The X1 Credit Card annual fee is $0 - $75. X1 Credit Card's $0 - $75 annual fee is higher than the average annual fee among new credit card offers right now. It's not the only fee you need to worry about with the X1 Credit Card, either.
No, the X1 Credit Card is not a charge card, it is a regular credit card.
The main difference between a charge card and a traditional credit card is that charge cards don't allow you to carry a balance between months.
Both types of cards allow you to buy now and pay later. Charge cards require the payment to be made for the full amount you owe at the end of the billing cycle. Regular...
There is no disclosed X1 Credit Card income requirement. When it comes to income, the only thing that will be taken into account is whether you will be able to afford paying your new line of credit or not.

The X1 Visa card is awesome! LOVE the instant CASH BACK REWARDS. There are weekly boosts which allow you to earn even more rewards for everyday purchases such as gas, restaurants, and groceries. The only negative thing is no live customer support. You can send a text through the app, but sometimes it can take a day to get a response. So if you are an irresponsible user who constantly is late on payments and needing support, I would stay away. But if you enjoy a 17g card that is beautiful and stands out, with great rewards, this is the card for you.

X2 points doesn't mean 2% back... but this card is still useful.
You can only get a full 2% back if you use points to pay off purchases from certain stores that aren't everyday shopping places (like REI or Sony; however, if you use PayPal with the card, you can't pay off the purchases). It's 1.4% cash back if you just want point to cash conversion.
They give like 5 various category boosters that can be used once a week, which is decent.
The X1 card allows for the creation of single-use digital cards, which is its best feature.
Customer service is very responsive via text.
Overall, it's a decent card.

My card was placed on hold for 5 days - right after I had paid off the full amount. * 5 days of not being able to use my card is MUCH too long * No information is provided as to why the card is put on hold * Some automatic payments were declined and I have to manually fix this * There was no reason to put my card on hold -- card paid off and there was no fraudulent activity * I never received any information as to why the card was put on hold * I reached out to the support by text - response time of about 30 minutes for each message (a bit slow) * Support is useless, as all they can tell is that the account is on hold and that nothing can be done to speed up the process
This experience was horrible and I will stop using this card.

Tried to make a large purchase on the card within my credit limit, got denied and support team said there's nothing they can do to manually approve the transaction. Support team is willing to do absolutely nothing to help resolve the situation.

I did consider the X1 card to be a great credit card until they unjustly lowered my $25,000 credit limit to $4,000. Which in turn made my credit card utilization 90%. I have never been late on any payments and my credit score was 720. Their written reason was because I didn't pay enough on my payment which is ironic because I made a $750 payment. It is my opinion that being able to arbitrary lower your credit limit for no real good reason is unfair. Now I suffered a credit score decrease due to them. Thanks for nothing!

Card started out strong with great benefits, which they have unfortunately been chipping away at. It's still a solid card at the end of the day as long as you are taking advantage of the boosts.

Terrible card and customer service is worse. I got this card for the metal aspect but I failed to do my research prior to getting this card. My day started with my account getting a hold due to potential fraudulent activity even though I confirmed by text/email that the charge referenced was me. After that, I had seven charges declined for no rhyme or reason from Amazon. Their reasoning was “we declined these charges.” After calling the text number provided I was promoted back to email or text. I want to actually speak to someone not a bot. They informed me to try again the following day, which I did, only to have it declined once more. I am promptly cancelling this card. Go with the Amex platinum if you have great credit and don’t mind paying an annual fee.

The card looks cool but apparently they don't like you spending money on it. Two weeks after getting it they put a hold on it until I reduced my balance. This was after I made a $500 payment before the first statement was even issued. Never in my life have I had a credit card do this. I got a card for my daughter to use and they decided to put the hold on until the balance was reduced and while she was out of town. I'll pay it off in full when I get the first statement and close the account.

Did they tell you explicitly until you pay the balance down there will be a hold? I am in a similar situation and have paid my balance in full prior to even receiving a bill however my charges keep getting declined and they can’t give me an explanation.

The X1 Card is a fantastic rewards credit metal card, that includes several benefits. You can make up to 10 points per dollar spent by referring friends.

I got the X1 card a year ago. Applying was easy, no hard credit check, and got the highest initial credit line of any card I've ever gotten of any credit card. I've used it casually over the last year for small things and keeping a $0 balance on it.
The credit card features up front are great. The customer service on the back end is horrendous.
In March of 2023 while planning a trip with a friend I decided to use the card so it'd be easier to split the total amount at the end of the trip vs. having to figure out the exact numbers from my Amex card later. I booked a hotel 2 months in advance and paid the remaining at check in when we arrived.
We ended up having multiple issues with our rooms - dirty sheets in 1st room, human hair all over the sheets in 2nd room, and was given the key to an occupied room for our 3rd room - that we requested a refund and were given 2 sheets of paper for 2 rooms stating a refund was given.
After 10 business days the refund still hadn't shown up so I tried going through the proper channels of the hotel to get my money back twice. Both times I was promised a refund and never got it. I finally decided to dispute the charges and submit all the paperwork to X1 for the dispute. This is where this credit card falls apart.
There's no number to talk to a human being about your card. You either email them or chat through text via the app. A dispute through the app only allows you to upload 1 individual picture for your dispute vs. multiple. So once I submitted the dispute I texted the customer service line for the card. My initial text took 3 hours before I got a response. I submitted the additional photos for the dispute and waited.
The app states you get a provisional refund on your card within 10-15 business days and the dispute can take up to 90 days to resolve. As of today its been 13 business days and I've yet to hear anything from X1 and haven't seen any provisional credits on my card.
This card says its smart and looks it through the ease of use through the app, but once you have to deal with a dispute or customer service it becomes the worst card on the market. Even Chase isn't this bad and I really wish I'd used my Amex for this trip instead of the X1 card. At least their customer service is top notch and I wouldn't have been in limbo over (almost) $1,000 for over a month.
Definitely not a card you want to use as your daily card if you care about the back end customer service.
