This is a good card and Wells Fargo customer service is always a bonus. The point system of rewards is a little difficult to understand at first, but works out to be favorable. Their interest rates and fees are about equal to the card that I normally use, but it's not a great idea to use this card for cash advances because that's where the rates go up substantially. A card like this is handy for people like me who travel on a regular basis because there are definite rewards for booking airfare and rental cars.

The rewards program on the Wells Fargo Rewards card leaves much to be desired - they offer an ambiguous points based system, which I find difficult to translate into tangible value. I much prefer a simple cash back rewards program. In my case, with the Capitol One Quicksilver, I get 1.5% cash back on all purchases, including my rent and utilities. This discount adds up quickly each month, and I know exactly what I'm getting. The one advantage this card has is that there is no annual fee.

This is an excellent credit card for everyday usage. I like to use this card instead of my debit for all of the extra protection it offers from fraud, as well as the bonus points to use towards cash back or other incentives. My other card is an AMEX Blue and this Wells Fargo Rewards cards beats it easily! The card provides 0% apr for the first year, which is another added bonus. The best part about the card is it provides 5 points for every $1 you spend on gas, grocery, and drugstore shopping trips for the first 6 months. I give the card 5 stars for an everyday more

This is my go to card when I fill up my car, because there rewards points for it is generously high ( 5 points per $ spent), not bad, especially since I gas almost every week. Their interest rates and fees are up to par with most of the other credit cards around. What I won't do with this card is make cash advances on it, since the rates are high. What I especially love about this card is, its the only one I have that has a built in gold chip on it, which gives me the extra security I need, and want in a credit card. I'm planning more

This is a very good credit card, though not the one I use for daily purchases, because the rate is variable and I prefer the fixed rate (and 3x rewards, since I frequently shop Amazon) that I get with my Amazon Rewards card. I keep this as an occasional use card, and as overdraft protection for my Wells Fargo checking account (and it helps me get free checking which is something to look into if you also have other Wells Fargo products, which is a tidy reward in it's own right). The rewards are OK and they do sometimes have promos for extra rewards. The major selling point that keeps more

This is a good card. I have always had success with Wells Fargo customer service. I have a different Wells Fargo credit card linked to my account in order to avoid overdraft fees. It works out quite nicely when things like that happen. The rewards are similar to my Capital One venture card. The interest rate is pretty standard. Also the introductory rate is great. You can even transfer balances for 12 months for 0%, obviously at times this would come in very handy. I would definitely recommend this card to friends and family and would even consider it for personal use.

We've had this card for 14+ years, I just found a car rental for about half of what the big travel sites were running, I didn't have enough points to get it free and clear, but was able to use my points and cover the rest with $. So it really worked well. I ordered plane tickets for my parents awhile back and the Wells Fargo Rewards website had tickets on Southwest Airlines lower than Every time we have looked to go to a different card, the Wells Fargo Signature still wins out. We pay the balance every month so I haven't had any dealings with the interest rate. more

Compared to my Capital One platinum card, this seems to be a great card with lot's of benefits. The interest rate can be a bit high but I think the rewards make up for that. I like the fact that you can link the card to a checking account to avoid overdraft fees. Roadside dispatch and emergency assistance services can come in real handy! This card is way better than the one I have now!

The Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card has various options that make it highly consumer favored. The Intro Rates provided for the card aren’t matched by many card of its caliber, as it covers both purchases AND transfers. The cash advance fee is smaller than the card that I use, which makes it useful to get cash in a pinch, without being put back too much. The cash back program goes up to 5% for gas and grocery shopping, a 2% increase from their college credit card. However, the regular rate appears to have the possibility of reaching high numbers, up to 25.99%, which is very high.

The rewards and incentives for this card seem like a very good deal. I typically do not leave a balance on my card so the interest rate is not an issue for me. If you take advantage of all of the rewards, you can really save a lot of money.

I like that this card offers 5 points for every dollar spent on gas. That's extremely high and considering that I spend $50+ per tank fill, this can really add up to some serious rewards. I use the Chase Signature credit card and American Express Premium rewards as my primary cards and while they don't quite stack up on the gas front, my American Express card offers fantastic rewards overall which I think outshine this card. The Chase card however doesn't stack up with the offerings of the Wells Fargo card.

Although the interest on the card is a bit high for me, I can say my experience with this card has been fine. I get around $25/3 months in rewards for groceries and gas, which is great because I just put it back into the credit card. They do offer more points per dollar for certain items, but those items have to be bought through their online rewards store (things like flowers for delivery for mom). I'm giving the card 4 stars because I've had it for 6 years now, have received a credit limit boost each review period, have never made a late payment on it, and still am more

The Wells Fargo Rewards credit card seems like a cool credit card to have. You get reward points (with each point being $1) for buying everyday items and you can use those points to make other purchases like travel. I think the interest rate is pretty decent as well.

I am loving this card! Having a long relationship with Wells Fargo as my bank, it's a company I can trust. This card has been great for gaining rewards for trips I have planned. The amount of gas and groceries I buy per year adds up to free trips with this card. Having no yearly fee and 0% interest for the entire first year has been a god send. I would definitely recommend this card, awesome company, great rewards and low interest rates.

The Wells Fargo Rewards Card has different opportunities to receive bonus points than the other cards I have. I haven't seen any others that give you five points for groceries and gas. It would be nice if they offered an initial bonus, but the bonus points should add up fast.

The thing that I like about the Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card is that you can earn points on money spent. And the cash advance fee is very low at 5% compared to my Capital one card that is at 24.99%. I also like that you can link your credit card to your checking account to help avoid any overdraft fees. All in all I think this a great card and think it should definitely be considered if you're looking for a new card.

The Wells Fargo Rewards card is a great and convenient card to have and offers great rewards for money spent. However, the regular rate can be eye-wateringly high and cause you trouble if you aren't careful, so only choose this card over a card like Capital One Venture Rewards if you are careful about money.

The Wells Fargo Rewards card offers some great perks. In this era of tight money even a small amount of cash back on purchases is a big bonus. Also great is the fact that you can use the rewards in so many different ways. When it is time for a new credit card I will certainly consider this one.

I think it is a great card, one of the best things about the card would be all the rewards you would get just for charging what you normally would. The only downside would be I don't have perfect credit so would never qualify.

I like the Wells Fargo Visa Signature card for it gives me reward points for every $ that I spend with it. In the past I have purchased items such as an Apple iPOD Video with the points, as well as having redeemed the points for cash back checks in the amount of $100 each. It is accepted internationally and is a great card to have! They also have a "Rewards" web site where you can redeem your points, and they have a very large selection of items to choose from. And that includes gift cards from many of the bigger retailers out there.

The Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card, compared to some of my other credit cards seems to be a good deal. I really like the fact that I can get up to 5 points for every dollar I spend on gas and groceries. That is a large percentage of what I use a credit card for and this will really rack up in the first 6 months. Some of my other cards still have blackout dates for travel redemption, and this card does not have any blackout dates. This is a major plus for me. Otherwise it seems to stack up pretty closely with my other credit cards.

I've been comparing this card to my Amex blue cash preferred card. First off is the interest rates. With my Amex card there is only a maximum potential of a 22% rate. For the Wells Fargo card it goes up to 26%. It's unlikely that would be my or your rate, but it's something to keep in mind.

Next is rewards. With my Amex card it is strictly cash back and I can earn up to 6% back when I use it at the grocery store, 3% for gas and 1% for everything else. the Wells Fargo card works on a point system, but I feel they win in this category more

The Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card, in my opinion, is an amazing card to have. Other credit cards do not have a rewards system as good as this one. In comparison to the Bank of America Credit Card, the benefits are so much better. A lot of other banks hit you with fees that you didn't even know you would ultimately have to pay for. With the Wells Fargo Credit Card any fees they might hit you with they make sure you know ahead of time.

I've been comparing several different cards, and I've found that the Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card is a good overall choice. I like the introductory APR, and when used responsibly this card can offer great membership benefits. Visa is universally accepted, and the point rewards are better than a lot of cards I've reviewed. I personally like AE cards better, but this card offers a better standard interest rate after the introductory period ends. One thing I always look for are annual fees. They really eat up my rewards because I don't typically use credit cards on a daily basis. I think there are better choices for myself, and my more

The Wells Fargo Rewards Card has fair rates, especially for those who qualify, with a floor of 12%. Still, if you aren't as fortunate as some you could be looking at a rate as high as 26% which is quite high and would send me looking elsewhere for a credit card. The real meat and potatoes of this card is the reward system and since I don't have a card with a great rewards plan I wanted to look further into this card. The first 6 months you can really stack up points earning 5 for every $1 spent at select stores. After that you drop to a 1 for more

The Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card is an okay rewards card when compared to other options on the market. The 6 month intro rate of 5 points back per dollar is a nice perk, but obviously not permanent. The 12 month 0% interest rate is probably one of the biggest advantages to this card right now. And then the regular rate of 12.15% - 25.99% is really decent compared to other cards. The redeem limit is not capped, which is also a plus! However, there are other rewards cards that might offer more bang for you buck long-term. The American Express Blue Cash card offers 5% on grocery, gas, and more

Many of the prevailing features of the Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card are strikingly similar to most of the rewards program credit cards currently being offered. Standard rewards rate is 1 point for every dollar spent with a max earnings level of 5 points for each dollar. Nothing to get overly excited about as this is a pretty standard rewards level. The Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card has an average appeal when it comes to balance transfer perks, with 12 months interest free, but also with a 3% transfer charge per balance. The standard interest rate after the introductory period of 12 months for all purchases has as vast a more

Looking at the Wells Fargo rewards credit card makes me wish that I would have gotten this card instead of the one I have currently! With up to 5 points earned per dollar when you use the card at specific locations, those points will add up quickly. On top of that you get 1 point for every dollar earned everywhere else you use the card. Not to mention the huge selection of point redemption options. The possible low interest rate of 12% just makes this card even more appealing, as well as the 0% interest rate for 12 months. I also really like the 25 day grace period for late payments.

For those with excellent credit the Wells Fargo Rewards program is an excellent choice for purchasing power. It gives you more bang for your buck as the reward program is great. You get 1 point for every $1 spent and 5 reward points for every $1 spent on groceries, gas and drugstore purchases. There is so much you can do with your reward points, but the things I do most with them is use them for travel. They offer travel rewards without blackout dates which is important. What good are travel rewards if you can't use them when you are available to travel? A similar card is the Sony Card more

My chief concern in applying for this card is the “excellent” credit rating requirement. A lot of Americans surely don’t have excellent credit, making this card a poor choice for most people.

Although I enjoy a zero percent APR offer, I would be concerned what my real APR will be when this card’s actual APR kicks in. I also enjoy having a card that can move money from my checking account to my credit line to avoid card declines—especially when that service is free—however, hopefully that will not be an issue. Travel points are not a worry for me providing the APR is low. This would be a good card, assuming more

The Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card is an okay rewards credit card, but there are many other rewards credit cards that have more to offer. The best part about this card is the 5 points per dollar spent on gas and groceries, but unfortunately that stops after six months and reverts to 1 point per dollar spent everywhere. Many other rewards credit cards are better, such as Bank of America that will give you $100 rewards PLUS up to 3% back on purchases, and that doesn't expire after six months. The APR is standard with other rewards credit cards, 0% for the first 12 months then around 12-26 after that. more

This is a basic rewards card. There is not much that is special about this card. Here are a few of the things I liked:
I like that they have a grace period that is 25 days. For me that is pretty flexible. I have had good experiences regarding their grace period. Also, I like that there is no overlimit fee and no max penalty APR. This is pretty helpful for those of us late on payments.

The Wells Fargo Rewards Credit Card is a safe bet for anyone. One of the downsides, however, is the late fee of thirty five dollars.

I got the Wells Fargo Reward Card, because I bank at Wells Fargo, I set it up so my balance gets automatically paid out of my checking account. I can alter the payment amount anytime with ease, if I ever do splurge on something big or need to make an emergency payment on something. I haven’t had to do that yet. What I like, is that I can easily build points by doing this. With 2 kids who are going through growth spurts, I am spending a lot on groceries early on, so I am building points quick, I have had the card for three months and am quite pleased more

While it's not bad, the Wells Fargo Rewards card is pretty basic, without any benefits that really stand out over most other cards that are out there. The cash advance fees and interest rates are pretty high, and the foreign transaction fee of 3% is very high, so using this card out of the country isn't advised. The rewards point system is basic, with most purchases being a straightforward 1 point for each dollar spent. In the initial 6 months of owning the card they offer 5 points for each dollar spent on grocery, gas, and drugstore purchases, which is a nice bonus, but it's only temporary. While it's not more

The Wells Fargo Rewards Card is not that great compared to the other credit cards out there. While companies like Capital One are offering 1.25% back on all purchases with a no annual fee card, Wells Fargo is offering 1% back on all purchases. The big difference is that the introductory promotion is 5% back on gas, grocery, and drugstore within the first 6 months, but there are other cards that have much better introductory offers that don't require spending in certain categories. For example, the Chase Freedom card has a $100 sign up bonus for spending $500 in the first 3 months. You're better off going with either of the other two cards I mentioned.

I have never had an account with Wells Fargo but an offer came in the mail and I applied for the card and was approved. The process was quite simple and I received the card in the mail which took less than 5 days. I use this card for small purchases and pay the balance every month in order to avoid fees. I got this card with a high interest rate and I have other cards with lower rates so using this card is not so feasible for me. Only for small and urgent purchases. I have never looked into their rewards program, that is something I should look into more

My Wells Fargo Credit card was inadvertently cancelled by a Wells Fargo agent. First of all the agent did not tell me that the card was cancelled. I was not able to use the card in a restaurant. What an embarrassment in the presence of my guests. Next I called to activate the card back. They created a new card and let the old card deactivate. I asked for the reward points to be moved to the new card. I was assured that it would not be a problem and would be posted in the next statement. The next statement came and my points were not there. I called again more

The Wells Fargo Rewards Card is pretty basic when it comes to rewards credit cards. It's the standard 1% back which you can find with pretty much any Visa card out there. They claim you can make up to 10% back by using their online shopping portal, but it's no different from the same portals offered by other cards like Capital One. When you also consider it has a foreign transaction fee of 3% and a limit on the amount of rewards you can earn annually, I cannot really recommend this card. I give it two stars because it has a rewards program, but there are better ones out there.

I was very excited to find out about this Wells Fargo Rewards Credit card because I bank with Wells Fargo. It got me excited about the rewards program because if you're going to have a credit card I think it should have some good incentives. I like that there is no annual fee because many cards now days like the Southwest Credit Card require a steep annual fee to use their card. From what I know about credit cards the APR seems pretty good, though the cash advance rate seems pretty high. This seems like a great card to use to buy smaller things and build up your credit that more

I think everyone is being really generous with their reviews of this Wells Fargo Rewards Credit card. The foreign transaction fee is 3%, there's a sky high cash-advance fee, and the APR is really nothing to squeal about. I agree- it's a good card to use as a beginner, but it doesn't really offer anything exciting for someone with better credit. There's no miles, and it seems like a very closed reward system with a simple 1:1 ratio UNLESS you pay more via their online shopping center. I've had better cards (0 charge when I withdraw from other ATMs, 0 charge when I withdraw in a foreign country, and MUCH more
