Guaranteed Approval Credit Cards

While no credit card provides 100% guaranteed approval, secured cards come pretty close. Secured credit cards are able to effectively guarantee approval because they require you to place a refundable security deposit of at least $200 which serves as your credit line, preventing you from overspending and ensuring that the issuer gets paid back if you stop making payments. As long as you place this security deposit and prove that you are a real person (i.e. by providing a valid Social Security Number), then you should have no problem getting a secured card no matter how bad your credit…show more

I signed up for a Capital One secured credit card to increase my credit and purchasing limit. Although my credit is not really bad, I had a high balance on one of my cards. With the secured card, I was able to make purchases with money that I had without hurting my credit score. I only recently started using the card and I expect to see an improvement in my credit score after a few months. I expect to have an increased spending limit within six months of using the card and maintaining a good payment record. I am quite happy with the product.

These are great if you want to avoid a pointless hard inquiry on your credit score. I had been using a secured credit card for a while, purely to build up my credit score. When I saw an ad for a pre-approved Quicksilver card through Capital One, I took the opportunity. The actual application (after the pre-approval) does generate a hard inquiry, but you know you're getting something out of it: Another credit line, and a higher credit score in the long run.

I was recently approved for the Capital One Quicksilver Master Card. The approval process was very easy. I was given instant approval despite having a fairly low credit score and there no need to verify my income. I received a $300 line of credit with a possible increase of $200 if I make my first 6 payments on time. There is also %0 APR on the for the first six months and cash back on purchase. I would definitely recommend this card to any trying to rebuild their credit or build new credit.

In college I first realized I had no credit when I did a credit check. I knew I would not be able to get a loan for any big purchases in my future without it. I would not be able to get a starter home that I wanted to a few years later. I had to apply through Paypal for their Mastercard. They had an easy credit card process despite not having credit and they approved my card quickly. I believe it was instant approval to anyone with good paypal history. I used it for several years after that and at least build up some credit. Now instead of having non-existent credit I now have around 700 credit. I feel anyone can follow that same path to build credit as well.

I had to use a secured credit card because of a foreclosure on my credit a few years back. I ended up applying for the Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card. The process was simple enough and I just had to put security deposit. I used the card regularly and paid my bills on time and within a few months, my credit score improved.

I got my first credit card when I was 20 years old. Before that, my parents added me as an authorized user in their card. Because I had no credit history, my credit score wasn't that great. I ended up getting the First National Bank of Omaha Secured Visa Credit Card. I used my card to buy books and food through college. Within a few months, my credit score went up. This was the beginning of how I started to build my credit.

Back when I was 18, I used a guaranteed approval Chase student credit card while in college to help build my credit. I had no previous debt or credit cards, so this helped me establish my credit. It is my longest account and I have had it for over 7 years. I don’t think it would have been as easy to build credit without having a card with a long history like that.

When I started to use credit cards I used bank cards from local banks to start my credit and it was convenient to pay in person. When I got close to the due date it came in handy. When my credit got better I switched to other cards with better rates and terms.

I used the Capital One card. It was the first card I ever got (with no credit/bad credit) and the limit was high. It was double the line of credit that most cards give you. The interest rate at the time was 0% for the first few months and afterwards was 9 percent. The card is not what it used to be. The interest rates are crazy now and the fees are high as well. I had an annual fee, but it was an unsecured card. Now you only have the option of secured to start with. Still, it is better than most of the cards out there if you have to get something, and it does build your credit.

I once applied for the Capital One Secured Mastercard. I had very poor credit and did not expect to ever have a better one. Once I was guaranteed and approved I was able to make very low payments on the card and it helped to free me from the burden of bad credit!
