This is pretty great if you are a Target customer like myself. Why use a Visa or MasterCard shopping at Target when the Target card offers 5% off purchases both in store and online. It has a 25 day grace period and a reasonable APR. 30 days additional time for returns and can be combined with the Target Pharmacy Rewards certificate for some pretty good deals. Free shipping is included with online purchases which if you have paid for shipping multiple items before you know can be kind of costly. Overall if you like Target like me I think this card is a great value.

I love my Target Red Card. The 5% savings is great since I shop at Target frequently. It is also nice to see my year-to-date savings amount on the bottom of every receipt.

The Target card is absolutely great. We use it every single trip to Target. The 5% is so great (basically takes care of taxes) and then you get the 5% on top of any cartwheel coupons or regular coupons. The free shipping on the website is so great too! You also get an extended return policy!

I really like this card -- unlike most other store cards this one gives you the rewards upfront in the form of 5% off -- no waiting for rewards to accumulate, it saves you money right then and there!

The Target store card is excellent for normal everyday usage, because it automatically provides you 5% off of everything in the store. Not many other companies are offering this automatic discount so why not take advantage of it.

Because of this discount, we tend to stop here more often than other stores like Wal-Mart, who don't offer a store card with a discount.

Target provides an excellent incentive for us to shop, and I couldn't be happier with their practices. I encourage my friends and family to check it out as well. You really can't beat it.

The Target store card is the best store card I have among two other cards (Sears and Kohl's). The 5% cash back is the best feature I find. Another important feature is the free shipping given for RED card members. I was little concerned about the identity theft issues during Nov2013. But other than that, the RED card makes life much easier with the benefits it provides. Also RED card members also enjoy additional warranty period for electronics.

A great card if you are shopping at target regularly. However, I found myself using this store card very, very little, as I am not really a frequent Target shopper. Where this card shines is online, where it still allows for a 5% discount on top of free shipping. But again, I don't happen to use it very often, mostly because I usually can find better prices elsewhere online, even including the 5%. Bottom line: if you shop at Target, get it. If you don't, it isn't a good enough reason to switch to Target in my opinion.

I really enjoy this card. I am a frequent Target shopper, and I love that I get an extra 5% off my purchases. I am more of an in store shopper, but I do like that if I order online I can still get my 5% off in addition to free shipping. There have been a few times that I forgot to make a payment on time, and someone has called and asked me to make a payment over the phone to avoid the late fee, which is a blessing! Overall, I recommend this card if you are an avid shopper because the 5% off adds up!

Every time I shop at Target I make sure to use my REDcard, saving me 5% off everything I purchase in store and online at Target.com. I love that there is no annual fee and a grace period of 25 days, pretty good for a credit card. Luckily for me, Target is the closet store to my home anyways so this discount will add up pretty well over time. The free shipping at Target.com offered when purchasing with this card is also a nice added benefit.

I shop Target quite frequently, for various different things. I go to a Super Target near my house, and I often save quite a bit of money on grocery, so their store card is very valuable to me. It saves me a whopping 5% every time I make a purchase, which really adds up - -and fast! They're also very generous. About 1% goes to my old high school for funding; that place really needed it. The extra month for returns has also gotten me out of hot water on numerous occasions. I'm very forgetful with receipts, and the store card automates everything in their system. As an added bonus, more

If you shop at Target a lot, then I suppose the Target Store Red Card would be a good option for you. However, the fact that there is no introductory rate APR and the regular APR is so high is kind of a slap in the face to their customers. I only shop at Target for a few select items, so I see no reason to ever get the Target RED Card. It is nice that they give consumers an additional 30 days to return, but I think this is just a reflection on how poor their return policy is in the first place. They would need to improve this more

I have shopped at Target for Years and have found their shopping experience a bit more pleasant than other stores. It wasn't until a year ago that I got my Target REDCARD. It offers 5% saving and Target also donates 1% or so to the school of your choice. The Target App makes it really easy to pay your bill and they do send reminders to pay your bill on time which I appreciate after almost destroying my credit history with standard Visa, Amex, etc. cards in the past. I have yet to return an item to their store but I'm sure not having to hold on to a receipt more

Target is a great credit card with many wonderful advantages and rewards. Somethings many other cards do not offer is the extended return time as well as being able to stack your savings. No other credit card allows you to do that. These savings add up especially when you compare to Walmart or Kmart. The way to go is Target.

We have had a great experience with our Target REDcard. The main reason we signed up for this card is the 5% off on every Target purchase. Target is the main store we shop at so we save a ton of money every year. The interest rate is fairly high as with most store credit cards, but we just pay the balance off every month and have had no issues. I would recommend this card to anyone who is a regular Target customer.

You have no idea how much I love this card! I am going to shop at Target anyway, so why not get cash back! I have my red card linked to my Pharmacy rewards and ever three prescriptions I get an additional 5% off. So that's 10% off of what I was going to do anyway. I love that you can pay the bill in the store. Also, I get more coupons from Target through the mail now that I have a RedCard.

The Target card is fantastic if you're a frequent Target shopper. 5% off all the time is a great bonus. It's also nice to have all your Target purchases in one place. I think it also gives free shipping from target.com, but I have not used that yet so I'm not positive.

The Target credit card is a decent card to own if you shop at Target often, but it doesn't appear to have any added benefits anywhere else. You can save 5% at Target and get an extra 30 days to return items plus free shipping at Target.com. Most other cards don't offer such rewards and if you are an avid target shopper this card is perfect for you. There's no annual fee, which is awesome, and there is a 25 day grace period to pay your balance. If you are wanting a card to use for other stores to get cash back, or other rewards, this may not be the best card.

Don't forget the 5% applies to the pharmacy as well! Also, 1% of your spending goes to a school of your choice!

The Target credit card is an excellent card for me. I shop at target on a weekly basis so it just made sense. The 5% off is a great perk as I spend a considerable amount at Target stores. I have previously used other credit cards but they did not have the perks that the Target store card does. Saving money and budgeting are very important to me and this card helps me do both! I also love that you can get an extra 30 days on returns. I am notorious for forgetting to return unwanted items and this extra 30 days comes in very handy!

As a young woman beginning to develop credit, Target's credit card has been an excellent card for me. The major benefit being the fact that ordering things online is free. I'm a college student in a small town and my local Target doesn't carry everything I need and it's nice to be able to order things I want online without worrying about the cost.In addition, the 5% off on purchases really helps me conserve the little money I have. Which I appreciate as a student.

It's not a bad card honestly. As a skeptical person I usually steer away from these however I gave this one a chance hearing mainly positive things and I like it. It's pretty convenient to have as I am one that doesn't like shipping at all, and the savings aren't bad, you don't think a lot about when you hear 5% until you add it up over time. Only issue here is the insane APR, don't let it get to the due date. Be disciplined or it can get costly.

The card is nice, but the late fees are absolutely ridiculous. If you are even past 5 p.m. in submitting an ONLINE payment ON the due date, you'll still be charged. As if that makes any factual difference. I love the discounts at Target, but before you apply, do know that you can and very well may be charged a late fee ON the due date if you pay after coming home from work. The unnecessary fee cost us more than we've ever saved with this.

I have had my target credit card for 8 years now and love it! Its the only one I have kept of all my other store credit cards. I love that with it you get free shipping online AND 5% off your purchase. Mine also has a visa logo so I can use it for whatever but I try to use it mainly for target since I get the most benefits from there.

I love my Target Red Card! I've had it for three years now and I use it every single time I shop at Target stores or on their website. As a cardholder, you get 5% off of every store or website purchase as well as free shipping on all online orders automatically. You also receive exclusive coupons at the register after checking out. Only downside is you can't use it at any other stores.

I like the Target Store Card primarily for 2 big reasons. The first is the 5% discount on all Target and Target.com purchases. I go to Target a lot and this helps me save more on my day to day purchases. Secondly, the 30 extra days for returns is such a godsend. Absolutely love this card and would recommend this card to everyone.

I love that the Target Store Card gives you an extra 30 days for returns. This is much better than another store card I had at a competitor that did not offer these extra return days. One thing that I do not like about the Target Store Card is the max late fee, I do feel this is a little high.

I GAVE THIS STORE CARD A TWO. THIS CARD DOES HAVE GREAT REWARDS. THEY ALSO DONATE MONEY TO LOCAL SCHOOLS WHICH MY SONS GO TO. HOWEVER, THE REASON FOR A POOR REVIEW IS BECAUSE THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM IS WEAK. I WAS A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT FROM HACKERS BREAKING INTO THE TARGET SYSTEM AND STEALING MY PERSONAL INFORMATION WHICH WAS STORED THROUGH THIS CARD. I REALLY LIKE TARGET AND LIKE USING MY TARGET CARD, BUT THIS EXPERIENCE HAS KIND OF SCARED ME FROM USING ANY TYPE OF CARD AT TARGET.

Hmm... Your identity would not have been stolen this way. The identity and information leak was actually by a security company that controlled the credit card scanners in all Target stores, as well as any other store that used the scanner and company. This was in 2013 though. You are actually better off with using the Target card on a scanner since the information is not available to the scanner...

It still bugs me that I haven't received A new Target card with a Chip in it. You would think that given the negative publicity regarding the Target data breach would light a fire under their rear ends, but I guess PR about security is better than actual security.

It wasn't just a Target data breach, it was a security breach on the card input that would process payment at the registers which were used by customers. If you shopped in any store that used these card readers then your information was likely leaked.

I have had this card for a year, and i absolutely LOVE it. I am a frequent shopper at Target, so this card just makes sense for me. I love getting my 5% off purchase, especially if the item is cheaper online, and i get my discount AND free shipping! Don't even get me started on if I have coupons! 10/10. I would recommend!

The Target Store card is a great card and being that I shop at Target all time, it makes sense to get one. They offer free shipping when you use it on Target.com which is just sensational because shipping cost is so high these days. Well worth it.

I love my Target card and I use it all the time. It is easy to qualify for the Target card, you can do it right there at the register. The 5% off all purchases adds up quickly. It's also convenient to use- at checkout you don't even have to sign for transactions that are less than $50.

This Target Store Card is one to have! It gives 5% off all purchases at Target Stores and Target.com when you use it. The card is not hard to qualify for, you don't need perfect credit. The terms are pretty good and all with no annual fee.

While the 5% bonus might seem minimal at first, it seriously adds up if you frequent Target like I do. Buying some groceries and clothing here seriously pays off and makes Target such a value. Their customer service is great as well. The security issue does worry me a bit since Target had a problem with that recently, but I trust the company to fix everything in case that does happen, and doubt another breach would occur soon.

So the 5% bonus is a life-saver, 5% off everyday and the prices here are pretty much already the lowest in my city with the best selection.

Obviously there is the worry of security, but Target would not let that happen again and I would have to imagine this is the most secure card out there.

I love my Target RedCard! The 5% off all purchases can't be beat. Combining my RedCard discount with Target's coupons and Cartwheel app, I have saved so much money on groceries and household items. Additionally, the free shipping I receive when shopping at target.com with my RedCard is awesome. I give this card 5 stars because it's an awesome money-saving tool when it's paid off every month. I wouldn't want to carry a balance on the card due to the high APR.

The Target store card offers an excellent discount and extras like free shipping that are great money savers for Target shoppers - because everyone knows, you can never buy just one thing at Target! The regular rate is much better than my Capital One platinum card.

I have had this card for awhile now and am overall satisfied. I use it as a back up for groceries when I just don't have the extra after rent and fuel. I also use it a lot at Christmas to build up extra points. The return policy is also a plus, having an extra 30 days to return something. I only gave it 4 stars though because of the massive credit card hack they had a couple of months ago. It was a major headache and I hope to never have that problem again! At least customer service was great when helping to resolve the issue!

I have had my Target store credit card for about four years now and I use it very frequently. I shop at Target about once a week at least and I always charge my purchases to my credit card. At the end of my billing cycle for the month I pay off my balance as I always have my maximum available credit ready to use. I have been very happy with my card and with the customer service. I have not run into any issues using my card, making my payments, or anything. I am careful to pay on time every month so that I do not incur any late more
