A true industry game-changer, the Capital One Venture Card has long been one of the market’s best and most popular offers. Venture cardholders don’t need to worry about underhanded pricing tactics or obfuscated terms, earning the miles-equivalent of 2% cash back across all purchases – with no rotating categories, earnings limits or other fundamental restrictions. All you need to do is use your miles to pay for travel-related charges after they post to your account – a fact which provides a wealth of booking freedom relative to most travel rewards cards. Venture currently offers an initial bonus worth $400 in travel expenses as well, so if you’ve been thinking about more

I decided to purchase the Capital One Venture Rewards credit card because I had a close friend with the card who had nothing but positive reviews about the card. I obtain points each time I use my card and have been able to use these points for later purchases. I like this perk very much, but the one thing I would improve is how much we get back. Instead of 40,000 miles, it should be smaller, such as 20,000 or even 30,000. In the end though I would recommend this card to users because there's no expiration date and you can keep earning as much as you'd want.

Over the years I have had many experiences with "rewards" cards. But I have to say that my Capital One Venture Card, has provided me with more solid and noticeable rewards than any of the others! I travel a lot as a backpacker, thus getting everything I can for my money spent, only adds to my ability to travel! The miles and rewards add up quickly, as well as a solid interest rate, this credit card has been perfect for my needs!! And on top of that, no foreign transaction fees!!

I am somebody who travels multiple times per year, so I know a thing or two about rewards programs for airline miles. In my opinion, the Capitol One Venture Rewards program is one of the best options out there for travelers. There is a reason that this card is so highly recommended for people who are living abroad. I love banking with Capitol one, and I've been a customer of theirs from the very beginning.

This card has been absolutely awesome. 2 miles for every $1 spent is a very tough deal to beat. Capital One is also one of the top companies because of it's fraud protection and customer service. You cannot go wrong picking a Capital One back credit card. So, if you have the credit line to apply and can use the miles for vacationing or leisure, then this is a great card for you.

The Capital One Venture Card is a must for the avid traveler. The miles add up very quickly at 2 miles for every dollar spent. Once every year I redeem my miles to pay for my annual trip to see my family in Ireland. While there is an annual fee, it is still far less than the cost of the tickets that I obtain every year.

I got this card basically to take advantages of the miles rewards, and that this card does very well. You will be adequately rewarded with miles if you use this credit card. That being said, it irritates me to no end that I have to pay a $59 annual fee. I spend thousands on this card and it really feels petty. I don't see why Capital One feels the need to nickel and dime their customers. The APR is nothing to get excited about, it seems to be pretty standard, and I am sure they would happily jack the rates if you have a single late payment. Miles are good more

I've been a user of Capital One for many years now and have never had a problem and always enjoyed their service. I recently got the venture reward card as my job has me traveling more and the rewards included are awesome. I get great bonuses for how many miles I travel and is especially nice for long trips that require air travel. So far I've been happy with my experience using this card and don't see myself switching anytime soon.

I have a regular Capital One Platinum Credit Card and also got this Venture Credit Card solely for the miles benefit. Once I spent $3000 I got a bonus 40K miles which was not hard to spend and for every $1 spent I got 2 miles, which was also awesome. I travel a lot to see my family, so any miles I can get to lessen the expense to see my family is helpful. I can use the miles anytime and there are no blackout dates.

I love this card mainly for the Air miles I get. They add up pretty quick so I love that I can take a trip every couple months or so in the continental US or if i save up for a while a trip more farther away. Its easy to use the miles because you can buy the tickets anywhere and then the miles get subtracted at the end of the month so you don't have to worry about having black out dates or anything like that. All in all a great card!

I've used capital one for years and never had a problem. Their interest rates are fair and their customer service helpful. This particular car the capital one venture rewards card, looks like a great deal for people who travel. You can get lots of miles/points. I like the feature that time miles don't expire. That would let you save them up for a bigger trip.

Do NOT get this card!!! They use a ridiculous fraud prevention algorithm that keeps declining my purchases and it's incredibly frustrating! It's a travel card, for pete's sake, and they freak out when they see international purchases! They had declined some reservation I made in Peru like a month ago, and I had to call to get that straightened out, but then they declined a reservation for Machu PIcchu tickets last night. I called and they assured me there was now an alert on my account and that it would go through next time. So I tried again, maybe an hour after I spoke with them, and it was declined more

Let me say one thing, I've been with Capital One for a long time and it's a great company. I don't have this card because I don't have use for mileage, but I will say they are a decent company. To those of you that say the card looks great, let me ask you a question? Who cares what a card looks like? It's designed to swipe for a purchase not impress somebody, if you are so shallow that you care what kind of card you're using and whos looking then you need to reevaluate exactly what your priorities are.

The Capital One Venture card looks to be a great card for someone who travels. I have used other Capital One cards in the past and they were good to me. I now use Barclay Rewards cards, as I would rather have points toward money back than miles toward airline flights. The other thing I would change about this card is the annual fee of $59 after the first year. None of my cards have fees and never will. I do not understand cards that still charge annual fees. They do get a big WIN for the smart chip in the card!

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a terrific choice for the inveterate traveler. If like me, you are planning your next trip while ON a trip, then I think this card deserves your attention. Flexibility is its biggest selling point. This card gives total choice on where to apply your points - any airline, any hotel, no blackout dates. Not many cards I'm aware of do that. Also, it features a smart chip for security and no foreign transaction fee. I got dinged on the transaction fees on my last trip. Ouch! So, why did I give it 4 stars and not 5 stars? I think the $59 more

I love my venture card. Not only does it have a big spending limit but it also gives me two miles on an airplane for every dollar I spend. It wouldn't be good for someone who doesn't like to travel much or often but for someone who likes to explore and go on planes as often as possible it's literally a dream come true. The fee's aren't the best but they're manageable and you don't have to pay them often if you keep up with your spending. Not to mention the card looks great!

I got the Capital One Venture a little over a year ago, and so far I like it. I love having flexibility in regards to where my points are spent, and the fact that my points do ot expire. Since I use the card for business transactions I am able to earn points quickly.

I do not like the annual fee. Annual fees are outdated and annoying for consumers. I also do not like that the card gives the same rewards for everything. I also do not like that the card does not include an introductory interest period. This is surprising due to the fact so many cards do. I do like that the card has no blackout dates. I also like that the miles do not expire. I also like that the Capital One provides you with your credit score. This makes it easy to track the effects of your spending habits on your credit.

Capital One overall is a fantastic credit card company to deal with and their Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is no exception to that. Starting with the basics, you have a low interest rate, low fees, and a crazy list of benefits. That's really the best part of this card.

Tons of rewards. Lots of possible points towards travel, concierge service, emergency services, and even rental insurance! If you're a traveler you'll be hard pressed to find a better card. Even if you don't travel a ton, this card has so many benefits it's more than worth it. This card easily gets a 10/10.

This is a wonderful card. My boyfriend and I have both applied for one now. We love the rewards program and how flexible the redemption options can be. We are saving our points for Christmas! All in all it is a great card—we love the low interest rates as well, but the rewards are most definitely the best feature of this credit card.

I heard about this card though a friend because they knew I was traveling a lot. I saw the great perks of mileage rewards and decided to sign up. I was a little disappointed there was a annual fee on the 2nd year of $59, but overall the travel rewards made up for it. Overall I have enjoyed using this card, and have never had any problems with customer service. The 24 hour road assistance actually saved me big time 4 months ago when I was traveling late at night. I like everything but the annual fee...

The most appealing aspect of the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is of course the 2x miles on every single purchase. Even my Discover Card does not offer points on just any kind of purchase. The added bonus of 40,000 points is one of the best offers that I have seen in addition to the points not expiring. A huge disadvantage for me is the $59 annual fee after the 1st year. There are so many credit cards like my Discover that do not charge an annual fee so I don't see any advantage is having an annual fee.

Because of my job, my husband and I travel a lot. Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a great card for travelers like myself to have. I love the fact that miles do not expire and there are no black out dates. And the customer service is great. I had a problem the other day with making the payment for my Capital One Credit Card. I told them that last month my account showed that I payed but than the payment did not go through. The manager at Capital One fixed everything and canceled the the fee for not paying on time. The customer service representative were very nice more

I travel a lot, and I almost always use a credit card instead of my bank card when I do, so this card is perfect for me. The miles always seem to add up quickly. And the fact that there are no black out dates is hugely important. I've had the card for less than a year, and I'm not thrilled about the fact that there will now be an annual fee of $59 (not the mentioned $35 on this page), but it's still totally worth it. The APR is pretty low as well, but I always pay it off anyway.

Compared with my basic Bank of America card, I am not digging the APR on this one. There seem to be some nice benefit with it as far as travel points, but that is all I can say about it. I also do not like the annual fee. None of my other credit cards carry this requirement. Overall I guess it is an okay card if you are someone who could benefit from the travel rewards. I am not one of those people.

Just wondering what it takes to get a lower interest rate. I have had this card for over a year and have excellent credit rating (around 780). But I still have a 20% interest rate. I called and asked and they said they will let me know when I qualify for a better interest rate. I try to pay it off each month but I guess it still irks me. Other than that a great card. Just purchased airline tickets and got reimbursed within a few days.

I would definitely consider the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. I have been a customer with Capital One for over 15 years and have always had great service. This particular credit card gives 2 miles for every dollar, which is twice as many as most competitor cards. In addition the interest rate can be as low as 13.9% with good credit. While the card does have an annual fee, it less than half of what the American Express Platinum Card’s annual fee is. I travel internationally sometimes, so the no transaction fees is a selling point. The concierge and travel upgrades would also be very appealing. As someone who more

I have had this card for a short time and I am very pleased with what it offers. I had the regular capital one card and it had a high interest rate and I never got any miles on it. As I got used to this new one I realized the interest was lower and I've already earned quite a bit of miles. I couldn't be happier with the company because I was already pleased with what I had but now I feel like they gave me a better deal for being a good customer and all the things that I wished I had before I have more than I more

The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card seems like it would be a good option for someone who travels frequently, and also has excellent credit! I however do not possess either of these qualities and therefore do not have a use for this card. I prefer my NFCU card that simply pays you back in cash rather than miles which can be hard to redeem!

I have this card and so does my girlfriend. She signed up for the card as well because we can transfer miles to each other easily. There is a threshold where the fee makes it worth owning this card, but if you use it regularly it is easily obtainable. My only issue I have ever had with this card was on a trip to vegas when I forgot to tell them I was travelling. It was declined and I had to call in to get it reactivated. Which was not a problem. I pay it off every month so the interest rate is no problem. Double miles for this low more

I do like this card for the miles that you earn with every purchase. However, there are two things that urk me. One is that it does not allow me to transfer my miles online to my husbands card. Don't give that option when it is truly not available. I have to call in. Two is that they are not honoring their offer of personalizing credit cards due to the new chip technology. I won't have my chip card for over a year according to the representative. So why can't I have my card personalized for a year???? So lame. The representatives are nice. I love this card! A couple of months ago I started searching for my first credit card. I saw a lot cash back cards which were appealing, but I decided to go with the Capital One Venture Rewards card. Because I wanted to travel. And this card offered me free miles with every purchase. I earned bonus miles in my first month just by using my card to buy books and clothes. It's unbelievable that I can earn free airline tickets whenever I buy shoes or pay for gas. Their customer service agents are helpful, and fast. I have always had my questions quickly answered by an agent.

The Capital One Venture Rewards card is perfect for traveler's. The card offers 2% rewards on all purchases which is a rare find in cards today. There is a very nice sign-up bonus for new accounts and plenty of traveler friendly rewards and perks. With low rates and no foreign transaction fee, the card is one of the best available for those on the go.

This card is great if you travel a lot.
New accounts have a $0 introductory annual fee for the entire first year which will save you a lot of money compared to cards that charge large fees. It also has 40,000 bonus miles. There is a $0 more

I like the rewards on the Capitol One Venture Rewards card. 40,000 bonus miles after only $3000 in purchases as well as the 2x miles AND it’s good on any airline. I know other cards tend to lock you into one airline. For someone who travels a lot it sounds like a really great deal. The APR is high but should not be a concern if you pay your bill every month, which is the best way to deal with these rewards card.
