It's unlikely that you'd get approved for the Hobby Lobby Credit Card with no credit, as it requires good credit at a minimum. That's a credit score of at least 700.
The Hobby Lobby Credit Card's credit score requirement was at least good credit, but you can no longer apply for it. A similar credit card would be the Big Lots Credit Card, for which you can apply even with fair credit.

I never need to use my Hobby Lobby credit card at Hobby Lobby anymore because I use their gift cards now and everything is free to me! I use my Hobby Lobby credit card everywhere else to earn as many gift cards as possible. I am having my online banking send them automatic payments weekly and then I use that to buy groceries etc. It is working out very nicely for me.

I visit hobby lobby often, so each purchase there earns me 5 points per dollar spent. I earn 1 point per dollar spent anywhere else I use the card. I was awarded a high credit limit, which helped add a few points to my credit score. The interest rate is a little steep, but I just make sure to pay my balance at the end of every month to avoid that fee. Overall, I am very satisfied with the card.

Despite claiming to be a Christian corporation, Hobby Lobby still charges usury payments on debts associated with their credit card. Don't trust Hobby Lobby.

It's not hobby lobby who is giving you this card. It's us bank...some people think everything should be free. I want to shop at your store!

Hobby Lobby doesn't claim to be a Christian corporation. It's a non-religious company run by religious people. There is no religious affiliation to HL, nor its credit card (which is not managed by HL).

I like the Hobby Lobby Credit Card since I am a regular customer, and enjoy the perks it offers! I love the fraud protection in case the card gets lost, and that it offers travel accident insurance on top of it. I wish they would do away with the annual fee altogether, but it is a minor inconvenience. The interest rate is average, but if you pay your purchases on time, there won't be an issue. You also get 1000 points when you sign up, which is a helpful and attractive feature! You get points for every buck spend at the store, but also in purchases at other establishments. For every 2500 points you get a $25 gift card to shop at Hobby Lobby! This is about the same as the TJX store I have for T.J.Maxx.

I think this card is pretty good for a person that does a lot of crafting and shopping at Hobby Lobby. Earning 5 points per dollar at Hobby Lobby is a great deal. However the interest rates and the chance of an annual fee make this pretty much a generic credit card if you shop anywhere but hobby lobby. I have had a similar card with Amazon and it was great earning points at Amazon because I shop there a lot. So if you think you will be doing a lot of shopping at Hobby Lobby then this is the card for you.

For a person who participates in a lot of crafts and constantly finds themselves in need of items at Hobby Lobby, I think this rewards program is one of the more generous I’ve come across; however, I don’t shop at the store all that much and as such wouldn’t benefit so much from these particular offers. I would also hesitate to get this card because of the slightly above average interest rates. For someone with good credit like mine, I can find better offers elsewhere. Overall, I’m sure this Hobby Lobby Credit Card 5 points: $1 reward system is a great offer for someone who always find themselves buying home decorations, but it isn’t particularly suited to my personal needs.

The Hobby Lobby Credit Card offers an effective 5% cash back when you shop at Hobby Lobby, which I've never seen in California. This is really similar to the Bed Bath & Beyond Credit Card, which offers 5% cash back for Bed, Bath & Beyond purchases. Both cards also offer the standard 1% return for shopping anywhere else. However, the initial bonus offering, 1000 points for your first purchase, cannot be redeemed instantly like the Bed Bath and Beyond reward. Unless you have a hobby that can be found at their store, the Hobby Lobby Credit Card feels limiting and I would look elsewhere for a rewards card.

For a smaller store like Hobby Lobby, the Hobby Lobby credit is alright. It gives you an opportunity to earn back for your continual shopping at the store. The initial bonus is pretty sweet giving you 1000 points which is half the way to a $25 gift card. After that you get 5 points per dollar spent at hobby lobby which is actually very high compared to other stores. Purchases elsewhere are the standard less lucrative 1 point per dollar spent. Sadly they do not have an introductory APR rate but still this car is pretty good if you love Hobby Lobby. Get that money back!

I think that the Hobby Lobby Credit Card is a pretty decent card. Earning 5 points for every $1 at Hobby Lobby is pretty decent. Every $500 dollars that you spend there gets you a $25 Hobby Lobby gift card. The 1 point per $1 spent everywhere else is pretty average compared to the cards I have used in the past. I don't like how it has a $29 annual fee based on your credit. There shouldn't be one. It's a good card for use at this store, but if you want to use it elsewhere I recommend looking at a different card.
