Ulta Credit Card points are pretty valuable, too, worth 3 cents to 6.25 cents each, depending on how many you redeem. Cardholders can also earn elite status and increased rewards rates by spending at least $500 in a calendar year.
The biggest downsides of the Ulta Credit Card are its high APR and the fact that applicants can’t specifically apply for either the Mastercard or store credit card version of the offer. You will first be considered for the Mastercard, which requires a 700+ credit score for good approval odds. If you don’t qualify for the Ulta Mastercard, you will then be considered for the Ulta store credit card, which is generally available to people with credit scores of 640+. Those things don’t have to be deal breakers, though.
Below, you can find more information to help you decide whether or not to apply for the Ulta Card. If you have questions about an existing account, the Ulta Credit Card customer service number is 866-254-9971.
Ulta Credit Card Review Highlights:
• Annual Fee:$0 • Initial Bonus:500 Points + 20% discount • Ongoing Rewards:0.33 - 2 points / $1 • Interest Rate:23.24% - 32.24% (V) • Rewards Redemption: Ulta Credit Card users can redeem points for Ulta Beauty products and services at varying rates. Redeeming 100 Ultamate Rewards points gets you $3 off, for example, while 250 points equal $8 off, 500 points are worth $17.50 and so on – all the way up to 2,000 points for $125 off.
Bottom Line: Is the Ulta Credit Card Worth It?
Yes. The Ulta Credit Card is worth it because it has a $0 annual fee and good rewards. Just make sure to pay the bill in full by each due date in order to avoid interest charges, which could skew the value proposition.

One of the worst cards ever. My payment was on the 14th, but they charged me on the 12th for a late fee. I called them to get my money back, but the lady said our system shows the 11th.

I am a credit card based consumer and by far the WORST credit card I've ever owned. BEWARE! Late charges $39.99 plus $40 fees. There are other credit cards that offer incentives and really worth having. This was a HUGE mistake. Sounds great at first but can't say that now. My credit limit was at $400. I lost my job and missed some payments and although I did not use my card the balance went up to $1400. ?I pay what I can and still I get calls 6-7 times a day including weekends, don't get me started on the text messages. No matter what the account balance continues to go up with or without payments made.

Only use it at Ulta, and buyer beware. I have put this card at the bottom of my shoebox! They don't accept or listen to the account user. If you tell them you didn't authorize the purchase, they don't care. If you tell them you didn't receive the merchandise, they don't care. Oh yes, they will open a fraud case but come back later and say it's not fraud.
I don't have any problems with my other Mastercards. But this credit card company, Bread or Comenity or Ulta Mastercard, doesn't take the side of the user.
I have filed a complaint with the BBB against this company and the less reputable company that has no real address to write a Google review to warn others.
Now, put this card back, and use another like Discover, Mastercard, your bank card, Costco card, etc. At least, those companies take the side of the payer/user.
Also, for the company representatives reading these emails, I am going to keep posting negative reviews and cost you more money than it would to do the right thing. LOL!?

I love Ulta; they're a bit on the expensive side, but the attention and care you get from the wonderful people that work there is priceless. The customer service is amazing. Thank you all. Go Ulta, shop there—it’s worth it. 10 out of 5 stars rating. ?❤️

Awful service! I paid off my balance in full, but they charged me interest after the payment and never sent an email to inform me I had accrued interest. Then they charged me a late fee for not paying it. Now they are telling me they won't remove the interest and will not waive the late fee either. I'm so glad I canceled this credit card. I had no issues with any of the other cards I paid off. Do not get this card.

The worst mistake of my life was opening a credit card with them! Please do yourself a favor and never get their credit card. They are deceivers. I had an account with them and just after a few months of not using it, when I tried to use it again, they had closed my account. They opened a new account for me and when I received my first bill, I set up auto-pay and forgot about it. Months later, when I wanted to check my balance, I logged in and it showed $0 remaining. It turns out that was my old account, and my new account was accruing late fees the entire time. Every time I tried to log into the new account, it didn't exist and only showed my old account balance. Every time I called customer service, they didn't help me, and all they said was that they would close the old account to prevent this from happening. This happened 2 years ago, and to this day, when I try to see my current balance, it only shows my old account which is $0. They ruined my credit! I had originally only spent $75, and for some reason, auto-pay didn't work, resulting in at least 6 late fees, and my balance increased to over $300. The customer service is useless, and I’m still trying to pay off this credit card without knowing how much I owe.

I've never had such a bad time with a credit card! I was charged a late fee, got it waived but they kept charging late fees even though I paid it off every month early. Found out I was being charged fees for things that were posted after each statement. No way to win with this one. Just closed it out and I'm waiting to see if they really send my almost $500 to me via check as promised.

Horrible customer service. Will cancel card. I placed an order of $519 from Ulta. They left it at my doorstep. I was gone hosting a baby shower all weekend and was never notified the package was delivered . It still shows pending to ship to this day online. So now I have to pay for products I never received. This is bullsh**. I am so angry fumes are coming out of my head. I explained everything to them. I have had many expensive items delivered before never an issue. But the one time I'm not home or not alerted they are holding me accountable. I am going to contact our local News station and see if they will help me get my money back. 7 on your side here I come. Ulta you just lost a customer!

Too money hungry for me. I will never give them my business again. I paid my balance and got a late fee. That late fee wasn't paid as I thought it was and then guess what? Not only did they charge me interest on the late fee, they charged me another one. This is too horrible to believe.

Kept charging fees AFTER I paid the balance off. I used the card for a $50 purchase in August. I paid the balance completely off the next month. In October I got a bill for $16. They had charged $2 in interest AFTER I paid the balance off then charged me $14 late fee. So I called the representative & asked her to settle the account in full. She assured me my balance was completely paid off and I would get no more bills in the mail. But I just got a bill for $33! I called to see why I was still being charged late fees and was told I didn’t pay my full balance! They refused to reverse the fees. So I just paid it and cancelled the card. This card is garbage and super shady. Save yourself the headache. Would give negative stars if I could.
