital one, they give a low limit to start off with, then build your way up. Though the interest seems a little high for what you spend. They have the online banking you can use, to keep track of your money. That does help a bit, and you can make online payments monthly, but customer service is terrible. I can never talk to anybody that actually speaks English well, and talk about stuff that isn't relevant to want I'm trying to ask about. Though it's a great starter card to raise up your credit, a little bit at a time. Unless you accidentally forget one payment, and then they charge fees out the butt, and find ways to suck more money from you.

I got this card after trying for a long time to repair my credit. I was given a low limit and was consistent with paying off all usages every month. Capital One noticed my payment usage/history and gave me a boost in credit limit spending of $1500 within six months. I've had no issues with this card and I highly recommend it for anyone trying to get their credit back on track. The service from the cardholders is also stellar. I've had questions and I was able to just pop online and chat with a customer service representative who was able to answer all my questions without sitting on hold on a phone call. The interest rate is a bit high, however it can be expected given my credit history at the time. Since I've had this card my credit score has begun to repair itself rapidly. It's a great card for the credit impaired!

I applied for this card almost a year ago after doing some extensive research on which card to apply for. My situation was that my credit score was moderately low and I needed the chance to improve my credit rating. When not all the cards are available to you, it was a relief to know I could still get a credit card without first securing the debt. Also, this card didn't come with crazy annual fees common for most other cards available to those with bad or no credit history. Capital One had a few different options to choose from, but this one suited me best. So far, I have not had any negative dealings with the card company. There was a problem speaking with a representative who could understand my American English, but after a few transfer we got everything sorted out. Their customer service was good and they didn't have a bad attitude about the language barrier.

Got this as a second card because my other card had a low limit. It's been great and I really like the 0 apr and no annual fees. The online bill pay is also very convenient, I don't have to go to post office just to pay my bill. With the 300 dollars limit I don't have to be very careful about getting into a large debt, and its been very good in building my credit. My girlfriend also has one and is very happy with it. I will highly recommend this card to any one looking for a supplementary card.

It helped me get my credit back on track after not really working while I was in school. No annual fee and their customer service department is always nice, regardless of your situation. Other companies should really take a look at Capitol One's customer service department and be more like them. If I have ever had a question, they were there to answer it without any attitude. This is a basic card and it doesn't have a lot of perks, but it gets the job done and opens the doors for their other lines of credit. I intend on staying with them for a long time.

I applied for my Capital One Platinum Prestige credit card about three years ago. I just moved back from Hawaii and my credit was really bad. They approved this card and I opted for the credit inform package. I love this feature of the card. I can check my credit score anytime I want. I also receive emails if there is a change in my credit score. My initial limit was $300 and then after six months it was raised to $500. I really needed a credit card to get back on track and Capital One provided that opportunity. They offer easy online bill paying which is a great feature because everyone loves to know that it is instantly taken care of, no waiting for the mail. I would give this card 5 stars!

I have had the Capitol One Platinum Prestige Credit Card for a couple years. This card has been great to have when I am short on cash and needed to buy something last minute. The card was a great credit builder and has helped me get other credit lines. Capitol One has a great customer service support line that has always helped me when I had a question or a problem. I would definitely recommend this card to anyone looking to build their credit and get their credit on the right path. Another perk for this credit card is doesn’t any annual fees.

I have personally had the Capital One Platinum Prestige Credit Card for about 6 months and it has treated me well so far. Unlike other credit cards, this card does not have an annual fee, which is a great perk to have. Of course, I don't usually use credit cards unless I absolutely have to or I am not carrying any type of cash at the time that I need to purchase something. It is a great card to use to build up your credit if you know what you are doing. However, other than the card having no annual fee, there isn't really any other perks that the card has going for it unlike some other credit cards that offer cash back and whatnot. Overall I would give the credit card a 3.5 out of 5.

I have had the Capital One Platinum Prestige Credit Card for about 3 months and I like it so far. I have two other capital one cards but this one seems to work for what I use it for. It has no annual fee like a lot of other cards do and has a 0% introductory rate. One thing that I really like is that after 6 months of using the card and making the payments on time, they will increase your credit limit. I used mine to transfer balances from high interest rate credit cards, so now I pay no interest and will get "rewarded" for paying my credit card bill. Who doesn't love that!

I have been using the Capital One Platinum Prestige Credit Card for approximately 1 year. I had first opened the card while trying to rebuild my credit after a rough patch. This was one of the only cards that did not charge a yearly "fee" to have the card, which I greatly appreciated. I started out with a small credit limit, then after 6 mos. of having the card opened and timely payments I automatically received a credit line increase. I like the convenience of being able to view statements and pay my bill online, I have my payments set-up on automatic withdrawal from my bank account with is very convenient and helps with my goal of re-establishing credit. I've not had any problems with this card, but can't say that there are a lot of "benefits" either. I give this card a 3 out of 5.

I was very excited when I was first approved for this card. It was the first card that I had applied and gotten approved for in an attempt to rebuild my credit so that my husband and I could purchase our first home. I vowed to pay the balance for this card on time and keep my 0% interest rate for as long as they let me. I did pretty good. Even after, my interest rate is surprisingly low, compared to other cards I have obtained since then. Capital One credit card company is just like any other in that the company expects for you to pay your minimum monthly payment on time. If you have issues with that and you don't take advantage of their insurance program, you could be in for a big hike in interest rate. Overall, I have had a good experience with Capital One. I had forgotten to pay my payment before the cutoff time one day, I believe it is 4 or 5pm EST. I called and notified them and they waived the late charge for me with no problem. I am pleased :)

I am trying to get my credit card finances in line. Capital One has helped me pay my old card balance off. Once I get it paid off, I will definitely uses Capital One as my primary card. Customer service has been helpful, and NOT PUSHY. I find this product to be extremely useful and the benefits meet my needs, My focus is narrow: I need to use my card overseas without incurring the one to four percent "charges" most cards impose. For this purpose Capital One cards are second to none. They gave me an excellent credit limit, but the minimum payment could be better. The interest rate is fair and with an introductory rate of 0% for a year, that's always comforting, especially when trying to pay off a transferred balance which I did.

I had the capital one credit card for awhile now. The only thing bad I can say is that it has a high interest rate and if you do not keep your balance down then you will be paying more in interest that you really spend. Having this card has opened a lot of doors up for me regarding my credit. Keeping a low balance and not spending more than about 25% of my total available credit limit, it has brought my score from about 430 to above 600 in just a little over a year. I would definately recommend this card to anyone who is trying to build there credit. I first got approved for $300 and now I am up to $1100 in just over a year by keeping all payments and paying a little more than minimum due.

I've had a Capital One Platinum Prestige Mastercard for a couple of years now, and have been very pleased in all respects. I use the card quite often and enjoy the fact that there is NO annual fee. The interest rates are not in the stratosphere, and when I have needed to take action on a bad charge, or a refund that hasn’t been refunded, the on-line process has been SO simple and effective. Their representatives have been very nice, when I’ve needed to speak with someone, but one of the great things about Capital One’s service is that you can take care of so much without needing to talk with someone. Highly recommended!

My Capital One credit card has been great! It was the first card I got as an adult and I have not had any problems. When I went abroad for a semester, the company was very helpful about what I needed to do to make sure I did not charge too much to my account, etc. Recently, my card was lost and I was able to get in touch quickly with Capital One and they issued me a new card. I always make my payments on time and have overall had no issues with literally anything! Wonderful card, wonderful company that I would highly recommend to anyone.
