I love using my Target card to make purchases. The interest is high, however it is comparable to other store cards. But what this store card offers that others don't - it gives a 5% discount when you use the card, it gives you rewards, as well as free shipping when you order online. These are greater benefits than any other store card I have had! The only reason I did not give 5 starts was because it was a hassle when their computers were hacked and I have some concerns about how secure they store their information. Overall, it is a great card with excellent benefits!

I really enjoy using my Target credit card. One of my favorite things about this card is the fact that i receive free shipping on my online orders. There is not a certain amount that I have to spend to receive this feature. I also love getting 5% off of all of my purchases. I combine this with special offers and coupons and it ends up saving me a good amount of money. The customer service staff is always nice and helpful as well.

This is by far my favorite store card. They have free shipping for all online orders, regardless of the price, no annual fee and 5% off of everything! The 5% combines with other deals and coupons so it if you're ever going to shop at Target it just makes sense to have their credit card! I shop with them much more often now because of the benefits from my card!

The Target card is one of the very few store credit cards that I own. The reason is simple; it saves me money in the form of a) 5% off on each and every purchase, either online or in store and b) free shipping on every order, no matter how large or small. Typically my orders are small and would not qualify for free shipping so now that I have the card I can pick up whatever I want and have it shipped for free. I pay the balance in full every month and cannot speak to the interest rate; my recommendation is pay your bills in full every month, more

I use the Target card a few times a week. I love that I get to save 5% on every purchase, online or in store. I take advantage of the Free Shipping when I order online. Saves me a trip to the store (and gas). I even get coupons with my card statement, which is nice. I also get cardholder coupon booklets in the mail occasionally (another perk!).. All in all, I recommend the Target Redcard if you shop there a lot or just once in awhile. It will save you money, and you get perks just for joining. Also, no annual fee.

If you are a frequent Target shopper, the Target Credit Card is excellent for maximizing your money. At 5% cash back on all Target purchases it far outpaces the other cards on the market without an annual fee. Cards like the Citi Double Cash (2% back) and Capital One Quicksilver (1.5%) are near the top in terms of rewards, yet don't come close to 5%. However, I would highly recommend this not being your primary card, because it offers no rewards whatsoever on any purchases outside of Target. The added bonuses of increasing the return date by 30 days as well as free shipping at Target.com also sweeten the rewards more

Obtaining my Target card was very easy, and I really enjoy the discount that using the card provides. However, getting additional cards for my family members to use (on the same account) was a tremendous hassle. They also won't let you change the billing address at the same time as you make other changes to the account - it just voids the card. They don't tell you that and it is a huge inconvenience. But I am happy to use the card because of the savings I achieve with it. Now if Walmart also had a discount card and use of that card avoided these issues, I might switch. But more

There are a few things that turn me off about this card, but I want to point out the most obvious:

Lacks Smart Chip Technology - Considering Target had a massive security breach that was all over the news last year, I am shocked this card has no smart chip. This alone is an absolute deal breaker. The crazy thing is, they didn't even bother to post a notice on their website nor temporarily disable purchases until the breach was resolved. I had to find out seeing it in the news. Bad for business. So no way I'll be applying for this card. No smart chip, no business from me. Period. more

I like the Target Store Card. It's better than the Sears one I have. I like that I can get bonus points. And that I can get an extra 30 days for returns. And if I use it with my Target Pharmacy card, I get even more bonus back. Also because I do so much shopping from home, this card is great because it lets me get free shipping from the target.com . That alone is enough of a reason for me to use the card. I am definitely going to apply for one soon. Might even cut up my Sears store card.

I like this card but do not think I would apply for it. It is not likeany of the other credit card that allow you to receive cashback rewards. Also, the interest rate is really high compared to other major credit cards.

I love my Target credit card. First of all, Target is an amazing store where you can find quality items at great prices. When you team that up, with their awesome store credit card, it's a win win! The card extends your return period on purchases an additional 30 days and comes with a fair APR.

The best store credit card is the Target Red Card because it earns money for the schools around my house. My local Target posts a little sign at each register that tells you how much has been donated to the school from you using your target card at the store to make purchases. It feels like you're helping others by using your card. I also like that you always get a five percent discount for using the card to make your purchases. It really helps when you add the five percent, target coupons, manufacturer coupons and also the Target Cartwheel app on your phone.

Hmm... Your identity would not have been stolen this way. The identity and information leak was actually by a security company that controlled the credit card scanners in all Target stores, as well as any other store that used the scanner and company. This was in 2013 though. You are actually better off with using the Target card on a scanner since the information is not available to the scanner...

The target Store Credit card Has some good rewards; You Save 5% on every purchase in the store or online, Free shipping from online, and a extra 30 day for return. What I don't like about the card is the High APR and High late fee of $35. Overall the card is worth getting, just make sure you pay it off at the end of the month.

This card is great because it gives you 5% off all of your purchases at Target stores and Target on-line. This is a great feature and easy to use. The interest rate for this card is high, but since I pay my full balance every month, this is not a big issue for me. The Target Card credit card website is well organized and easy to use. The bill pay feature works well. I used to have an issue with them having different payment due dates each month, but that is no longer the case. I have never had an error on my account, or any other issue with them. more

The Red Card is a must have if you shop at Target. Not only do you get 5% cash at the register Target also gives 1% of your purchase as a donation to the school of your choice. Paying your monthly balances is very easy. You can have the statement balances automatically come out of you checking account each month. This means you won't have to remember to pay your bill! Target's customer service is also top notch. I've only had one issue in the 3 years I've owned the card and they took care of it right away. Target also has a lot of coupons you can use with more

I believe if you are going to use a store credit card then it should have perks that go along with it. The Target Store card fits this requirement for me. This cart offers 5% off every purchase and free shipping when using it for online purchases. What is really smart is to pair up these incentives with CartWheel discounts and coupons. Then the savings goes through the roof. So if you are diligent and self-disciplined it is really worth your while to use this card for all Target purchases. The thing you need to remember and why I mentioned being self-disciplined is that you need to pay it off each more

This card really fits well for me, because I do most of my grocery/electronic shopping at Target already. So the extra thirty days to return and added discount to its already low prices are a great deal. It is one of the best experiences I've had with a store card, seems like it usually just means you get added to their spam list.

I love all the savings that this card provides to me as an avid Target shopper. I get me extra 5% off every purchase. SO paired with my cartwheel app and other coupons I am able to save huge while still getting exactly what I want! Plus on my lazy days when I don't feel like dealing with people out in the real world I can shop online without having to pay for shipping!

I have my target credit card and can not say anything bad about it. It is a great way to save especially if you shop at target a lot. You automatically get 5% off your entire purchase every time you use it. When you pair that with other coupons and cartwheel, you are looking at big savings. The other major perk to me is that fact that you get free shipping on any purchase from target.com. I like to be able to purchase right from home and shipping usually kills the deal so it's a great perk.

This card is a must have if you shop at target. If you are someone who uses there credit card when shopping at target., then you should be using the target credit card instead. One of the best things about the credit card is that every time you shop using it you automatically save 5% on your bill in store and online. This is pretty great if you are a Target customer like myself. Why use a Visa or MasterCard shopping at Target when the Target card offers 5% off purchases both in store and online. It has a 25 day grace period and a reasonable APR. 30 days additional time for returns and can be combined with the Target Pharmacy Rewards certificate for some pretty good deals. Free shipping is included with online purchases which if you have paid for shipping multiple items before you know can be kind of costly. Overall if you like Target like me I think this card is a great value.

The Target card is absolutely great. We use it every single trip to Target. The 5% is so great (basically takes care of taxes) and then you get the 5% on top of any cartwheel coupons or regular coupons. The free shipping on the website is so great too! You also get an extended return policy!

The Target store card is excellent for normal everyday usage, because it automatically provides you 5% off of everything in the store. Not many other companies are offering this automatic discount so why not take advantage of it.

Because of this discount, we tend to stop here more often than other stores like Wal-Mart, who don't offer a store card with a discount.

Target provides an excellent incentive for us to shop, and I couldn't be happier with their practices. I encourage my friends and family to check it out as well. You really can't beat it.

The Target store card is the best store card I have among two other cards (Sears and Kohl's). The 5% cash back is the best feature I find. Another important feature is the free shipping given for RED card members. I was little concerned about the identity theft issues during Nov2013. But other than that, the RED card makes life much easier with the benefits it provides. Also RED card members also enjoy additional warranty period for electronics.

A great card if you are shopping at target regularly. However, I found myself using this store card very, very little, as I am not really a frequent Target shopper. Where this card shines is online, where it still allows for a 5% discount on top of free shipping. But again, I don't happen to use it very often, mostly because I usually can find better prices elsewhere online, even including the 5%. Bottom line: if you shop at Target, get it. If you don't, it isn't a good enough reason to switch to Target in my opinion.

I really enjoy this card. I am a frequent Target shopper, and I love that I get an extra 5% off my purchases. I am more of an in store shopper, but I do like that if I order online I can still get my 5% off in addition to free shipping. There have been a few times that I forgot to make a payment on time, and someone has called and asked me to make a payment over the phone to avoid the late fee, which is a blessing! Overall, I recommend this card if you are an avid shopper because the 5% off adds up!

Every time I shop at Target I make sure to use my REDcard, saving me 5% off everything I purchase in store and online at Target.com. I love that there is no annual fee and a grace period of 25 days, pretty good for a credit card. Luckily for me, Target is the closet store to my home anyways so this discount will add up pretty well over time. The free shipping at Target.com offered when purchasing with this card is also a nice added benefit.

I shop Target quite frequently, for various different things. I go to a Super Target near my house, and I often save quite a bit of money on grocery, so their store card is very valuable to me. It saves me a whopping 5% every time I make a purchase, which really adds up - -and fast! They're also very generous. About 1% goes to my old high school for funding; that place really needed it. The extra month for returns has also gotten me out of hot water on numerous occasions. I'm very forgetful with receipts, and the store card automates everything in their system. If you shop at Target a lot, then I suppose the Target Store Red Card would be a good option for you. However, the fact that there is no introductory rate APR and the regular APR is so high is kind of a slap in the face to their customers. I only shop at Target for a few select items, so I see no reason to ever get the Target RED Card. It is nice that they give consumers an additional 30 days to return, but I think this is just a reflection on how poor their return policy is in the first place. They would need to improve this more

I have shopped at Target for Years and have found their shopping experience a bit more pleasant than other stores. It wasn't until a year ago that I got my Target REDCARD. It offers 5% saving and Target also donates 1% or so to the school of your choice. The Target App makes it really easy to pay your bill and they do send reminders to pay your bill on time which I appreciate after almost destroying my credit history with standard Visa, Amex, etc. cards in the past. I have yet to return an item to their store but I'm sure not having to hold on to a receipt more

Target is a great credit card with many wonderful advantages and rewards. Somethings many other cards do not offer is the extended return time as well as being able to stack your savings. No other credit card allows you to do that. These savings add up especially when you compare to Walmart or Kmart. The way to go is Target.

We have had a great experience with our Target REDcard. The main reason we signed up for this card is the 5% off on every Target purchase. Target is the main store we shop at so we save a ton of money every year. The interest rate is fairly high as with most store credit cards, but we just pay the balance off every month and have had no issues. I would recommend this card to anyone who is a regular Target customer.

You have no idea how much I love this card! I am going to shop at Target anyway, so why not get cash back! I have my red card linked to my Pharmacy rewards and ever three prescriptions I get an additional 5% off. So that's 10% off of what I was going to do anyway. I love that you can pay the bill in the store. Also, I get more coupons from Target through the mail now that I have a RedCard.
