    A SECOND AMEX CARD WAS SENT IN MY NAME ON APRIL 16, 2012 AND MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED WITHOUT ANY NOTICE TO ME AS A CUSTOMER. THE PROFESSIONISM AND ORGANIZATION OF DUE PROCESS THAT AMEX A UNIT OF GE CO. DID CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY NOTICE IS CERTAINLY "UNPROFESSIONAL" IN HANDLING IT CORRECTLY! REMEMBER, AMEX ARE NOT THE ONLY CREDIT CARD COMPANIES AVAILABLE NOW. TOO BAD, I AND MY H USBAND HAVE EXCELLENT CREDIT BACKGROUNDS. GOODBYE!

    I am not sure I am following. Did your Dillard's Credit Card expire and they send you a new card? Also your Dillard's card has an Amex logo on it? Also American Express is not a unit of GE, if you are seeing the Amex logo on your card is because the issuer of your card (i.e. GE) is using the American Express network to allow your card to be accepted in more locations than just Dillard's.
