The Hilton ladies have garnered quite a bit of attention throughout the years, but what about a different type of Hilton plastic (get it, they’ve probably had work done), the Citi Hilton HHonors Credit Card? What does it have to offer the world? For starters, this Visa card which requires at least good credit of applicants offers an initial rewards bonus of 40,000 Hilton HHonors points. You get these after spending at least $1k during the first four months you have the Citi Hilton Credit Card. That’s pretty good, but it also isn’t uncommon for affinity rewards cards these days. The Citi Hilton HHonors Credit Card also has a base rewards structure that provides 6 HHonors points for each dollar spent at Hilton Hotels; 3 points for each dollar spent on supermarket, drugstore and gas station purchases; and 2 points per $1 on everything else. Finally, you automatically have Hilton HHonors Silver Status as a Citi Hilton Credit Card holder. This begs the question of how many points it takes to get a free night and what Silver Status scores you. Well, 40,000 points gets you one free night in a really nice Hilton Hotel and 3 nights in one of the company’s, and Silver Status gets you 15% more base points, free access to spas and fitness centers at Hilton hotels and 2 complimentary bottles of water at certain Hilton hotels [I don’t know about you, but those bottles sealed the deal for me ;) ]. Before wrapping up this look at the Citi Hilton Credit Card it is important to note that like the Hilton twins, there is also more than one Hilton Credit Card. In addition to the Citi Hilton Card, a Hilton HHonors Surpass Credit Card is also available. This card offers slightly better rewards, but has a $75 annual fee. In case I didn’t mention it, the Hilton Citicard does not have an annual membership fee.
