I recieved this card a few years ago when I was trying to rebuild my credit. I was told that if I could get a credit card it was a good idea to help build my credit. I was not sure about it at first due to the hight interest rates and fees. But I decided to go ahead and get it because I really needed to build up my credit. I received a $350 credit limit with the card but after the fees I had $150 available. I never had a problem with the card. Customer service was always decent when I needed to talk to a real person. They reported to the credit agencies often. Overall this is a decent card for someone to get if they are trying to rebuild or build up there credit.

This is a really good starter card that will help to increase your credit. Not to mention, sometimes just having a credit card can come in handy and not everyone can get one. This is where First Premier comes in handy. As long as you are diligent and are sure to pay the card each month and not miss a payment, you'll reap many a reward from having this as a starter card. When I had no credit at all this was the only card that would give me a chance and from there I have been able to grow my credit and get other cards.

This is the perfect card to rebuild your credit. No hidden fees and is very reasonable in APR.

I have a reallly low income and very bed credit and wouldn't even want a credit card for most things but I don't often have enough in my account for things like renting a car where they need to have a deposit or somethng. First premier gold was the only card I could get and had a manageable 300 limit. The biggest problems are that mastercard isn't accepted everywhere and you can only pay with your checking account online andit takes over a week to process from your bank account and longer to be credited to your account, also I can never be sure how much of an available balance I have based on what I've spent. but all in all it serves its purpose.

I recieved an invitation for this card two years ago. After excepting the card, I was given a $350 credit limit. I have been very happy with the card and company. After one year I was able to get the credit limit increased of $500. At this point, my credit limit is $650. I had to file a dispute with the credit card company at one point and they were very helpful. An online vendor had charged my credit card three times for the same purchase. After haggling with the vendor with no resolve, I contacted First Premier customer service. They disputed the charges for me and were able to credit my account all of the overpayment. I am a very happy customer.

My initial credit limit for the card was $300 but by the time all the fees were accessed I only had $80 available to use. It's not the best credit card but given my credit score it was the only non-secured credit card I qualified for. I was actually shocked when I was approved. I had applied with several credit card companies for people with bad credit and they all wanted deposits before issuing a card. My First Premier credit card has come in handy. It allows me to rent cars without having to put down a big deposit. I have had it for about a year now and I will probably have it for some years to come.
