US Bank credit cards are "bar-none" among the worst credit cards. I had some financial difficulties due to loosing my job, and I was able to consolidate most of my credit cards with the exception of US Bank. US Bank sent my credit card balance as a write-off (even tough I was in the process of consolidating my outstanding balances). After two years, I was able to pay the full amount of the money owed to this credit card, but my credit still shows a "Writeoff" on every single month that the amount was outstanding. It is worth mentioning that I had come to an agreement to pay monthly balances (which I did without missing my payments), but my credit report showed every single month that the amount was outstanding as a writeoff. Please avoid getting a credit card with U.S. Bank.
