Im embarrassed to own this card. My annual income is $140k and my credit is 750's. I've been a member for over 10 years and never missed a payment. Every year I call to get a credit increase and I always get the same answer, it's done automatically. MY LIMIT IS ONLY $1,000!!!!! ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME?!?!?! EFF THEM!

Well it's better than nothing but a,credit score like you have it should be more and a member over 10 years that's crazy

We use the Target credit card all the time. We are frequent shoppers at Target. We usually like to combine our coupons, the Target mobile app and the Cartwheel app to maximize our savings. We generally save 5% on our purchases. This is a must-have card for anyone that is looking to maximize their dollar. It is very easy to set up and you can have another person on your card.

I have had my Target Redcard for about 8 years now and don't really use it as much as I once did. The only perk that you seem to get is a 5% discount, I can save just as much by using certain coupons at other stores than the 5% will get me. The free shipping isn't really that great of a deal either because a lot of the times Target is running a special/sale to get free shipping anyway. I will still use the card on occasion but I will say I have seen better offers through other store cards.

I got approved for a card and it's been 20 business days and still haven't received it yet. Highly pissed off. They had told me they mailed it but now they're giving me the runaround. Hate these bastards. Poor business.

I have been using the Target RedCard four 5 years now and really have no complaints. With a constant 5% off every purchase it is definitely a must have. I have also really enjoyed shopping online with my card, I still get the 5% discount and also free shipping and have never had an issue with this. The only thing to be careful of would be the late charge. Before I set up easy auto pay online I forgot a payment by one day and ended up paying $25 for this mistake, my own fault of course but goodness!

I noticed this week that customers were using their "chip-enabled" bank cards, but when I got to the checkout cashier, I discovered that "security" feature isn't available on Red Cards, WHICH STILL HAVE TO BE SWIPED. It's unbelievable, after Target not only had the GIANT SECURITY BREECH against customers who swiped their bank cards in store, (and that it tried to hide for months,) that Taget has not yet issued chip-enabled Red Cards to all card holders. It's especially dumb after upgrading your in store card readers.
Target has proved again that it is untrustworthy, and it cares only superficially about it customers.

Target is my absolute favorite store, not only because of their prices, but also because of their great savings opportunities. This card is great because it gives an automatic 5% savings every time I use it. That's on top of the Target coupons available (which I can double up with manufacturers' coupons) and the Cartwheel App. I shop there at least once a week, and since I would be spending that money anyway, it made sense to me to get that extra savings. The only issue would be the interest rate, which is higher than my other credit cards, like Discover. But I use the card, then pay off the more

Saving 5 percent isn't even worth it. There customer service completely sucks. The card originally got sent to the wrong address so I call to update the address with no issue, or so I thought. Only to receive a voicemail a couple days later telling me I have to verify the address. I call the number they provided in the voicemail only for the computer operated voice asking me for my entire card number in order to process my call. HELLO! how would I have that if I never received a card in the first place! So I google to find the correct number to call. I get someone on more

I have used my Target Credit Card for several years now. The interest rate that they gave me when I first signed up was great. Usually I am a little iffy of credit cards, but this one has a great interest rate and my payments are very affordable each month. Target's customer service is also excellent. On the few occasions that I had a question, they answered me with no problem at all.

This card is very convenient! It is one of my favorite credit cards to use. And Target is one of my favorite stores. Something I don't like about the card, though, is the high percentage rate. That's why I try to pay off my balance so I do not have to deal with the 22.9% rate. I like the 5% reward that is offered by the card...that is a major plus and is an incentive to use it.

I can't write a review about what I don't like about the offer when I think that the credit department at Target is one of the best out there. They are understanding they give their customers a chance over an over again. They work with you if times get tough and they always treat you with politeness and professionalism. I no longer have this card nor any others but if I were to have one again this would surely be my first choice. It's a great store, a great card, and a great staff. Thank you, Target!

The Target Red Card is simply a no brainier if you shop at Target. Compared to a lot of other store cards, you actually get continuing awards in the form of 5% off everything instead of a onetime signup bonus. Now my one issue with this card is the credit limits they bestow, and the limits are some of the worst I have seen. For instance I received a 300 dollar limit while on other cards I have close to 8,000. Anyhow, besides the limit issue this card is still a good option if you shop at Target. And of course make sure you pay off this card ASAP. Store more

I love using my Target Credit Card for all of my in-store and online purchases. The 5% discount is especially great when making big purchases on many of their sale items. The APR is a little high compared to other credit cards, but I always pay off the card in store whenever I visit the store. It is also a great benefit that local schools get a benefit from the purchases as well.

Great card, but again, I don't like to use it because the APR is so high. Like that they give back to local schools but clearly I'm paying for it with that high ARP. Appreciate the 5% off my purchase too that is a big bonus that makes it comparable Walmart prices.

I personally have this Target Red Card, and while it has advantages of 5% off purchases which you can combine with coupons and other discounts, the interest rate charged is very, very high. The only way I would suggest you get this card is if you are very disciplined in paying off your balance as soon as you make a purchase with it. In other words, go straight to the service desk and pay the balance immediately. That way you will never be charged that rate of interest which would completely wipe out any savings you may have received. Also, if you carry a balance on this card, and if more

I think this card really unfairly targets their typical shopper (no pun intended). Its a very high interest rate with not much of a bonus. The 5% off at any time is great but I have yet to get any additional bonus offers that I get on many other store cards (ie. 10% off if you use your card). Its a very easy card to qualify for but really can get costly quick.

I love my Target Credit Card! What I love the most is the 5% off with purchase. If I use it to purchase my prescriptions from Target as well, I will get a 5% off coupon for every ten prescriptions that I have filled! So there are times when I use my RedCard and that coupon and get 10% off my purchases! Once I was able to make a large furniture purchase like this, coupled with my Cartwheel and online coupon! The 5% adds up over time and has been very handy for me and my family. I didn't know about linking my card to my son's school! I called more

This is one of the best in store credit cards to have, save 5% in store and online, and free shipping from the website is two of my favorite features about this card. There's no annual fee, and percentage is on point with what other stores offer, the late fee is fixed, and Target offers a 25 day grace period to pay your bill. Plus, you can stack your 5% savings with regular coupons from the newspaper!

Normally I don't like any credit card, for any reason. Typically, I feel, they are designed to rip you off. And generally this is correct. However, the Target Red Card credit card breaks the mold, and if you are the sort of person who pays your card in full at the end of the month, then you need to have this card. It will save you all kinds of money. The first benefit is the 5% off every purchase. I love this, it's great, sign me up. Right? Absolutely! 5% adds up! But personally I love this card because I can get unlimited free shipping on any order. I no more

I use this card all the time to save money on things I would be buying at Target anyway. The 5% is a nice savings on necessary household items, and you can still use coupons with it as well.

I have a Target Red Card it is decent, but i would not call it great. Yes you get 5% cash back but depending how much you are spending you only save pennies on the dollar (pennies is better than zero however). The good thing about it is that if you pay off your balance within 3 months there is zero interest. With all this being said I was part of society whom was effected by the Target scam in which I had to get a new Target Card along with a new debit card from my bank, which obviously makes me weary to use it again, especially on big more

I had a Target credit card a few years ago. I liked it a lot. If you shop at target a lot like I do it is great. The 5% off purchases is great. The extra 30 days for returns is helpful, but my favorite part is the free shipping from online purchases. Online shopping is so easy and convenient. Maybe it's just me but I always felt kinda special checking out at Target with my card. It kind of felt like being part of a club, and when you are checking out before you pay and the cashier asks if you want to sign up I enjoyed saying "Yep! more

Just like any other specific-store card, the Target store card is great if you do most of your shopping at Target. It offers 5% off and free shipping from However, it can be a big pain to remember to pay multiple cards every month so I tend to shy away from specific-store cards. They do also offer a Target visa card which you can use anywhere and offers you the same perks at Target as this card does. All in all, a solid card, but you can’t use it everywhere.

As is the case with most store charge cards, the interest rate is very high, and the return is very low. The Target charge card has a 5 percent discount on all purchases which is nice if you shop there often, but its not so nice if you can't pay off your balance every month. Its not at all worth it if you need to carry a balance. Otherwise this card is a pretty no frills, but no fees card. And not really worth the risk of having a balance for most people.

The Target Credit Card had some benefits which include 5% off all purchases, and free shipping for online orders. The interest rate though is very high. I use the card, then pay it off as soon as possible. If I forget though, then I have the finance rate charge to deal with. I like the card enough, but am thinking about going with the debit card instead, this way if I forget to pay right on time I will not have to worry about it since the money is debited directly from your checking account.

I love my Target Credit Card. The card allows me to get 5% off of everything as well as free shipping for my online orders. It does have a rather high interest rate, but I am one of those people who pay things off right away, so I am never affected. I also enjoy the fact that I can manage everything online. Since I shop at Target a lot, it is definitely worth it for me. I have yet to take advantage of the 30 days extra on returns, but that is another small perk of the card. The Target Credit Card is Awesome!! You earn all kinds of discounts just for using the card! Even though the interest rate is kind of high, if you pay it off in time you can avoid a lot of that. They don't have a cash advance option, but maybe that is just as well, keeps me out of trouble. It's a great card for someone just starting out trying to build their credit history.

This is a great card for a couple of different reasons. If you are just starting out and would like to apply for a credit card, you are almost certain to be approved for this card. Additionally, if you do a lot of shopping at Target (primary store), then the 5% off bonus is also pretty nice. The downside is there is no cashback rewards (offsets with the 5% off) and the APR is quite high. If you decide to proceed with this credit card, make sure you promptly pay your bills!

I love using my Target card to make purchases. The interest is high, however it is comparable to other store cards. But what this store card offers that others don't - it gives a 5% discount when you use the card, it gives you rewards, as well as free shipping when you order online. These are greater benefits than any other store card I have had! The only reason I did not give 5 starts was because it was a hassle when their computers were hacked and I have some concerns about how secure they store their information. Overall, it is a great card with excellent benefits!

I really enjoy using my Target credit card. One of my favorite things about this card is the fact that i receive free shipping on my online orders. There is not a certain amount that I have to spend to receive this feature. I also love getting 5% off of all of my purchases. I combine this with special offers and coupons and it ends up saving me a good amount of money. The customer service staff is always nice and helpful as well.

This is by far my favorite store card. They have free shipping for all online orders, regardless of the price, no annual fee and 5% off of everything! The 5% combines with other deals and coupons so it if you're ever going to shop at Target it just makes sense to have their credit card! I shop with them much more often now because of the benefits from my card!

The Target card is one of the very few store credit cards that I own. The reason is simple; it saves me money in the form of a) 5% off on each and every purchase, either online or in store and b) free shipping on every order, no matter how large or small. Typically my orders are small and would not qualify for free shipping so now that I have the card I can pick up whatever I want and have it shipped for free. I pay the balance in full every month and cannot speak to the interest rate; my recommendation is pay your bills in full every month, more

I use the Target card a few times a week. I love that I get to save 5% on every purchase, online or in store. I take advantage of the Free Shipping when I order online. Saves me a trip to the store (and gas). I even get coupons with my card statement, which is nice. I also get cardholder coupon booklets in the mail occasionally (another perk!).. All in all, I recommend the Target Redcard if you shop there a lot or just once in awhile. It will save you money, and you get perks just for joining. Also, no annual fee.

If you are a frequent Target shopper, the Target Credit Card is excellent for maximizing your money. At 5% cash back on all Target purchases it far outpaces the other cards on the market without an annual fee. Cards like the Citi Double Cash (2% back) and Capital One Quicksilver (1.5%) are near the top in terms of rewards, yet don't come close to 5%. However, I would highly recommend this not being your primary card, because it offers no rewards whatsoever on any purchases outside of Target. The added bonuses of increasing the return date by 30 days as well as free shipping at also sweeten the rewards more

Obtaining my Target card was very easy, and I really enjoy the discount that using the card provides. However, getting additional cards for my family members to use (on the same account) was a tremendous hassle. They also won't let you change the billing address at the same time as you make other changes to the account - it just voids the card. They don't tell you that and it is a huge inconvenience. But I am happy to use the card because of the savings I achieve with it. Now if Walmart also had a discount card and use of that card avoided these issues, I might switch. But more

There are a few things that turn me off about this card, but I want to point out the most obvious:

Lacks Smart Chip Technology - Considering Target had a massive security breach that was all over the news last year, I am shocked this card has no smart chip. This alone is an absolute deal breaker. The crazy thing is, they didn't even bother to post a notice on their website nor temporarily disable purchases until the breach was resolved. I had to find out seeing it in the news. Bad for business. So no way I'll be applying for this card. No smart chip, no business from me. Period. more

I like the Target Store Card. It's better than the Sears one I have. I like that I can get bonus points. And that I can get an extra 30 days for returns. And if I use it with my Target Pharmacy card, I get even more bonus back. Also because I do so much shopping from home, this card is great because it lets me get free shipping from the . That alone is enough of a reason for me to use the card. I am definitely going to apply for one soon. Might even cut up my Sears store card.
